Leave Me

Second in the No Matter What Series

April

Office romances rarely work out, but I didn’t listen to the little voice that tried to warn me. Now I’m stuck at a job I love with a man who no longer wants me. I tried to love enough for the both of us when family, the business, and life created obstacles we couldn’t have prepared for. It wasn’t enough. He pushed me away and changed into someone I didn’t recognize. I left for the sake of my sanity, but I’m going crazy without him.

Tim

I’m reminded every day of what I’ve lost when she walks through that door. My family, the woman I love, and the ability to control my anger. There is no hope of ever getting it back. I’m who I am because I’ve spent every part of my soul helping others. I had nothing left to give her. She was right to leave me.

Ages 18+ due to adult situations and violence.

About the author

B.L. Mooney

15 books99 followers
B.L. Mooney started writing when the voices and storylines in her head ran out of room. They were getting too cramped and neither B.L. nor the characters could take it anymore, so she did the only thing she could do—she made room. She always knew she wanted to write, but vowed to make time for it later. Now that she’s made time for writing, most everything else falls to the wayside. That seems to suit the characters that keep popping up just fine.

B.L. lives in the Midwest and her other talents include in-demand cookies, a very dry sense of humor, and stealth eavesdropping. Some mannerisms, attitudes, or twists come from random sentences picked up while passing by strangers. So speak up the next time you have something to gossip about. You never know, it may just end up on the pages of the next book you read.

It could be perfect but I did not enjoyed. April and Hank were to handsy (yes I know Hank is gay, but come on, they acted too intimate for my taste) imagine Tim with a lesbian friend and be too touchy and intimate just because se is a homosexual friend, so no. Too much drama, too angsty, too much Hank&April relationship.

Oh, Tim & April! I didn't connect with Tim as much as his brother Brody (I LOVE BRODY!) but I did end up loving him all the same. He has his head up his butt a bit, but when he's good, he's very good! : ) And I adore April!

Their relationship has some bumps, and their story is very well told! I really do enjoy this series & am planning another re-read! : )
