This book conveys an important theoretical premisse to the Political Communication Studies: the colonization of politics.

According to the author, there exist two distinct logics: the logic of the media and the logic of politics. However, the media, having a larger and larger portion of the construction of reality is imposing their aspects and pre-conditions on politics, making it seem way to simplistic and fast to the ordinary citizen and even deriving some serious dangers to the politic process from it.

And altogether great book, a bit dense, but with a great grip on the subjects it works with. I recommend it to everyone interested in the topic covered.
