It’s been months since Dean escaped Damian’s clutches only to discover, on his return, that he had lost a friend in the process. Months of not knowing how to help, or what to do with himself in the wake of a night that’s haunted him ever since, have left him confused and unsure as to his usefulness to the pack.
However, when a mysterious dream comes to him, he finds a new purpose and direction. Organizing a search party for Talon, and the other stolen shamans, will turn out to be only the beginning of his new adventure. The destination never proves to be as important as the journey, and with Apollo, Dante, Mikael, and Katarina at his side, Dean soon learns the truth of that as they head into the heart of a mountain.
In the depths of the mountain, Dean will face his own personal demons and the secrets buried deep within the soil of the earth. What begins as a rescue mission in the heart of enemy territory quickly becomes a test of his wits and valor. What he finds will alter everything he thought he knew, and bring him face to face with new mysteries and terrors.

Book 5, Mikael and Dean have a mission ! Dean the Druid/farmer and Alpha Mikael Me-kell are getting stronger as mates,
but Dean is sad. Talon and other Shamans have been stolen by bad Alpha Damien, plus Dean’s powers are a slower process than he would like. There is training, Mr. and Mrs. Williams discussion, and then, Mikael wakes Dean from a horrible nightmare that puts Dean into action. A mission is set to rescue Talon, but before they go, Dean must marry the Pack ! Dean, Mikael, Dante, Apollo and Katerina will be going, and we see their hike.
There is the mountain, full of tunnels from mining and the evil within. Damien shows more of his abusive ways, Deans powers gain magnitude, and the power is extraordinary and destructive. Our team escapes with one more person, 15 yr. old Silun, who helped with Apollo’s injury. Back at The Grove, no rest is found, because the various Packs are in chaos. Dean and Mikael have been away from the farm long enough. What will happen to the crystals ?
I’m excited to find out. I recommend this series. Enjoy !
Noah Harris’s new book, “The Carpenter’s Revelation”, Book 5 is phenomenal!! If you haven’t been reading this series I highly suggest you start soon because this is one of the best wolf-shifter paranormal books I’ve read in quite some time.
The MCs, mated couple Mikael and Dean, go on another mission after a terrifying nightmare-vision that Dean experiences. But not before Dean has to convince Alpha Samuel that they have to save the shamans that had been kidnapped. Dean has to save his new friend Talon.
Mikael is 100% beside Dean in this and trusts his mate with his life. Kat, Apollo, and Dante accompany Mikael and Dean in their search to save the shamans and later Dante is none too happy to hear this trip is all based on a nightmare Dean had and not an actual plan has been set.
The winter has passed and spring has arrived and with it Dean’s powers to make plants grow increase, but he hasn’t been able to control whatever it is he has for power. During this mission and being outside of The Groves ancient trees, Dean finds he can communicate with the trees and forest even better than before. In fact, he hears the forest so well that their alarmed state sets off Dean and alerted his pack to an attack from Damien’s werewolves.
One thing I love about Noah’s writing is how vivid the fights and attacks are in his books and of course the hot sex Mikael and Dean get into, but to get back to Noah’s writing he grips me with every word and I find I’m gritting my teeth at intense times.
I swear “Trouble” is Dean’s middle name. The man can get himself into situations that are plain horror and terrifying. The group had to take the very long way around to Damien’s lair due to the attack and Damien now aware of their presence. They traveled over a mountain when an unlikely “earthquake” happened.
The mountain started to spit apart in some places and making fissions and crevices. Dante slipped over one of the cliffs edge only to have Dean quickly try to save Dante by grabbing his wrist as he danged over the deep, dark crevice below. Another quake and Dante released Dean’s wrist but Dean didn’t and they both fell into the darkness.
Neither man wanted to be in each other presences alone but that was the breaks. It’s while Dean’s in the cave he meets Damien and Damien’s world is a challenge with Dean’s presence.
I don’t want to go into any detail about this part of the story except it’s the best part. It’s intense, intriguing and questions from previous books get some answers. Dean has to make some really tough life and death choices and the pace of the book kept me engaged that I couldn’t put the book down until I finished it.
