The Vampire War by Michelle Madow is the fifth and last book in the young adult paranormal/fantasy series The Vampire Wish. The series began with Annika out skiing with her family when they were attacked by vampires with Annika being the only survivor. The vampires then took Annika hostage to the hidden vampire kingdom of the Vale where she was kept as a human blood slave to provide food for the vampires. It’s in this kingdom where Annika met Jacen who was also taken by the vampires against his will but unlike Annika who still remains human Jacen was turned against his wishes and now fights his desire to kill for blood.

Since the beginning of the story in the first book so much has happened in this fast paced adventure that I don’t want to go into too many details and spoil the story for readers. As with other Michelle Madow books there is always plenty of jaw dropping moments included to keep a reader on the edge of their seat as the story unfolds over the course of the series. Some of the things included in this series though are of course the vampire kingdom the story begun in but the world has been expanded to learn of other kingdoms along with werewolves outside the borders, witches who bring their sorcery into the mix along with now touching upon Nephilim.

Most of the story has centered around the two main characters thus far of Annika and Jacen with them alternating their own points of view but there have also been chapters told from other key characters at different times during the books. As fast paced as they are the story is always easy to follow along with as more and more action is brought in to heighten the story. And even with being quick reads the world and character building is just enough to feel that you get to know exactly what is going on at each turn of the page.

This has definitely been a series to hold my interest and always take me by surprise with each installment along the way and I’d certainly recommend checking it out to fans of this genre. I would definitely suggest though to start back at the beginning with the Vampire Wish otherwise a reader would probably be lost if jumping into the later books as it’s one that has picked up where each left off and built upon that excitement. And now at the end of this series we get glimpses into a new series coming in 2018 featuring some of the characters from these books.

I received a free advance copy of this book directly from the author, thank you to Michelle Madow for allowing me to read early.

It was a nice ending wrapped things up in a way but left room for another story, i really did love the world building and imagination that went into this series, and i devoured all the books in under a week.

In the book the still ever aggravating blood oath pops up consistently, i'm going to read this authors elemental series soon but if i see blood oath i think i will whack my head against the wall. Its not like they even use it for deep vows, i think they would use it over borrowing a cup of sugar.

The other niggle (but only really happened in this book) was where everything was coming together, characters were explaining themselves to other characters events or feelings we had already read about, i just felt a bit de ja vu ish in place and got a bit annoying keep rehashing things.

It is young adult after reading prince Jacen in earlier books had slept with eve envisioning Annika, i did think the main couple would do more than kiss, alas not meant to be..... so 15 year olds perfect book, im not marking my score down for that as the book is as it is intended for such an audience....

I think the series in a whole is a 3.5 to 4 star that was a nice escaping read

* You need to read the previous books to fully understand the story.

Nephalim Annika and vampire prince Jacen are on their quest for the Holy Grail, but neither of them could have expected the hurdles they have to overcome while on their journey. And even finding the Tree of Life might not mean they will find a solution to their problem. Meanwhile, in the Vale kingdom the war between the vampires and the wolves is looming even closer and a demon might be the most invested creatures of all.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we're done. I don't think I've been this relieved in a while to finish a series, because even though this story was spread over 5 books, I think it could have been just one very shitty one. Even this ending was flat and bland and in her rush to finish up the ending it became sloppy and very rushed. There is a set-up for the second series and even though I have that, please don't expect me to get to that anytime soon. I hated this series and I will get rid of this book as soon as humanly possible. Big nope from me, I don't need this bland and boring stuff in my life.

Ok so I waited until I finished the entire series to leave a review. I loved this story - way more than I feel like I should have 😅 I’m very curious about what ends up happening with Camelia too…

No! Does it really have to end? So much has happened over the course of the series and yet so much more has been set in motion. Annika has finally, fully come into her own. Jacen has finally gotten to decide his own path. Yet, the fighting has only just begun.

Review:

Characters: Does anyone recognize these characters from when they were first introduced because honestly, I don't. Don't get me wrong, everything that led here has felt more or less in character and the development of each of these characters has felt realistic and deserved, but in truth, these characters have developed more than almost any I've read before. Annika is a prime example of this. She went from being a blood slave, wishing for the strength to protect herself to impersonating a vampire princess to an activated Nephilim to the potential savior of the world. To say she's been on a wild ride is a severe understatement and there's still more development for her in this book. While these characters are recognizable, their motivations and their goals have constantly shifted throughout the series and it's a joy to see how the change and develop over time. My personal favorite character to watch grow has been Camelia, previously a Jafar-type advisor, her humanity has leaked out at moments and I've really grown to root for her success, maybe not with her more duplicitous actions, but I wanted her to find a happiness that didn't conflict with characters I cared more about.

