A Cowboy for Christmas

I don’t need a woman in my business—especially not one with a smart mouth and a curvy body. Molly Gale has been nothing but trouble ever since she showed up at the ranch next door. And now, right before a huge snowstorm hits on Christmas Eve, I have to go to her homestead. Have to see her, have to get another whiff of her strawberry scent. It’s enough to drive a man mad. But I’ll keep things professional, keep my hands to myself, and do what needs to be done. It’s the perfect plan … Until my horse throws me and I need help from none other than the woman with the fiery tongue and the deliciously thick hips. Yippee ki yay and Merry Christmas to me.

For Ingram running his ranch is life, but ever since Molly has come back to claim her father's ranch next door life has got a little bit more stressful. These two seemed to have some kind of love/hate relationship, Molly loved to tease and bait Ingram and Ingram hated her for it.

Some of Molly's cattle have gone missing, while out on a ride Ingram finds broken fencing and hoof prints from where rustlers have obviously gotten through with cattle. So now Molly and Ingram have to join forces to stop the rustlers and save their properties.

 photo ranch_zps5rmip7ts.jpg

They figure out who is behind the cattle rustling or at least they think they do. I really enjoyed the suspense element it gave this novella that little something extra.

As for Molly and Ingram they make a cute couple and have a heap of chemistry. When they finally got into the bedroom it was super hot, ranch style.

 photo mollyandingram_zpsutd0kj7a.gif

So this little read really surprised me it had so much more than the usual novella. I enjoyed everything about it the scenery, characters, plot and writing were all great. There wasn't much Christmas stuff in it except that it was Christmas time when everything 'happened' but that's no biggy for me.

OMG!!! That scene in the barn with the bull Nelly's Bruiser, I swear I nearly pissed myself laughing.

I highly recommend this little read.

“You and me are meant to be together like this. Right here. Right now.”

A sweet holiday novella featuring a happy ending between a sexy cowboy and his cowgirl.

She snuggled her head beneath mine, my heart likely pounding in her ear. It was hers—my heart, my everything, all of it.

Fun and sexy are two words I would use to describe this book. Also, for some reason, ever since I saw that cover, the phrase “Yee haw” has been stuck in my mind! 😂

I may have been a roughneck cowboy, but I would never treat her like anything less than a lady.

Yeehaw!!!

Molly Gale and Ingram Brady’s ranches are attached. Someone is stealing their cattle and Molly accuses Ingram that he is the one behind this.
Ingram suspects which is the responsible family, but when he goes to inform Molly he fells from his horse and gets injured.
Molly looks after him and together they try to prove who steals the cattle.

The book has
a little bit of the mystery (with the stolen cattle),
a little bit of Christmas (I really wanted more),
a little bit of enemies to lovers trope (the “enemies” part does not last for long),
a little bit of friends to lovers trope (Molly and Ingram have grown up together and were friends –although Molly had a major crush on Ingram- before they become enemies before they become lovers)
a little bit of smut (certainly not enough! I wish Ingram was less gentleman) and
lots of romance.

Perfect book in you are in a "Save a horse, ride a cowboy" mood.

"He looked like a cowboy on the cover of a romance novel."

A Cowboy for Christmas is a delicious Christmas read full of passion and sweet sexy goodness! Molly Gale has returned home to run her dad's ranch. After his passing, she has abandoned her college education to herd cattle and cowgirl it up. Her neighbor Ingram Brady is not at all happy to have a spunky and spirited young woman living next door. Ingram, a close friend of her father, has nothing but disdain for Molly. But when a snowstorm hits on Christmas Eve, Ingram and Molly are brought together and disdain turns to temptation and passion swiftly ensues. As someone tries to cause mayhem on Molly's ranch, Ingram stands by her side to save the ranch and claim her as his own.

"We're forever, Molly. You and me."
Told in dual POV, A Cowboy for Christmas is a perfect read to get you in the holiday mood. The characters are quite endearing and the connection between the two, albeit fast, is smoking hot! Although I am not a huge cowboy romance fan, I found myself completely enraptured by this ranch romance. The tempo of the read is fast as the plot unfolds at a brisk pace. I found Molly's spunky personality to be a perfect match for Ingram's broody alpha male persona.