Noah leaves us with Dean’s gut feeling that things are not over and his mate believes him. For me, I’m excited there will be another book coming out. Maybe it’ll come out as quickly as this one did. I can’t say this enough about this series, but if you love wolf shifter stories with a mystery and true mates, I would highly recommend reading this series. It only gets better with each book. I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & I am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
I loved The Carpenter's Revelation by Noah Harris. It's the fifth book in the Family Secrets series. This was an action-packed addition, and I couldn't put it down. I also enjoyed the couple of hot scenes between Dean and Mikael. Dean makes some new friends and loses another friend and is learning to hone his druid abilities. Mikael is his wonderful supportive self. Dean, Mikael, Dante, Katherine, and Apollo will go on a quest to find and rescue the kidnapped shaman from Damien and Damien will get what is coming to him, or did he? I can't wait to read the next book in the series to find out for sure. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Summary:
"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
Dean and Mikael have continued on with their lives determined to overcome the past trauma's that Dean endured. Mikael's unwavering love and acceptance was a big part in helping Dean. That is before the nightmares started leaving Dean with the feeling of impending doom. Unlike most people, Mikael knows that Dean's abilities has a Druid leave him open to experiences that go beyond even what other paranormal beings experience and he stands by him even against his father their alpha if necessary. Part of the dream leaves Dean determined to rescue the missing shamans who are the mercy of Damian, a dangerous werewolf whose ultimate goal is as of yet unknown. Dean, Mikael and their friends embark on a journey that is as dangerous as it is uncertain.
Dean must learn to face his fears and dig deep inside if they are to have a chance to survive. This fast paced story took off from the start allowing the reader to to experience the danger, fear and love along with the characters as the book unfolded. This was the perfect next edition to the series. While revealing many secrets some were left hidden leaving the reader in suspense to see what could happen next.
I can’t imagine how terrifying it must have been for the shamans who had been kidnapped by Damian to face the corruption that so twisted Nox. I actually cried at the end of this book when Dean was able to meet up with Talon again and had to face what Damian had done to all of them. And for as crafty and sly as Damian was, Dean was right that his plan was just pure stupidity - not even really a plan at all, just a vague hope.
This book was an emotional roller-coaster for me. I was so sad and hopeless for the shamans, so disgusted by Damian, so happy for Dean & Mikael and their pack, so concerned for Lucille, and so very scared of anything named The Destroyer. After finishing this story, I feel a bit melancholy and yet hopeful that Dean is coming into his power at just the right time - like because The Destroyer has come into play, it’s counter-force is working to put things in place to successfully confront it’s influence. Maybe not destiny, or fate, but more like nature requiring balance and an equal but opposite force in all things. Either one may triumph, but the stage for them to be pitted against each other has to first be set.
I can’t wait to see where the future installments will take Mikael & Dean and us.
I think every time I have written a review for a book in this series I have said I think it's the best so far! Well I'm going to say it again this book is totally captivating and refuses to let you go until the last word. I don't know weather the fact Dean and Mikael have been so prominent throughout this series and therefore the reader feels a bond with them. Whatever the reason I wish I could give this book more than five stars, I was locked on to ever word and couldn't put it down. Mikael and Dean set out to rescue Talon and the others from Damian under the leadership of Dean. This book shows the journey to rescue Talon but also the journey as a group and with Dean as part of the pack. It's fascinating how the author also shows the person journey Dean makes within himself and with nature. There are some action scenes that keep you turning the page and some very hot scenes that curl your toes. I can't recommend this book in fact this series more strongly. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
This book raises the bar for the whole Family Secrets series. The plot is exciting and well paced with a sprinkling of perfectly timed humour that had me laughing out loud; the main characters, Dean and Mikael, are deeply and emotionally engaging as well as being hot; the supporting characters are so well written they’re as engaging as the main ones; the baddies are really bad, I hated them, and the writing is superb.
Dean is recovering from being held captive in book four, until he has a dream which results in the action being catapulted into an adventurous journey the ups and downs of which kept me on the edge of my seat right to the end. There is some violence and a bit of horror as well as the usual heat and romance, but it all adds up to great adventure. This book simply has a bit of everything and all written with Noah Harris’ brilliant sense of style, pace and timing. This series is a must buy. Note, I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Will Dean and Mikael find and save the missing shamans? November 27, 2017 Format: Kindle Edition A suspenseful adventure continues in this latest installment in the Carpenter 👬 shifter series. More than the immediately preceding books, this one focuses on Dean and a few shifter companions and villains and less on Mikael's shifter community and family. Werewolf shifter Mikael and his human partner Dean once again get caught up in a violent shifter war as they seek to rescue shamans taken prisoner by the Grove's power-hungry enemy Damien and Dean is struggling to discover more about the extent of his druidic powers. There's some steam, but mostly tense moments between bouts of fighting and struggling to stay alive! I found it a bit slow going at times, but the pace picks up in the second half and barrels through to an adrenaline-filled conclusion.
