In ‘Mystic Alpha Cowboy,’ you will first meet Jade who has been put on the spot by her father when he arranges her marriage to an older man because he no longer whats to support her. Jade goes along with the plan, but she is a BBW and is not confident her new husband will find her attractive. Clyde, her husband to be, is a recluse who lives alone on his Montana ranch. He instantly falls for Jade, but he has a past and doesn’t believe he is the right man for her.
Book Two
In ‘Secluded Billionaire Cowboy,’ you’ll find Tess standing at the front door of her Colorado family ranch wondering why a sexy billionaire from New York has come to visit. When she discovers Clay is there to make a deal to purchase the ranch she is angry but can’t deny she wants him in a way no other man has had her before. Does she stand a chance even though she is inexperienced and lives with three over protective brothers? Clay’s a playboy, and is used to getting what he wants. He find’s Tess’ naïvety sexy as hell and intends to have Tess and the ranch for his own… one way or another!
Book Three
In ‘A Distant Heart,’ Rachel is rehearsing her high school valedictorian speech when her hunky sweetheart interrupts her. She is surprised when he kisses her but stalks off in a huff after he discovers she has decided to go to New York City before continuing on to college. Kent is furious that she plans to move away, leaves town and joins the military. Eight years later he returns to Wyoming, but he is not the same happy go lucky guy he was before. After discovering Rachel never left and stayed behind to help her ailing father run their family ranch, he decides to pay her a visit. Can Kent overcome his PTSD to give them a second chance?

This is a wonderful collection of standalone cowboy romances. I read each one separately, and was thrilled to see them in a boxed set. Ms. Steedly is a gifted author and she brilliantly brings her cowboy heroes and their lady loves to life in these sexy, sassy love stories.
Mystic Valley was the first I read, and it has a unique premise. Jade's father arranges her marriage to Clyde, but he tells her a different story than what he tells Clyde. There's plenty of heat between these two as they figure out both her father's plan and their undeniable attraction to each other.
The second story, Secluded Valley, tells the story of Tess and Clay. Tess is a country girl through and through, which fascinates Clay to no end. Their attraction is white-hot right from the start, even though Tess has been so sheltered she really doesn't quite know what she's getting herself into. Clay wants to leave his womanizing ways back in New York and he's more than willing to teach Tess what she needs to know. There's plenty of tension, fun banter, sexy times, and secrets revealed on the way to a surprising HEA.
The final story, A Distant Heart, is a second-chance romance between Kent, returning to his cowboy roots after serving in the military, and Rachel, the girl he's always loved but lost when she decided to go to college right after high school. It's nicely paced with quite a bit of drama and plenty of sexual tension that forces them both to examine their true feelings for each other.
If you're looking for a great selection of western romances, this set was written for you. Each is a standalone but they go very nicely together for a super reading experience. I purchased each book individually and chose to consolidate my reviews for the box set.

This is a box set of 3 standalone stories about cowboys and the women who make them better men!
Mystic Valley - This story is about Jade and Clyde. Jade’s father makes a deal with Clyde and Jade agrees to the arranged marriage as she is lead to believe her father will not provide for her any longer. Clyde is an older man who has been living in the country by himself for some time. There is doubt by each of them that are not right for the other. Their chemistry and attraction between them that was what made this story wonderful.
Secluded Valley - This story is about Clay and Tess. Tess is a country girl that’s been living on her family ranch with her 3 brother’s. Clay is from NYC who offers to buy her ranch! No way does Tess want to sell. Clay is a man who gets what he wants. There is something about Tess that Clay can not walk away from. Will determination from Clay win Tess’s heart?
A Distant Heart - This story is about Rachel and Kent. This is my favorite of the 3 storiess! Kent tries to declare his love for Rachel and unknown to her she lets him know she’ll be leaving for NY before college. Kent being a good guy walks away and leaves for the service for 8 years. When he returns he is shock to find Rachel never left as she stayed to care for her sick father. The way these two act around one another is beautiful and frustrating. Can they find a way to be together?