Ms. Aaron never fails to impress me with her versatile storytelling. This quick Christmas Romance is a perfect way to usher in the holiday season. With passion, romance, and cowboy fun there is simply nothing better!

One of the things I love most about Celia Aaron is her ability to diversify her portfolio. She does romantic suspense, romantic comedy, contemporary romance, and now, a sweet and easy country holiday classic! A Cowboy for Christmas was a really romantic, steamy and suspenseful read.

One part incredibly hot cowboy…

One part insanely beautiful cowgirl…

and tons of drama to keep any reader entertained. Ingram was a brooding, sexy cowboy and Molly was running the neighboring farm. They knew each other forever, but Molly had gone off to college and off to lead a different life. When her father passed, she came home to run his farm and these two just couldn’t stop butting heads. Their chemistry was hot AF and amidst their budding romance, they found themselves a rustler ‘round these parts!

If you’re looking for a great book to add to your holiday reading list, then this dirty-talking cowboy and his feisty cowgirl should make the cut.

Least favorite read ever by this author. Celia proves here that she can do sweet but I much prefer when she does nasty!!!
Short novella, story finishes at 43%, do hate when that happens and I am not expecting it.
Included two other Celia Aaron shorts: Christmas Candy and A Stepbrother for Christmas.

Let me kick this review off by saying I am a self-proclaimed cowboy romance hater, I pretty much avoid cowboys in romance at all costs, but I love Celia Aaron's other books and I couldn't possibly say no to a Christmas book. I'm sure the star review tells you everything you need to know, but I'll spell it out for you anyway, A Cowboy for Christmas changed my mind about cowboy romance entirely. IT WAS SUCH A GOOD READ. All sorts of rugged deliciousness filled this short novella about Ingram Brady and his complete dislike of neighbor girl, Molly Gale. It had snow, just a tiny bit of Christmas-y romance, a heap of chemistry, andddd A REAL PLOT. I know, a Christmas novella about cowboys with a real story to it, put it on your must read list.

"That smart mouth needed discipline, needed a man like me to tame it."

I was all about this book when I was reading it, like really into the suspense around the cattle rustlers and even more into the sexy time that Molly and Ingram were just made to be having together. Ingram is hot, handsome, and a short-tempered alpha type of guy, he doesn't put up with a whole lot, especially from Molly Gale, the daughter of his since passed neighbor. She's accusing him of things he would never do, so when he has a chance to prove her wrong her takes it. He wants to get her back for making a scene, but when she helps him after a fall things change a bit. He sees a side of her he didn't want to and it stirred something in him. Molly is sweet and tough as nails, she's young and new to owning a ranch on her own, but she won't take crap from anyone. She and Ingram set out to find the cattle rustlers together and find out a bit about each other along the way, like how hot the flames are between them.

"All that in a single kiss that seared through my hardened heart and spurred it to beat again."

A Cowboy for Christmas isn't as Christmas-y as some of the other novellas on the market, but it doesn't make it any less perfect for the holidays. There are some hilarious, laugh out loud moments and a whole lot of make you blush moments too. It's entertaining and sexy, something Celia Aaron is always good at giving to her readers.

A Cowboy for Christmas by Celia Aaron is the story of Molly Gale and Ingram Brady.
Molly has returned home to work on her father's ranch after he has pasted. Ingram is a neighbor of Molly's who they bump heads and words each time they meet up. But the more they are together the more their fighting turns to wanting. Ingram starts to understand Molly is his woman and that is everything.
Ms. Aaron did a wonderful job of this love/hate relationship that grew into so much more. Enjoyable hot read...loved it!