Romance: So, there really isn't much more to say about the romances in this book than I've already said before. I really do enjoy seeing Jacen and Annika work together in this story and their bond is stronger than ever as they race to save the world from near-certain doom. I love how the author never treated their romance like a race to the finish and has really developed and established their bond and chemistry before rushing into anything with them. Next, there's Karina who's soul mate comes back from the dead, the same soul mate she can't remember, and to make things even more complicated, without her memories of Peter she rushes off to tell Noah that she wants to be with him. Okay, here's my biggest problem with this book, and in all honesty, it's a very small problem, but this subplot wasn't touched on all that much. It is resolved by the end of the book, but without any real focus on it, it just sort of fell flat and I kind of lost interest.

World Building: So, wow, does this book go into the world building. It's not nearly as informative as the previous installment but there's a lot going on. Annika's quest for the Holy Grail leads to some very interesting information and everything that's been building since, well to be honest the second installment, but was truly established at the very end of book 3, finally comes to a head and we learn just what that demon has been doing in Marigold and where it came from. It's so weird to connect this book with the first because while this story started off as Aladdin with vampires and other supernatural creatures, it's turned into something else entirely unrecognizable by the time this installment rolls around, and much like the characters, everything feels both very different, but natural as well.

Predictability: Honestly I'm not sure why I'm keeping this in here I mean, there were quite a few twists and turns in the story and there were also a few things I was able to predict, but on the whole I didn't pay that much attention to how predictable or not this story was. I was just so swept away by it that I never had time to theorize and catch on to the foreshadowing, not that really was any. In fact, I've never really noticed this before but Madow's writing doesn't leave time for a lot of foreshadowing, I mean, some things make sense because they fit into a certain formula, but most of the reveals come nearly out of nowhere.

Ending: The final climax happened a lot sooner than I was expecting it to. I mean it's not like it happens in the middle of the story, but there's definitely a lot of time after the final climax to cool down and set up the next adventure. The final climax though was a lot of fun, I mean there's a war going on but the scenes were really nice and fast-paced and there was a lot of good action to soak up. The cooldown period, as I like to call it, really was all about moving forward and setting up the next series in this world, which I don't mind at all because it also helped tie up Annika and Jacen's story as well a few others for now. There is a sort of epilogue to this book that honestly does the most to set up at least one character's role in the next series, and that's all I feel comfortable saying.

Rating:

Is this book perfect, no there are honestly a few flaws with it, but in the end, I'm giving it 5 stars because it's a highly addicting story with fun and exciting characters and even though it's not perfect I enjoyed every minute of this book, well except for some of the Karina/Peter/Noah stuff but again, a very small issue.

