Summary:
This book starts off tearing at the heartstrings when saying that a dog was left all alone in a field because the farmers didn’t want her. The puppy was scared and she kept seeing big objects with bright lights going passed her.One of these objects stopped and it turns out she was found by a volunteer that was hopefully going to rescue her, but once rescued she was put in an airplane. This airplane had tons of other dogs on it, eventually the plane landed and the dog went outside. She was greeted by a little girl who would be taking her to her house become a part of her family. For an activity you could have students write down a list of emotions that the puppy had before being found and after being found.

I love a good book with a great lesson. This book is all about dogs.

A dog is found all alone on the side of a road. He is hungry, scared, and confused. With some reassurance, he is cared for and taken to find a new home. While going through the process, all the dog is thinking about is being loved and cared for.

What I loved about this book, is it teaches kindness. Sometimes we need to stop and think about the other person, or dog, in this case in order to help out.

Another part I loved, this book ends off leading to the next book. A great way to keep the kids wanting to read more.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine and were in on way influenced by outside sources. I am a professional blogger at Little Lady Plays

what a charming rescue animal story for pet lovers!

I thought this was a very touching love story of a dog who had been with beautiful storyline and illustrations as well and a font that I thought was well-written. I know that this was specially written for those ages 1-10 and in grades P-6 yet I think that others older too may enjoy as well who loves to read happy endings of a dog story too. I received this ebook for free using KU, in return, here now is my honest review. Super job author and illustrator! By Sunny.

For fans of cute puppies and animal rescue.

The puppy’s owners apparently don’t want her. They leave her in a box by the side of the road. But a nice lady happens by and promises to take the puppy to a very special place. They meet up with some other dogs, and all of them are put on a plane and taken to new owners.

The puppy is the last to get an owner. She is afraid nobody will want her. But at last, she meets her special person and is given a name. But she is not home yet.

Plenty of cute, colorful illustrations.

This is a wonderful children's book! Colorful, fun illustrations that are so enjoyable to look at while reading the adorable story. A good lesson for little ones that animals have feelings too. Can't wait to read the sequel. My grandson loved the story and kept saying puppy, puppy, puppy while smiling big! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

ADORABLE, story was great, but to be continued, which is a wee bit annoying, but hey.
Illustrations are FABULOUS.
Story began in a very upsetting manner, poor little abandoned girlie.. but it has a HEA. Hope thats not a spoiler.

Abandoned on the side of the road, a puppy is rescued and given a new home. The first book in “The Adventures of Ms. Addie Pants" is the story of how Annie and Addie meet. If your child loves books about dogs and friendship, pick this one up today.

What a beautiful idea for a children's series. The illustrations are gorgeous and eye-catching. Most importantly, my four-year-old loves dogs and adventures so this was an obvious home run during nightly story time. Highly engaging and very readable.

This book had me in tears at parts like where Addie didn't think she was going to be chosen. Though it still had a happy ending. Children will love this book as they follow Addie's adventure to finding a forever friend and home.
