With a new development going in on the north end of Sweet Grove, Stephania Perez is desperate to win the plumbing bid for the mom-and-pop plumbing shop she joined when she came to town four years ago. The project would keep the shop open and allow Steph to buy it from the owners who are ready to retire.
Luke Morris is determined to win the bid for Sweet Grove Electric Company as well, and the only friendly face he can find at the announcement meeting is Steph's. Okay, semi-friendly. She's heard a lot of rumors about the handsome electrician, and she doesn't need her wounded heart to get another shock.
When they both win their respective bids and start to work together, sparks fly professionally and personally. Can Luke and Steph make water and electricity play nicely together?

Abuse is abuse, no matter what type that it is- physical, emotional, spiritual, psychological- they are all a form of tearing someone else down in a way that they cannot recover! I am so proud of Ms. Isaacson for opening up a door for this topic to be breached and discussed, woman every day deal with a type of attack such as these and they deserve a voice too. No one should have to live in fear of another human being, no one but God should have that type of power over you.

Luke is an electrician for the town of Sweet Grove. Stephania is a plumber for a mom and pop plumbing company. Both businesses end up getting the bid to work on the new development being built in Sweet Grove. Steph’s had a hard time both personally and professionally. She ended her last relationship with an abuser and moved away from her family because of it. Now, as a female in a “man’s profession” she doesn’t feel she is treated well on the job either. When sparks start flying between Luke and Steph, can she trust him and her heart? Who is sabotaging their worksite? Will Steph ever get the opportunity to be her own boss? Can water and electricity actually get along? This is a great story. Seeing a woman overcome an abusive relationship is always good but seeing her be able to follow her heart with a good man is even better. The character development in this book is wonderful. I love the town of Sweet Grove and all of the people in it. Another great sweet romance by Liz Isaacson. I received an ARC of this book and have voluntarily provided an honest review.
Sigh ... Liz Isaacson does it again! This is a beautiful love story, an enchanting tale of Luke and Steph who share an electrifying chemistry that pulls them irresistibly together as they work through some serious issues. Never one to pull punches, this author delves into the deep subject matter without hesitation, taking the characters through a journey of the heart on their way to a wonderful HEA. This is another sweet, life-affirming story from a true master of the genre. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Love's Spark is the second book in the Sweet Grove Professional series, which is part of First Street Church’s Kindle World. After getting off on the wrong foot, Steph and Luke find common ground and mend the gap. Working on their contracts, they are working around each other a lot and there is push and pull. But when it comes down to it, will they be able to count on each other if trouble comes around? I enjoyed this story, and definitely recommend it.
This was a wonderful love story, although I have to admit that I didn't care for Stephania at first. But the more of her character was revealed, she did become more likeable. Luke's steady personality is a good match for her fiery one. Also, loved the twist in the story.
I loved this sweet romance between Steph and Luke. The plot was engaging, compelling characters, suspense and romance all combine for a good read. I recommend this book for those who love sweet romance.
Sweet Grove is growing, Bids are due for the new housing project. Stephanie Perez is a plumber. Luke is an electrician. Both project managers,m each turn in their respective bids, they win!! Can the sparks between them be contained.
I enjoyed this story, the storyline and characters were well written,. It was great getting to know Luke and Stephania as they are on their journey to love. Received this book free and am giving my honest review. Ms. Isaacson is a great storyteller and will read more of her books

