I keep seeing all these great looking recipes on IG from this cookbook so I thought I would buy the ebook. I spent 2 hours last night reading it from cover to cover. I highlighted the crap out of it and tagged over 30 recipes I want to try, pretty much today. I was worried at first because I'm a huge picky eater but I saw that it will be easy to sub in and out some of the ingredients. So glad I picked this up! I even learned a couple of new things about nutrition. I’m down 60 lbs eating the ketogenic way and I love how it makes me feel. Yay me!
Well, I didn't purchase the kindle edition but there is no other edition listed here and I'm too lazy to chase down and add the paperback version I bought at Costco so there.
Trying to keep myself motivated to Stick to The Plan. Read it cover to cover and found the intro good. Not sure I agree with her net carb calculations. The few recipes I've tried have been good. I have to admit here that I am a long time fan girl of Carolyn Ketchum's recipes so there is that to consider. No regrets about purchasing it, thumbing through a beautiful book of new recipes will often jolt me out of a cooking rut and that is as good thing.
I do not understand why this woman includes liquid stevia in every single recipe, even when it makes zero sense! French onion soup? Liquid stevia. Lobster bisque? Liquid stevia. Salmon avocado poke? Liquid stevia! This is driving me crazy!
