Educating Judith: a woman's search for spanking fulfilment
The Educating Judith box set, with just under 120,000 words, charts the spanking and sexual experiences of Judith, from her teenage years to middle age. In her teens, Judith is a solitary schoolgirl and shy student who fantasises about being spanked. When the glamorous Roxanne seeks her out, Judith gradually becomes besotted with the exciting schoolgirl and soon begins to incorporate Roxanne in her fantasies.
Invited to France for a long stay in the lovely house run by the elegant Madame, Judith is quite fascinated at discovering a martinet in the schoolroom and later experiences it for herself during a punishment. Judith blossoms further when she finds a boyfriend - Xavier - who makes Roxanne very jealous. But it is Madame whom Judith is truly fascinated by; Judith is not at all averse to her discipline and the two women keep in touch when Judith returns to England where she later marries Alex.
The years roll by and Judith is invited by her former Paris flatmate to spend a few weeks in Sitges, Spain. There she attracts the eye of Gerald, an English artist; she sits for him... but finds it hard to be patient with his wayward daughter Erica. She realises that Erica is in need of the same sort of 'encouragement' in her university studies as she herself had been from Madame in Paris. The tuition goes well and Erica is punished when necessary. However, Judith makes it clear to Gerald that she deserves at least the same punishment which she handed out to his daughter ... She readily accepts Gerald's dinner invitation, and the subsequent night leaves nothing to be desired!
But Judith's life back in England is not so exciting. Being the mother of two university-aged children and the wife of Alex, a respectable solicitor, she has a solid standing in the community - but all she craves is for Alex to give her a good sound spanking followed by fulfilment in bed. For the first time in their marriage Alex becomes aware of his wife's proclivities, and when they go on a trip to Paris he talks to others and learns more about his wife's past. Judith is amazed when he indicates that he might not be averse to punishing her, though she feels it may be too late in their marriage for that. Not so - for a subtle change overtakes their relationship. Judith's taunting does not have the usual effect and Alex surprises her. Their marriage has a new dynamic and is proving very fulfilling...

I first read Steve Rayer's box set OLD FASHIONED DISCIPLINE: FOUR SPANKING ROMANCES. As detailed in my review of those, his stories I found perceptive, captivating my spanko imagination. But I left my reading of those yearning for greater character development.
In the EDUCATING JUDITH books, the author paints a full, complex portrait of a young woman coming to grips with a nascent spanking obsession. They are insightful, randy, and include not only M/F but F/F content as well. Set in a variety of interesting, international settings, they follow Judith's maturation and education into the womanly craft of spanking. What's not to like here!