I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Well, another heart stopper by this author in the series of "Family Secrets." Mikael and Dean are back on the farm and Dean is suffering from PTSD from the capture by Damien in the last book. Unable to talk about it to anyone, he suffers in silence while Mikael stands by and gives his support. A dream later and The two men, Katrina, Apollo, and Dante go in search of Talon and the other shamans. A mountain, tunnels, earthquakes, crystals, capture, injury and violence lead the readers on a wild ride to the finish. Some things are accomplished and some things are unsuccessful. A young man is rescued and we are left with the knowledge that an important character dies... or did he? Is this the end of this series or are we left hanging by our fingernails waiting for the next one? I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC book.
Noah weaves a tale that will keep you on edge until the last word!
If there's anything I dislike more in a M/M romance story it's how a lot of other authors seemingly need sex to fill the end of most chapters, as if they are simply placed there for the sake of reaching a word count. Noah Harris as usual doesn't toss in a sex encounter just because a new chapter is ending. The love between Dean and Mikael is a slow burning ember that sustains it's heat throughout the entire book without feeling forced. If you're looking for answers as to what happens in the story, all I'll say is Dean is walking face first and neck deep into trouble and dragging his mate along for the ride but this time it's with Samuel's blessing!
Being back with mikael and dean in the Carpenter's revelation was so intense I loved it
The scenes in the next chapter of mikael and deans journey were intense powerful and wow that have your heat pounding in your chest and make you go wow and please no and you are excited to turn to the next page to see what's going to happen next
From page one Noah Harris gives you such a page turner of a story that has you hooked and refusing to put the book down
The story was so amazing and perfect iam really looking forward to what's next for these wonderful men and their pact

I could not wait for this book to come out. Noah told me it was coming out on the 17th, so I was ready. The problem with this book is it is so vague with all that's going on. Dean talks to Samuel and and he agrees that they need to send a search party to the mountains to find the tunnels Dean saw in his dream. Dean knows it involves the missing shamans. Even if I told you what happened, you wouldn't know any more, because that is how vague the story is. I love all the people in the book, but if it doesn't get better, I'm going to be sorry for the time I have invested in these books.
Another wonderful addition to this spectacular series. I love how Dean and Mikael's relationship and love is so strong and enduring. I really like watching them develop together and seeing how they face challenges together. Can't wait to see what comes next! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This is the fifth book in this series and I get lost between the pages.. Mikael loved Dean with a wonderful passion they support each other completely. They work extremely hard together now with Dean's ability to understand his dreams. As a Druid there is more understanding as to what can or could happen.
Book 5, was to me the 2nd best of the the books. I guess because we got to see how much Dean grew. The best was book 1. You got to meet a feisty Dean, and a somewhat shy Mikael. The growth from the two of them individually and as a couple was amazing. The sass and sarcasm is off the charts and that's even with the new guy towards the end, Silun.
I walked those dark tunnels with Dean as he made himself go deeper into the cold doom that loomed before him . I was there when he was forced to kill again and when he was left with the hard decision to leave the shamans behind to their death . I felt it all thanks to Noah Harris great skill and talent .
True to his multi book style, Noah leaned more into the plot and action than the spice. Although the book didn’t lack spice in unexpected places, this books was filled with heart break, deeper foreshadowing and deeper connection for the main characters.
It’s not over til the werewolf howls and this story is far from its happy ending.
this is my favorite so far of this series.. oh man.. so many emotions.. so many things going on.. feelings.. love.. anger.. sadness.. so many things i wanted to go into the kindle and hurt someone lol.. it was amazing and the writing was superb. i loved it and am glad i got to review it
Another journey and battle for Dean and Mikael. Dean's druidic powers are increasing and Damien is still on the loose. They know their time is running out. Dean is awesomely honest and is settling in so well. There were a few things left undone though. I voluntary reviewed a copy of this book.
So that was full of adrenaline. Had me going from start to finish. This has been great for character development. I loved the newest character. Looking forward to see what happens to him. This has been a very enjoyable ride. Thanks.
Like I’ve said before, this series just gets better and better! Here we have Dean coming into more of his powers, and boy are they a doozy! I’m sooooo looking forward to reading more books in this series! Highly recommended!
I love this series and can't get enough. The characters are written so well that it makes you feel like you know them. I love the intrigue, action, sweet moments, and hot interludes.
What do you mean "the story's over"!! There's more unfinished business to see to. You have more, right? This is a great story line e and I'm waiting for more... Thank you for writing these books!
The Carpenter's Revelation (Family Secrets Book 5).
