The one woman in the world he vowed never to touch.

His best friend’s little sister won’t leave him alone. But once an oath is broken, what does a man have left?

And why is it that the one opponent he can’t beat happens to be the one that lives inside his head?

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

Wow! I loved Declan (he is a total sweetheart). Then I fell in love with Zander (Ms. Torrey made me fall for him with his story as I didn't think I would). But man Blaze is a heart-wrenching story. As a red-head, I too was bullied in school and suffered from being a hot-tempered person. I just wanted to put my arms around Blaze and hug him. From the Prequel and the first two books, I didn't know what to think about Blaze. He was a total mystery. As you get into his story, you just feel like a knife is stabbed into your heart and twisted. Thankfully Ms. Torrey had a strong-willed heroine picked out for him. Leila was the perfect woman. They shared a history, she is his BBF's little sister. This story will grab you in right from the beginning. The plot, and sub-plot (that is carried throughout the series) is so intriguing that you will not want to put this book down. This is a fantastic series. There is only one more book to this series and I am almost afraid to read it. I hate to see it ending. I feel like I am right there in the middle of Healing Springs with these characters and I don't want to say good-bye to them. But I must get to reading the last one as I can't wait to see the sub-plot being fully developed and explained. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND (yes I am yelling it from the rooftops!!!!) this entire series to everyone!

Could love really happen to the big, stern, quiet, brute of a brother, Blaze? Blaze is not one for romance. The only place he sees himself is in a ring fighting his opponents. So when his long lost friend’s little sister starts following him around, as she did when they were younger, he wants no part of it. Though. Leila is no longer a little girl. She is now a woman he finds attractive and for him, that’s not a good thing.
Leila might be an adult, but you would never know it from the way she still annoys, plots a revenge game, and chases after Blaze. She has never gotten over her crash on Blaze or forgiven him for the rejection she felt the night of prom. (I had my Prom date cancel too, so I definitely understand how that type of rejection and humiliation can last for years.)
In between finding more clues about his father’s disappearance, Blaze struggles with his growing attraction to Leila. It must be lust, because a guy with anger-management issues his whole life, Blaze doesn’t believe he deserves to be loved. Well, Leila is not the type of woman to back down, so Blaze is in for a shock, as she rocks his world. The author did a honest job writing about two people that weren’t anywhere near the usual book couple, and showed them for themselves, warts and all. In this book, the sexiness is hotter, and the mystery also heats up with an intense scene.

Off-limits / childhood best friend’s younger sister romance

Blaze is an off-limits / childhood best friend’s younger sister romance. For those following along the series, I would say this book is a little grittier than the previous two in terms of suspense and action, although nothing too heavy. There is plenty of angst, some serious heat between the characters, and surprises that made this a great read.

Told from dual points of view, Blaze and Leila have a sizzling attraction that heats up the pages. Leila and Blaze appear as opposites, she the good girl and he the tough man, but together they complimented each other nicely and it was clear how their history impacts on the chemistry between them. Leila was a great match up to the physically strong but somewhat emotionally vulnerable Blaze with her persistence and feistiness. Both characters have gone through difficulties in their pasts for different reasons, the issues shaping who they both are today.

While each book focuses on a new couple and can be read as a standalone with a HEA, there is an underlying storyline interconnecting the books that isn’t fully solved in this book

I’m really enjoying this series and would definitely recommend it if you enjoy a well written small town romance with suspense mixed in and a best friend’s sister theme.

*I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

Reading about Blaze and Leila was painful in all the right ways. These two do a dance between being vulnerable and hard headed, stubborn and single mindedness that make you just want to shake them. While the drama continues with their father still missing and clues bringing them closer and closer Blaze gets to act on his anger while Leila deals with the fallout from her plan. The pain they share from their individual past carries over and almost is what destroys a chance at a future. Watching Blaze cave in and being brought to his knees?!?! Priceless.

I am loving this series of books and the individual stories of the mighty Blackthorne Brothers falling one by one to women that stretch them and demand more from them than sex. The brothers aren't the only ones being stretched. Great suspense to go with the romance.

Wow! What a great addition to the series. ‘Blaze’ has a ton of drama and action as the brothers get closer to finding out the story behind their father’s disappearance. Blaze and Leila’s story is filled with drama, explosive sexual tension, and past hurts that could threaten any hope for a forever future. Will Leila be able to break through the tough, broody exterior Blaze has built to find the boy she still holds near and dear to her heart, or has his world beaten him down so far he can’t be reached?

I loved the action and tense drama they faced in this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat, flipping the pages as fast as I could, anxious to see what was going to happen.
I’m excited for Kaden’s book, to get to the conclusion of their missing father, but at the same time sad to know it will be the end of this exciting adventure Amanda Torrey has taken me on.

I really enjoyed Blaze, there was a lot more of working on the mystery of where the missing father. There was a lot more action. I found Blaze a little hard to like, he doesn't talk a whole lot he just throws his fist around. The qualities I liked about Blaze his his love for his family and how he has his brothers backs. When it came down to it he stepped up for Leila. I loved how Leila didn't back down from Blaze. I loved how Leila had Blaze's back. Leila was one spitfire. I found Blaze a little predictable but I was okay with that. Overall I enjoyed Blaze. I read in Blackthorne Brothers: The Complete Collection: Books 1-4, plus prequel.

I think Blaze may have broken my heart every time he rejected her just like he did hers. But my heart also broke for the big that wasn’t sure where he belonged and because of that pushed everyone away. Blazes story was unique from his brothers in that he is very different than the other three. The mystery of their father also continues to build in this story... I’m desperate to truly understand what is happening...

I enjoyed all these Blackthorne brothers. The characters are all believable and likeable and the interactions amongst the brothers and their gals and their stories are great. You need to read them all though because of the mystery running throughout them which is not resolved until the last book. I’m glad I got them at discount. Well done!

Couldn't warm to this brother as he is such a dark character. However, the story between him and Leila developed beautifully with some real chuckle moments along the way. Read an ARC for an honest review.

An excellent third instalment of the Blackthorne series. More emotion, more intrigue and more romance.
Actions have consequences, grudges can be held overly long and memories can be long. Not all necessarily good things. Enjoy this story unfurl.

Another piece of the puzzle filled. I think this book went even quicker than the last 2. I love the spunk in Leila!

I am loving the Blackthorne brothers, and Blaze, Is my favorite. He’s the lovable underdog. A little misunderstood, in need of love and affection.