Quería un vaquero para navidad pero no lo encontré en esta historia

✨🎄✨A cowboy For Christmas de Celia Aaron✨🎄✨

Ingram likes his hermit status, especially if it keeps him away from his neighbor, with the sexy, err smart mouth. And now that she's accusing him of stealing her cattle? Why, how dare she? She's lucky he doesn't spank her butt, like he wants to, he means, teach her a lesson like she deserves. Where was she when her Dad was sick? Ingram was right there, taking care of his friend, Pop. Now, after he's gone, she shows up, claiming the ranch, and wants to change things? The nerve! But, during a check of his property, when he finds evidence of where her cattle is truly going, and whose to blame, he knows he needs to tell her, even if only as a last favor to his mentor, Pop.

When Molly hears a gunshot, she fears the worst, rustlers hoping to take what's hers. But when Slingshot, Ingram's horse races toward her, minus his rider, she knows something isn't right. Ingram, ten years her senior, is an experienced rancher. When she'd known him during her teen years, he was her father's friend, nothing more. She was too intent on getting out of town to notice boys, or man, in his case. But now? Wow is he handsome. Upon returning home after his death, painful memories of losing her mom having kept her away before, she realizes it really is her home, and she's not leaving again.

Ingram should be thankful Molly found him and is willing to help him. But she's temptation in a package he tries to convince himself he doesn't want, and she's selfish, never once visiting Pop when he needed her.

Molly is hurt by Ingram's words, but she knows he's right. It doesn't matter that her Dad told her not to come, that he didn't want her to see him dying before her eyes. She shouldn't have listened, and now that regret will stay with her for the rest of her life.

As Molly takes care of an injured Ingram, the two actually talk, and Ingram learns why Molly didn't come home until after her Dad was gone, and realizes he misjudged her. Their close proximity to one another, as well as their sudden search for the rustler's identity, leads to their intense chemistry growing until they're unable to resist. But just as they're starting to find happiness in their new relationship, danger comes calling, and may take away their future.

Who took Molly's livestock and why? Can Ingram protect her? Will they survive the threat headed their way? Is a HEA possible?

One-click now and follow along as two people, one believing the worst of the other until the truth is revealed, discover a love becomes the greatest gift of all. Also, for those safety conscious like myself, we learn Ingram has been celibate for years, and though the same isn't said in regards to Molly, it is implied it's been a while for her as well.

**I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**

Short and sweet and suspenseful.

Loved the tension between Molly and Ingram toward the beginning. Also watching their icy walls slowly melt and feelings grow and things progressively get warmer was sweet and entertaining. I would like my very own cowboy for Christmas please, especially if he’s like Ingram.

Add in a little suspense and this was a quick and enjoyable Christmas novella.

The story ends at 43%, which I knew and was okay with. Then, there are two bonus Christmas stories at the end. Three for one!

A solid two stars for this short. There was just enough character development for this to be engaging. As it was, it would probably have been better as a full length story. There was a lot of potential but not enough pages to develop anything properly. We get a glimpse of ranch life and also glimpses of the MCs’ lives separately, but not enough of either.

I️ enjoyed the fact that the H in his story was a good guy. He had his faults but the fact that he was older than the h (not father old- sorry, that’s not for me) and not a manho was lovely. The seemingly instalove was a little too fast and the mystery was thin, but it was a definite ok read.

Safe with exceptions

They have know each other for a while (since kids), she’s been away for a long time. Both not virgins, it’s been a very long time for H, no details were given on their past relationship, H is about 12 years older than her.

-Great build up to love
-No OW Drama
-Older man younger woman
-Alpha male
-Hot
-Once together no pushing away or separation
-No Epilogue!!!! BOOoO!!

A recommended read!!

Forget Christmas, I'll take the cowboy ...

So, of course before I start my review I have to say thank you to the awesome ass Celia Aaron.  I've had plenty of opportunities to ARC read and review your books, and every single time, I am more grateful and blown away.  So thank you babe!  You're the frickin best!

Now to the good stuff .....

Celia Aaron sure knows how to give you the feels in a short read.  I'm talking full blown googly eyes and steamy glasses kind of feels.  Well, glasses for me anyway.

A Cowboy for Christmas is a love story about Molly and Ingram.  Molly left her hometown to go to college, but unfortunate events led her back.  Coming back wasn't a bad thing, but coming back to a hostel neighbor definitely wasn't part of the plan.

