It was only supposed to be a blind date... Even though my tech-company made me a billionaire by 25, I still feel empty inside. I've wined and dined countless women only to love 'em and leave 'em. Until I meet Madison on a blind date. She has the sexiest body but she won't let me touch her. Her smart mouth drives me f*cking crazy. Keeps me coming back for more. I'm going to prove I'm worth her time. Especially when the owner of the art gallery where she works starts stalking her. I'll be there to protect her. No matter what.
I wasn't too fond of Zach. I didn't feel his connection with the Heroine. Kind of just felt like he was still the nasty playboy who wanted to reach deflowering 10 virgins.
Long and boring. I felt like this story could've been told in about 25 chapters. Zach was a pretentious A hole! Why was the limo needed all the time. It was kind of ridiculous. He and Hudson are gross. Zach only agreed to go out with Madison so that he could make her his 10th virgin but I guess it acceptable behavior because he fell in love and she never found out about it. I only read it because the synopsis said it involved stalking. Yeah not even close. Madison was kind of wimpy and did not have none of the smart mouth the synopsis implied.
DNF This book was incredibly boring. The characters were not all that deep, the female was not this sassy vixen as described in the blurb, and the boss was a creepy control freak who doesn't really seem to have a romantic interest in her as implied. At about a third into the book, I figured out that the blurb was really more interesting than the meandering and uninteresting plot. I can't believe it got so many 4 stars!
I really liked the characters and story line. Playboy Zach meets his match on a blind date with an innocent Madison. Both have been burned in the past by a cheating love. He’s a billionaire and she’s an up and coming artist. He falls for her even though his goal was another notch on his bedpost, love em and leave em. He changes and becomes a likable guy, treats her great, falls in love. She on the other hand is more cautious in letting down her guard and falling for him. HEA
Great storyline that pulled me in right from the beginning and kept me hooked all the way through to the end. The book is fast-paced, the writing is fluid and easily read in one sitting. It is a standalone book.
Well honestly who doesn't love a story about a sweet billionaire falling in love. I really enjoy the added suspense in the story. Overall it was a sweet love story.