These books came out so quickly after each other that I didn't have a hard time remembering what had happened at the end of the previous book! I have to admit that I couldn't really remember what happened at the end of the last book this time lol, so I did have to go back and re-read the last few chapters before I could read this book! It did take this book a while longer to come out though lol! After reading this book, I can say that I really enjoyed it! I did try and take my time reading it because I knew that it was the final book, but it ended up only taking me one sitting to read lol! The plot also developed at the perfect pace and it really held my attention all the way through! I loved that there were some action and suspense scenes in the plot and they added a lot to it! I loved the romance too! The plot also had a few twist and turns in it and I didn't see them coming! They really impacted the plot! The characters were again amazing and made this book even better! The main character was again Annika, and in this book she was actually on her mission and she kicked ass whilst she was on it! I loved her a lot in this book and she had really changed a lot from the girl introduced at the beginning of the first book! She had grown into a strong, kick-ass character who had come a long way and been through a lot! I loved Annika's changes and I loved that she embraced them! Jacen was again the main male character and love interest of Annika! Jacen and Annika were back as a couple in this book, which made me very happy! I also loved Jacen in this book! He was there for Annika all the way through this book and he helped her a lot when it came to her mission! I adored the love he had for her too! It was very sweet and beautiful! I also liked that Jacen was protective of Annika, but he wasn't overprotective because he knew that she could look after herself! This book was written from multiple point of views like the first four books were, so I was obviously expecting this book to be written the same way lol! This book was mainly written from Annika's point of view, but some chapters were written from Jacen, Karina, Camelia, Stephanie, Geneva, Noah and Marigold's point of views too, so really all the characters had at least one chapter written from their perspective lol! All the different point of views added a lot to the plot and made it more interesting! It allowed for more things to happen in the plot too and helped me connect more with all the characters! I'm also really sad that this book is the final book in this series! I've enjoyed this series and a lot has happened in it, so I'm going to miss it and the characters! I'm really excited that the author is going to be releasing a sort of prequel series though with characters from this series! I can't wait to read it when it releases! The cover for this book also suits it perfectly! The model is perfect for Annika and the image really suits what happens in the book! I love it and it may be my favourite cover of the series! Big thank you to Michelle for an ARC of The Vampire War!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, This doesn't in any way influence my opinion on it.
description
The Vampire War is the last book in the tantalising Vampire Wish series and I'm very sad to see these characters go. Yes there will still be more books set in the world but I will miss Annika and Jacen. The Vampire War began in the exact aftermath of last book, Annika and Jacen had just escaped the jaws of the sea monster and barely survived. They were able to get to the island despite a few kinks. Now the problem is getting to the Holy Grail as there is a lot of deterrents on the way. Annika and Jacen are going to have to be as resourceful and smart as they can be to survive.
Camelia does find out she's indeed pregnant and decides to do whatever it takes to keep the baby and survive. Karina having forgotten Peter puts all her feelings onto Noah, She quickly goes to find him. The incredible fast pace of the story leads through a thrilling ride that has Annika and Jacen battle a wyvern, Annika transforming into something super and a battle for the fate of the whole world.
All the characters have various interesting storylines that all connects. One strength of this series is the slew of supernaturals and it's in full force in The Vampire War, the whole races had to come together to fight against a common enemy.
By the end of this book, a lot has happened framed from the choices of the characters. Jacen and Annika went through a lot in this book but it was quite exciting to read about. The romance is still on point, whether Annika and Jacen's powerful love or the complicated trio that is Karina, Noah and Peter.
The action is amped up yet again and I loved the thrill of it all.
The ending was absolutely beautiful as it gives the characters a nice ending yet without total finality (I sincerely hope it's so they can be visited one day in future books in the next series to come).
Michelle Madow ended this series beautiful and I can ascertain that fans of the series will be pleased at how it all ends. I can't wait for the next book from this uber talented author.

I received a free copy of this book from Michelle Madow the author. Thank you so much Michelle! This is my review.

I was panicking a bit going into this novel, knowing there were so many lose ends to tie up after the penultimate novel.

Michelle has a wonderful way of packing so much action into each page. Each novel in this series keeps getting more complex and it is so worth the ride.

I honestly can't say too much without spoiling the previous novels. But I will say this is my favourite series to date that Michelle has written. There is so much to enjoy about this world, and so much to be fearful of. The fact that the Vale is also in Canada, is pretty much the coolest.

I enjoy that this story is told from multiple points of view. Every character has their issues and their struggles they are working to overcome. My favourite part of this entire series is seeing from the different characters perspectives. Even the characters that had cruel intentions; it was interesting to see their thought processes.

There are more stories with these characters that Michelle is planning to write and I could not be more stoked. I want more of these characters, I want to see their journeys continue. I want to see Annika and Jacen in Avalon; so many ups and downs with their relationship. I want to see Camilia and more of the fae Prince Devyn. I'm excited to see if Noah can fulfill the task that Annika bestows on him to show that he is worthy of being in Avalon.

I'm sure Michelle has more surprises up her sleeve for this spin off series. Honestly, this novel and this entire Vampire Wish series took me to places I was not expecting. This novel was not predictable in the slightest; and that is what I admire about Michelle's writing. This novel was highly entertaining and had me at the edge of my seat the entire time!

I can't wait to see what the future brings for these characters. Fantastic job Michelle, this series is extraordinary. I would highly suggest this series to anyone who enjoys fast paced action, complex characters, nail biting intense moments, romantic entanglements, twists throughout the novel, and a very satisfying conclusion to this main series.

Congrats Michelle!

The Vampire War was a great ending to The Vampire Wish series.

Lots of action and quite a few character revelations, the deep soul searching who-the-heck-am-I type revelations.

Finally the outcome we readers wanted for Annika and Jacen. They definitely had to work for it.

I will say I was sad for Noah though, but according the blurb at the end, maybe we won't have to be sad for him for long.