With Molly back home, Ingram isn't very happy that she stayed away in the first place.  When he finds out why she hasn't been around, his preconceived notions change.  Now that both of their lands are in danger, they have to find a way to get along or risk losing everything.  However, getting along isn't the problem anymore, but their budding attraction may become a distraction.

I loved this story.  It is just long and enough to give you all of the necessary character background, and just short enough to be considered a sexy novella.  This is definitely an appropriate book for some pre-Christmas fun.  It is funny, has drama and sexy to boot.  When Molly and Ingram finally admit they want each other and stop fighting it, the sex between them is so dang hot!  Ingram being a legit cowboy makes that so much hotter.  It's like you can imagine him being a roughneck, but gentle enough to get the job done.  If that makes a lick of sense.

So, if you are looking for a short story to get your heart pumping and pulse racing, this is definitely the book for you.  You will be kind of sad at some points, but ultimately you will enjoy this light read.  Do yourself a favor and one-click your next book boyfriend.

You're welcome!!!

I don't like my MCs having met before when one of them were late teens/kids because for obvious reasons I like there to be attraction/magnetism/celibacy straight from that moment which won't happen in the aforementioned situation. Not that either of them are virgins so it's fine in that sense. I also don't like 180s. You can't treat someone badly and expect forgiveness straight of the bat which is what happened here. Convicting her when he doesn't even know the truth. Like for months he gave her the cold shoulder, and suddenly he finds out she isn't in the wrong and it's red hot attraction with her agreeing to a marriage in 72 hours? I think the f*ck not. I just wasn't really impressed. Celia Aaron's done better.

Yee-haw!!

What a fun and sexy story!
I'm not always a fan of hot cowboy books, but I am a huge fan of Celia Aaron. I'm so glad I gave this one a try.

Ingram has the whole drawly, macho cowboy vibe and Molly is the feisty woman who took over her late father's neighboring ranch. They've known each other for years, but misunderstanding and a bit of cattle rustling have put them on opposite sides of the proverbial (and literal) fence. While solving the rustling mystery, they realize there's a lot they need to learn about each other. Their wild attraction grows the more time they spend together.

This is a fairly short, completely entertaining wintery tale. The sexual tension is hot and the plot twist is unexpected. I'd love to see Celia write more of these sexy cowboy tales!

Rancher Ingram Brady is older, settled, and one might say a bit grumpy, at least in Molly Gale's eyes. Molly, a neighbor and a rancher herself, enjoys riling him up. Irritated on one hand and attracted on the other Ingram tries to keep his distance until an accident on Christmas Eve forces him to accept her help and suddenly they are united in matters of the heart and in solving a mystery that plagues them both. A Cowboy for Christmas is a sweet, funny, sexy, mystery, romance by the incomparable Celia Aaron. I loved it.

I Voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book

All Ingram Brady wants is to be left alone, working on his ranch in peace. But it seems that his new neighbour Molly Gale is determined to make his life hell.
Sassy, stubborn and much to his dismay sexy as all hell and he wants nothing to do with her. But now she clearly needs his help as there is someone out to ruin her ranch and she keeps blaming him for this. And now he can't help but get involved and saving the women who he can't help but want in his bed
Molly Gale is home looking after her father's ranch now that he has passed away. And the highlight of her day is riling up her next door neighbour. She doesn't understand why he is so anti-her. So that's why she enjoys making his life miserable and she more can't understand why all of a sudden he is right next to her wanting to help her find her lost cattle and finding out who is trying to ruin her.

I loved this one, short, sexy, and with some twists and turns that you would not expect happening. One thing that actually intrigued me was Julia who was Molly's helper on the ranch and what happened in her past.
Definitely a good read

This is a novella by Celia Aaron and it was great!! I loved the story it was well written and well worth reading!

This is the story of Ingram and Molly. Ingram owns the ranch next door and was friends with Molly’s dad Pop for years and as well as his ranch hand when he was just a young man so he learned a lot from him and cared dearly for Pop and once he passes away and Molly returns it enrages him because she couldn’t spare a moment for her father when his health was failing.

