I saw this at a gift shop in Tamarindo and knew it would be my next read! It was perfect to take to the beach and to finish on my way home as I dreamed about selling all of our things and moving to Costa Rica! Thank you for sharing your experiences and your fearless sense of adventure with us. It is filled with practical things and lessons learned from a family that has successfully moved from the US to Tamarindo, CR.

Very good - Exactly as presented in the introduction

This is a great way to get a good overview of what you may experience in making a decision to explore going to a different country for an extended period of time. We are exploring alternative living options and will be visiting Costa Rica for a month in a rental property and this has helped get me in the right mindset for living there. As presented in the introduction it’s not an exhaustive guide and it is the personal experiences that I value most. Yes you can spend endless time poking around the internet but this is a great resource for anyone looking to feel what it’s like to experience the adventure.
