They met when Eve was 15.. it was a dance at her sisters wedding and he was working for her family informing her her father was to soft.... now she's over 18 and her entire family is dead thanks to him (he didn't kill them but the group he was with did) the other family he is working for he was a contract killer.. he didnt care for her family since they treated her like shit but he saved her made her his and treated her like the queen she is suppose to be treated.. he also got her revenge against the family who order the hit on her family to show his woman her he would do anything for her... very fast pace.. easy read.. just something to pass the time..

My rating: 2 1/2 stars
What I liked: I liked how Vadim(H) went after the guys that ordered the kills and how he saved Eve(h).
What I didn’t like: The book had some errors that took me out of the story.
***Major Spoilers/ Details/Triggers: h meets H at her sister’s wedding. H is a hired killer and likes the h. h’s family is part of the mafia. Her family treat her like she is a nobody and spoil the sister. The sister picks who she wants to marry and by doing so makes another mafia mad. At the wedding H talks to the h and they share a kiss. 5 years later the H goes to the h’s house with others to kill her family. They kill them all except for the h because that was the deal the H made with the bad guy. H takes h and they get together. H tells bad guy he killed her. Later he goes and kills the bad guy. HEA with the H helping the FBI and they both living a normal lifestyle.
Descriptive Sex: Yes
Final thoughts: This was a quick read. If it would get an editor this book would be rated higher for me but unfortunately 2 1/2 stars.

This author seldom to disappointed me. That's why she is one of my favourite author. I always want to read mafia romance story but i never find any books that suit me, then i tried to read her works and i was happy. She have created aspect of suspense, romance and erotic blended together beautifully.

Short. Very short. Not worth the money.
2.99 for a 20 minute read. It wasn't even that good. No detailed, just wham, bam, we're in love plot. Never buying from this author of all the books are like this. Book ended at 80% on top of that. Wow

This was a free download and I didn't read the blurb before cracking it open to realize it was Mafia... I am one of those rare and elusive creatures that literally can, not, stand, anything mafia related so that was a nope for me. 🤦🏼♀️

The h put herself down by making derogatory comments about her weight. I wish there was more from the H about how he became obsessed with the h. Plus, they get together WAY too quickly.

Eve is the daughter of Charles Valentin, a dangerous monster. The story starts five years ago with Eve at her older sister, Clarissa’s wedding. She’s always considered herself a poor copy of her sister and so has her family. Everyone knows who Vadim Solonik is and everyone fears the contract killer. Charles Valentin had a peace treaty with Gustav Petrovic (a rival family) which included Clarissa marrying marrying Gustav’s son. Unfortunately for the Valentin family that didn’t happen because Clarissa fell in love with someone else. FAST FORWARD TO PRESENT :
Eve’s mom once said to her “ALL MEN ARE MONSTERS UNDERNEATH, EAGER TO SHED BLOOD, TO BE REDUCED TO THEIR PRIMAL URGES.” For five years the Valentin family was slowly destroyed, piece by piece and eventually Eve was the only one left alive. She was purposely spared so that she could be given as a gift/payment for Vadim. This was a really good story and I loved Vadim, my only problem was some parts were a little confusing like who exactly McDaniel was.