Molly has returned to the ranch and determined to make this work but when rustlers start stealing her animals she assumes it’s Ingram and they but heads on more than one occasion neither wanting anything to do with the other.

However fate has a way of intervening and drawing them together and the chemistry sparks and neither can withstand its draw for too long.

This story keeps you wanting more and interested from the start to see how things will play out for them and it’s a wonderful Christmas tale! Another great story by Celia Aaron!

Celia Aaron channeled her inner Louis L'Amour and added her crafty way to create a beautiful holiday story. Molly and Ingram are a tribute to those who work hard and reap rewards in the end. Even rewards they've thought they deserved and relinquished. In true Aaron fashion, she blends the gritty and the sexy in such a way you are sure to fall in love. So kick up your boots and fix your hat because there is a storm on the way and you don't want to miss this holiday treat!

1st I must pay homage to this spectacular cover - Holy beautiful Christmas lights! Just kidding - all is see are those gorgeous abs and pecs. Utterly delicious. And that hat woooooo yummy!

A Cowboy for Christmas is a sweet, light read with everything I love in a great book wrapped up in this novella. Ingram is a rugged loner on his ranch. Molly comes back home to run her father's ranch after he passes away. These neighbors can't seem to stand each other but you know what they say - there's a fine line between love and hate! Well these two proved it. What starts out as two unlikely allies weathering a dangerous, cold winter storm quickly becomes an avalanche of attraction and affection. The alpha side of Ingram quickly decides Molly is his. His to protect. His to hold. Molly secretly lusts after Ingram but doesn't act on it. The build up in just right. Their chemistry is unequaled. These two were made for each other. Gah just so perfect. Not sticky over the top sweet. Just the perfect amount.

Celia Aaron you are one insanely talented author! I swear Celia can write and nail any genre. I've read her fantastic rom-coms to her dark depraved bad guys that I couldn't help but fall for. I have loved them all. And let me tell you - Ingram & Molly came through for the win here in this luscious holiday surprise. Last year she gave us Christmas Candy which I adored! If you haven't read it - grab it too!

I want me one of those for Christmas too!!! Especially one like Ingram. I loved this story, and as I've said many times before about books like these, it's a made for Hallmark movie type of read. It has all the feels and some added intrigue and excitement, but overall it is a wonderfully romantic read that will have you melting into a puddle, just as the snow melts in the story. Beautifully written, quick and to the point, a little angst in the beginning but this book will have you turning page after page finishing with an "aaahhhhhh".

The characters are well written and well defined. Ingram is strong, hot, all cowboy, and grumpy now that his neighbor's daughter has returned to take over her father's ranch. He is attracted to her looks, but he's furious that she never returned to be with her ailing father. Molly is smart, has a smart mouth and is a stubborn woman...takes after her dad. She's a beauty with a college education but a love for her family ranch. She doesn't understand why Ingram is so grumpy with her, but now that some of her livestock is coming up missing, she lashes out at him as being the culprit. Will these two wrongs make a right???

Great story, wonderful characters and some quite steamy love scenes that are hot enough to melt the snow that is covering the ranches outside. This is a quick read but it will make you all warm and toasty inside. I highly recommend this book!

A Cowboy for Christmas by Celia Aaron is a quick and hot read, though there is snow, staring Ingram Brady and Molly Gale, neighboring ranchers. Though their are misunderstandings between them they soon learn that they have bigger issues effecting their ranches and a much stronger attraction between them than they could have ever imagined. For a short story I enjoyed how well developed the setting, plot and characters were. Ms. Aaron continually shows a skill at creating back story quickly and seamlessly so that characters feel well rounded and developed, and she has done that expertly here again. I enjoyed the fiery banter between Molly and Ingram shows the deeper passion they have and the drive to be with each other is unstoppable. These are characters that have each other's back and and ones that you will fall in love with in a hurry.

Overall I recommend A Cowboy for Christmas by Celia Aaron. It is a fun quick read, but one that is well developed and more than meets the eye. Molly and Ingram's passion and connecting will have you flipping pages.