Great ending - with the option to tell another story. The only thing I don’t like is the amount of people who tell the story. I can’t always read a full book in one sitting and the changing of characters can get confusing. But I enjoyed the story and the way it ended.

Another page-turning read from Michelle Madow. This concludes the Vampire Wish series; though I am excited to hear that there is a spinoff in the works which I'm hoping picks up where this one left off. Thank you, Michelle, for the review copy. It is the best book in the series, which I read in one sitting! Action-packed, epic conclusion and a happy ending for Jacen and Annika, which we know matter the most since they are the stars in this series. Those who love Noah will be happy, too, as the Angel Trials series is completed and can be read immediately. Finger crossed, he will have his HEA too.

When I read about Camile running into Peter in Haven, one funny thing was that I'd completely forgotten about who he was, and I thought he was Peter Pan! Why not, eh? This series was mashed up with other supernatural beings such as Vampires, Angel, Werewolves, Faeries, Mages, Wyvern, and even have the Aladdin vibe! In the next series, I hope I'll get to read more supernatural creatures!

First of all, I just want to say thank you to Michelle Madow for giving me an ARC of this book to read in exchange for an honest review. No compensation was given, offered, or taken to alter the opinion.

The Vampire War is the fifth and last book in the Vampire Wish series. This series has been a roller coaster of cliffhangers, shocking twists and turns, action, supernatural characters, drama, excitement, and romance. A lot has changed for Annika since being kidnapped by vampires to become a blood slave in the Vale in The Vampire Wish. As with all of Michelle Madow's books, the writing flowed and it was so easy to read. I had it finished in no time because I just couldn't put it down! I think Vampire War was a great conclusion and while I'm sad that the Vampire Wish series is over now, I was excited to find out that there will be a spinoff series, The Angel Trials, coming in 2018! Bring on the new year!

Find the Holy Grail. Win the war. Save the world.

A lot has changed for Annika since being kidnapped by vampires to become a blood slave in their hidden kingdom of the Vale. Not only has she learned she’s a Nephilim—a race that’s supposedly extinct—but she’s found herself on a dangerous quest for the Holy Grail. Luckily, she has the vampire Prince Jacen by her side, and the two of them feel ready for anything—especially now that they trust each other more than ever.

But finding the Grail is only the beginning. Because when Annika learns that a demon is leading a pack of wolves to war against the vampires, she must stop him before it’s too late. If she can’t, he’ll open a Gate to Hell… and the world as she knows it will be lost forever.

Is it over? I don’t want this series to come to an end. I know that the characters aren’t real, and yet I feel like I am saying goodbye to long time friends. I got to know Annika, Jacen, Noah, Karina. I felt as I went along on journey, faced their struggles along with them. To me, they were real. A part of me wanted to see how it would end, but there was another part of me that didn’t want reach that last page, knowing that I would have say goodbye. As I mentioned before, I have read few of MICHELLE MADOW novels and I love them all. However, Vampire Wish is unlike any of the other books that she written, and the story, I couldnt help but fall in love with it. Each chapter, each book had me falling in love story more. That’s one of reasons I read it so fast. I couldn’t seem to be able to stop reading it once I started it. Vampire Wish is one of those series that you won’t be able to forget once you read it, A story that you will end up going back to, I know that I will be returning back to it at some point in the future.

Annika, an angel. I haven’t expected that. Then I haven’t expected an Angel and Vampire together, it’s not type of mix that I ever imagined would be together. However, Jacen and Annika are unique in their own way. The two of them have been through a lot together, and there almost always seemed something that kept on getting in a way, of them being together. Despite that, and what they had go through in order to get the Holy Grail, the two of them were always there for another, always trying to protect each other. I was glad that they finally could be together. I know that THE VAMPIRE WAR is the last book in Vampire Wish series, I can’t help but wonder what is to come for Annika and Jacen next. I know there is so much more they have to face. However I have feeling that as long as they have each other, they can overcome anything.

A beautiful, magical, breathtaking story. I don’t think I have words how much I love this series. MICHELLE MADOW such talented, inspiring writer. Anytime that I read any of books, I feel inspired. That wasn’t any different with Vampire Wish. I can’t wait to read Noah and Raven’s story in THE ANGEL TRIALS . I loved Noah in Vampire Wish and can’t wait what adventure awaits him next. I am not sure if I can wait until March 19 to see what happens. If you love vampires, wolves, angels. The Vampire Wish is a series that you need to pick now. You will be hooked instantly.

