Danae Little takes real life and wraps it up neatly into something beautiful you can hold in your hands. Her greatest life trauma, losing her son by stillbirth, exists in written form for all to read and find hope within. Carson’s Gifts captures the true essence of grief, personal and life touching, and then leads you to find the gifts only loss may bring.

Life is dynamic and ever-changing and Danae embraces that, bringing an eclectic array of expertise to her readers. Her years as an elementary teacher led her to author a tutorial book for teachers who use interactive whiteboards in their classrooms. Interactive Classroom Management: Interactive Tools leads teachers to discover the true potential of their interactive whiteboards as a classroom management tool.

Watching her son grow, Danae found a need to document all of his amazing accomplishments so she published three journals: Did You Hear That: A Record of All the Amazing Things Your Kid Says, Did You See That: A Record of All the Amazing Things Your Kid Does, and Baby Blessings: Guidance, Encouragement & Blessings.

Danae has also authored a guided journal series called, Write Your Marriage Back Together, which helps couples to recreate the connection they felt when they first fell in love. Her idea of this series came to be while writing her debut novel, Finding Home. As this novel began unfolding Danae found herself embedding how she felt while falling in love with her husband and her marriage reaped the benefits.

Currently Danae works on a short story from a secondary character's voice from Finding Home and of course the next book in the Homestead series!

This young woman is a good storyteller. Her characters are well drawn. Delghtful surprises of descriptive phrases sprinkled throughout the novel. Waiting for the next book in her series.

I loved this book and identified with it on so many levels...I'll probably read it again, which I rarely do, read a book twice. I give it 10 stars!

This Is my first Heart Throb novel and to my surprise I enjoyed it very much. After much encouragement form my girlfriend I picked it yup and finished it within a matter of days. Living in the country all my life I found many of the comforts Cora grew to understand immediately resonating with those I knew so well.
Danae C. Little's summations of the small things I have always enjoyed but often forget to notice were enlightening and somewhat revitalizing and I found myself wishing more and more for the seasons rains to come and bring me those experiences Cora so grew to love.
The romance was endearing but not over the top and and brought encouragement to the possibility a transplant (a person moving form city to nature, or vice versa) could be so enamored with a change of scenery and life. This hope holds especially true having lived my life in a very small town with a small with an equally small pool to choose from.
I would like to comment on the joys I shared in the Romance aspect and the drama levels of drama that did or did not arise but I don't wish to spoil anything.
I hope my joy in the experience was common and the takeaway each of you experienced was (and diverse) as well!
Happy Readings!!

Little has made Homestead so real I want to look it up on the map. It reminds me of the town my mother grew up in, though in a totally different setting and part of America. Fascinating characters who are well developed.

Refreshing Romance

This is not your usual romance story. There is a lot of self examining and discovery woven into these pages. This was wonderful to read a book that really delt with the issues a woman can face and struggle with. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this story very much. I loved getting to know the residents of Homestead and look forward to more of their stories. The romance is sweet and even tho the story was a bit predictable I still had to know how it was going to turn out and found myself up past my bedtime to finish. Danae is definitely a writer, I enjoyed her characters and writing style and will read what comes next!
