The Foxx Agency is a collection of four romantic shorts, featuring all of the workplace drama you've probably experienced and a little bit that you hopefully haven't.
Mel & Dre: Mel played TOO shy! Like babygirl OWN your ish! She really needed to just live her life. I'm glad Dre wasn't trying to let her get away.
Destin & Nyah: Nyah was shy, but she was out going once you got to know her. I was glad to see Destin call her out on her disappearing acts.
Perry & Zara: Zara wrong AF for not telling Perry about ole boy. I get why she didn't, but boo don't ever put ya man in that type of position and situation.
Jalen & V: V played Jalen and I didn't like it not one bit smdh but I was happy with their ending.
I enjoyed volume 1, but I REALLY enjoyed this one, having the stories relate to one another. The final story was a little anticlimatic to me, BUT it did fit in with the theme of the book. Overall, I would highly recommend.
A book full of shorts, which was supposed to be romantic, but missed the mark. I mean the shorts were short as hell. This whole book is maybe 50-60 pages. I just didn’t see it as romantic at all, but more about what what’s happening at the Foxx Agency.
I might be in the minority when I say, I love novellas... I know, sweet short stories are fun.. I liked the collection of characters and getting to know each of them. B Fel, I'm going to keep an eye on you for the future. Sweet!
I love short stories and these were all so good! I really enjoyed how they were interconnected and all told a different piece of the story of the Foxx Agency and it's leader. This was a fun read!
I'm not one to go in for short stories but I thought this was great. I love the way all the characters flow together seamlessly and then each couple had a story. Kudos job well done.