Finally, Annika and Jacen are on the same side. They have undertaken a dangerous quest to locate the one thing that can save the world from a demon apocalypse - the holy grail. Can Annika master her new powers in time to prevent an evil demon from rising? Meanwhile, all the other characters in the book must face their own challenges and decide who to ally with in the upcoming war. An epic conclusion to what is hands down one of my favorite vampire series.

What sets this series apart from other entries into the genre is its ability to seamlessly incorporate so many different types of plotlines. What started out as a forbidden romance between a common human slave and a royal vampire morphed into a bachelor-like competition. Somehow an aladdin myth was thrown in when Annika finds the magic ring that allows her to control the most powerful witch who ever lived. The villain who appeared to be the final boss was killed off halfway through the story. There's a side story about making deals with the fae in exchange for memories. Then, when we discover Annika's true nature as a nephilim, it becomes a search for the grail and a war not only between vampires and werewolves, but between the forces of good and the greater demon who wants to take over the world.

Part of this is achieved by the first person account from multiple different characters. Most chapters are told by Annika or Jacen, but in this book the additional characters are given quite a bit more focus. Michelle Madow neatly ties up all the loose ends as the characters enter the next chapter of their lives. Yet still, there is the possibility of other stories remaining to be told within the same world - either as a prequel, more in-depth side story that happens during this series, or a new adventure in the future. I really hope we get to visit this universe again. Absolutely loved it.

I volunteered to review an ARC of this novel.

All good things must come to an end I suppose and this, as this series was a rather great thing, I’m glad Michelle Madow gave it the great ending it deserved.

Warning: no spoilers on this book follow, but there’s no way to not give away things from earlier books.

The Vampire Wish series has, as I noted in a review, been one heck of a wild and crazy ride. It was filled with frustrating cliffhangers (as man oh man did I hate having to wait for each next book) and had shocking twists and turns (I never anticipated it when Annika freaking killed the vamp queen), but the wild adventure is now coming to a thrilling conclusion. Annika is not the victim kidnapped into being a blood slave that we found in book 1. Nope, now we know that she’s one of the supposedly extinct Nephilim. Good thing too, and (very) good thing that she’s finally worked things out with - and trusts - vampire Prince Jacen ‘cause they’re gonna be busy.

- Holy Grail to find? Check.
- Stop the demon led wolf horde that’s going to war against the vampires? Check.

And, Oh yes, make sure this is all done before said demon opens a Gate to Hell, as that will be totally “game over” for everyone.

As I said, a wild and crazy ride, but wow was it ever handled perfectly by the author.

This concluding story addressed everything I needed it to, and did so in grand style. It is an easy book to highly recommend.

Ooooo What am I going to do now!! No more Dark World Series, it just feels so wrong! But it was great. If you like fantasy books and a different type of Vampire and shifter books, then definitely give this series a go. It's originality was the first thing that grabbed me, these are characters with strengths that grow throughout the series. Don't expect your run of the mill Vampire story and plot as you won't find it here. Michelle Madow imagination has created a world that involves nearly every emotion known.. the places are really easy to see in your minds eye, but not to much that it distracts from the storyline. It would make a great Tv series or Film for every book in the series just like Twilight did. You can be filled with relief and tension at the same time, then tears and grief the next. I'm just sad it's come to a conclusion but I suppose everything has to. These books will stick in my mind and be one of thoses series, that when asked for a book recommendation will be the first to leave my lips. To the author Michelle Madow I would like to thank her for sharing her great imagination and talent for writing a fantasy series with the tendency to view or represent things as they really are, alongside, her shading her creativity with us.

As much as I felt happy enough with Jacen and Annika's relationship, I was kinda hoping that the spark between Noah and Karina would be better resolved. It felt... rushed. Bland. Guess that's probably my biggest problem with this book. Everything was smoothly falling into place (I was even overlooking a few plot holes//questions left unanswered) but Karina's ending was not exactly satisfying. She isn't even one of my fav characters here, but I was hoping for something a bit more detailed (or even emotional) in her last pages.

Besides that, Annika (who hardly got on my nerves) made me want to put Noah on my lap and protect him from her harsh words. I mean, yes, he was leading the shifters in a quest to end the world as we know, but this wasn't his fault. Plus is not like he was the only one receiving dreams. How can you doubt a vision you received if many other people from your race start to receive them too? Cut my boy some slack, Annika. He's not bad-intentioned and you know it.