I love Luke. I loved him as the best friend in Love’s Pulse and I love him even more here in his own book. It took a while for me to even like Steph, let alone grow to love her. She’s so prickly, and her overly defensive attitude means she often takes offense when none was meant. I’ve run across a saying that seems to fit here: just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you. And Steph has earned her defensive attitude with good cause. She’s the only woman on a worksite filled with men, doing a job usually reserved for a man, so as a visible minority it makes her an easy scapegoat when things start going sideways. I really enjoyed watching Luke carefully work his way past those pointed defenses and showing Steph that some people genuinely have her best interests at heart. And his big, rambunctious, loving family helps him in that endeavor. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.
Love's Spark is a sweet, clean romance with a different take on female professions. Stephania has to overcome prejudice from the male population with regard to her trading as a plumber, but Luke has no problem with it and in fact admires her strength and determination. When they both win their bids on a housing development, their professional lives keep crossing, but someone is not happy about it. There is a mystery to solve and history to be faced, but Steph is no longer the push-over she once was, and she takes the situation in her stride. The book about a strong woman and the man who loves her is tender and enjoyable without being mushy. It is well written, although I do believe the characters could have been more developed and the sabotage and detective work further developed. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
LOVE SPARKS by Liz Isaacson. Luke grew up in Sweet Grove, so some girls were off limits, they knew to much about him.. Yet, to have a date to take home next Sunday, maybe the name of Stephania. She wouldn't, she thought his cologne was toxic spill. Dinner, he offered again, he'd even shower first. They got the bids, two years at the same project. A date, wanted another and still didn't have her number, or was the emergency number on card hers ? This was an emergency, he wanted another date. At thirty four, maybe he'd have someone to take home, for more than just a Sunday dinner with family. Delightful, this was so much more, it tugs on your heartstrings from the first. Love all of her books, this one was something special to read.
A male electrician and a female plumber win lucrative contracts to provide their services on a new housing development. A celebratory dinner leads to a tentative romance. Luke and Steph make a sweet if fractious couple due to Stephs fiery Latin temperament. This story does show some of the sexism Steph faces as a woman in a mans world, she is the only female contractor bidding for the job at the development.. There is a nice family element to the book in a sweet barbecue scene and with its hint of mystery at the end it is a wholly satisfying read.
Love’s Spark is Liz Isaacson’s books in the First Street Church Kindle Worlds and is full of love and acceptance. Sparks fly between Luke Morris the electrician the Sweet Grove Electric Company working for Saddleback Homes who were building a multi-dollar housing complex that was being built in Sweet Grove. Stephania Perez was the plumber who wanted the bid on the housing complex. They had to work together to solve a mystery and save their business reputation (and theirs), this leads to a romance, building of trust and loyalty.
A delightful story with some intrigue in the mix. After a fiery beginning to their acquaintance on a previous job, Luke and Steph find themselves working the same project again. They both realise there is an attraction and embark on a rocky path that hopefully leads to their Happy Ever After. Thoroughly enjoyable though it doesn’t have the same depth of emotion that I’ve come to love in Liz’s books.
A well-written, interesting romance between a woman plumber and a male electrician. They both won contracts to work on a huge development in Sweet Grove, TX; however, someone is trying to sabotage them and ruin their reputations. I enjoyed the story, especially since the story line was a bit different than so many romances.
Fun book to read! I love the plot with the plumber girl meeting the electricity guy as they work on housing in a small town. It's an unusual scenario, but it totally works. Liz Isaacson just has a way with writing romance...her stories always capture my attention and deliver the sweet romance and the happy ending we all long for. I highly recommend this story, Love's Spark.
This was a great story. A little rivalry, mystery and of course, falling in love. Steph is a strong character a plumber in a man's world, but Luke, an electrician working on the same job, finds a way to show her all men are not alike. I received a complimentary copy and I am giving a review voluntarily.
Luke and Stephania are bidding on jobs in construction. Luke is an electrician and Steph is a plumber. Read and see how they solve the mystery of sabotage. The author deals with real life issues and turns them into something good.
Luke and Stephania are a cute couple. There is a mystery to solve and of course some angst between them. I love this author's writing. A sweet, clean romance with real life issues. I really appreciate the Christian element.
Stephania has been hurt in the past and now she has bid on a large project. She and a fellow contractor named Luke will have to work together for several months. Will they learn to trust each other as things start to happen to the project?
As always, this is a great book! Because of rumor, they don't get along so well, but after working together for a while they learn to like and respect each other. From there they learn to love each other. I would recommend this book to anyone who reads romance books!
I adore Luke. He is thoughtful and patient. Steph has a temper that is quick to ignite, but she is not afraid to apologize when she is wrong. A small mystery to solve and an abusive ex. A sweet read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
This was a really fun story. It's always great to see a strong female character. I loved these two together. They had great chemistry. This was a sweet, clean romance.
