Three thousand years after the Endwar, humanity has dragged itself back from the brink of extinction with grit, determination and the might of the Champions. Robotic avatars of their city-states, Champions are fusions of the most advanced technology and a heroic human soul, designed to withstand the mutagenic dangers of the Sunder.
For the imperialistic, warmongering nation of Korvosa, Champions are apex weapon and propaganda tool all in one. The only problem is their latest Champion, Vengeful Crystallline Hawk 45C, has the soul of a diehard patriot loyal to one of the smaller nations Korvosa conquered two centuries ago. With the body of a bombshell supermodel crossed with walking tank and a head full of democratic ideals, Cee could be the ultimate threat to Korvosa or their ultimate prize.
Torn between past and future, Cee would be in trouble. If she wasn't an ass-kicking, super-strong, beamsword-slinging, sexy as sin Champion...
Mixing space opera, steampunk and science fantasy, Cadet is the 50,000 word first volume of the Worldshard trilogy. Sexy, funny and out of this world, it is sure to blow your mind.
A mysterious and powerful dragon dwelling in a large, possibly misty mountain, Dragon Cobolt has a massive pile of gold and a yen for writing. Writing and putting his/her (being a shapeshifter has its advantages) stories out in the marketplace since late 2016, Dragon Cobolt is just glad to entertain.
He sometimes masquerades as a humble human, and uses the facade that Dragon Cobolt is merely an internet persona to throw adventuring parties off his tail.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
When I chose this book thought it would be along the lines of “Deadpool” a bit over the top with larger than life characters. Took a bit to get into the storyline. Once I figured it out some of it didn’t really make a lot of sense. Didn’t understand why Cee was being paraded around naked for so long. Yes I know she is a construct made of clay but she does have a human soul. So didn’t quiet understand the purpose of that unless it was to embarrass or as a form of control.
The book took a rambling approach to getting to the point of the plot. Cee seemed to be in a perpetual state of arousal and was just looking for anything to take the edge off. It was like she couldn’t have a single thought unless it revolved around sex, kind of like a teenage boy.
Then we would get flash backs to her previous lives and try to put all of the moving pieces in their places there was a lot of rereading to get the picture firmly implanted in my head. Then the outfit is something most definitely from some young adolescent males mental imagery. The story after a while just seemed to be someone’s dream that kept skipping around as it went off on one tangent after another with a sexy star in a skimpy outfit that had no inhibitions about having sex with whomever, wherever and whenever.