That apart, I really enjoyed the book. Camelia is still on my black list, but I'll giver her a chance to change that. Overall I'm pretty excited to see what happens next. This was quite a quick and good series. I would recommend it.

51 Chapters seems long but

What a fast ride! Daunting to think 51 chapters but you don’t feel it because the read, action, flow and changes going on per character keeps things moving quickly. Stuff happens, Annika gets several huge (good) surprises along with an “Oh crap!” Camilla gets an attitude adjustment. Prince Jacen still remains hot and dreamy. Karina gets peace. And a favorite character add-on Rosella makes a huge impact for a blind psychic Vampire. Love it!
I love how Jacen & Annika story concludes and eager for The Angel Trials to begin. I felt bad for “The First Prophet” wolf shapeshifter Noah and knew he would have a great story to tell. And having him and hot-blooded Raven meet? Explosion! Raven was one of the humans’ the sapphire ring-bounded witch Geneva kidnapped to help Annika win back Prince Jacen. So I eagerly await the upcoming new series, The Angel Trials.

As a brand new blood slave, Annika must survive her dangerous new circumstances—or face death from the wolves prowling the Vale’s enchanted walls. But sparks fly when she meets the vampire prince Jacen. She hates the idea of falling for the enemy, but her connection with the mysterious prince could be the key to her freedom.

The stories are very predictable, and over the top unbelievable...even for paranormal. It is appropriate for YA readers. There was only one curse word in the entire series ,there were two sex scenes (fairly clean, no intimate details other than a mention of the man entering the woman)

The characters were not relatable especially Karina. There were no big reveals and even the main characters lacked passion and depth. I was hoping for a big fight scene at the end but there was none. Camilla was the most interesting character in this story as she plotted and back stabbed her way through the series.

Very good series with this book being the finale. I actually read this one and it's predecessor today after finishing book 3.

I started on this journey with the Faerie Wars books and decided to go back to the beginning. I believe this vampire series is the beginning of the Dark World series. It's very exciting to see the beginnings of things that have come to fruition in Faerie Wars. I'll probably have to go back an re-read the first books of that series again when I'm done here just to cement a few things in my head. Happens when you get older.

This is a fantastic series with wonderful characters you can't help but love and root for. The world building is wonderful, especially if you can allow yourself too see it with your mind's eye. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys this genre. I know the recommended age is YA, but I'm in my mid 60s and I'm thoroughly entertained.

I guess maybe I just did not vibe with this one. It had a decent plot but seemed to focus too much on the things I didn’t care about. Also, how many times did the author repeat the exact words “my angel instinct” over and over again? I honestly lost count but I was sick of it after the third use of the term. I did like the male shifter wolf, he seems interesting. I don’t know it was just sorta meh for me.

Honestly that’s how this whole series had been for me. I’d been hoping for a new favorite cheesy vampire series to love but oh well. I don’t think the stakes (unintentional pun haha) ever felt quite high enough… there was only a couple of moments of decent tension but then they were solved almost right away. Yeah not my favorite. I am a little bit curious about the world now because the world building was somewhat interesting but we’ll see if I get into the next series in the Dark World universe.

Great conclusion to this series. A rollercoaster of an adventure in a new paramormal world of vampires, witches, fae, werewolves and last but not least our heroine Annika , the last known nephilim.
Now reunited with Prince Jacen, Annika has to rid the world of a powerful demon and in order to do that, they have to find the Holy Grail. Their quest will not be easy. Be prepared for twists and turns and fast-paced action.
In the meantime, we find out what other prominent characters are up to as the book is written from different POVS which I really appreciate as a writing device. All the stories are interwoven.
This may seem the end but one of the main characters is going to get his own series. Yay. That's great news. Can't wait!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.

Wow! Epic Conclusion to the Vampire Wish Series

This book is a great conclusion to the adventures and romance between Annika & Jacen. Not only are vampires and wolves involved, but Michelle throws in fae, witches, mages, Nephilium, and angels! It is action packed with lots of twists and turns. It takes you on a thrill ride that doesn’t end when you expect it to. Excellent characters with a great plot that involves secrets, betrayal, lies, spot-on gut instincts, and an amazing quest to find The Holy Grail as the romance between Annika and Jacen develops.

If you enjoy paranormal romances, you’ll love this series! This book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the entire series, in order, for maximum enjoyment. No Cliffhanger and a HEA for Annika & Jacen while introducing Noah’s story in The Angel Trials series! Yay! :)
