One of the joys of using this Bible on a regular basis is seeing the notes I’ve added during previous study. My margins are filled with sermon notes, quotes from favorite Bible scholars, and my own thoughts.

For the first time, I’ve completed a Bible in a Year plan during the course of a calendar year. I’m glad I did it, but look forward to returning to study at a leisurely pace, and taking a deep dive into scripture. On days that required reading a half dozen chapters, I longed for more time to linger over shorter passages and cross reference to other passages of scripture.

Due to all the history and markings I’ve filled this Bible with over the past five years, it has become one of my most cherished possessions.
