Some 150 years ago, the British naturalist Charles Darwin proposed a theory based on various observations made during his travels, but which could not be supported by any subsequent scientific findings. In essence, his theory of evolution consisted of various scenarios, assumptions and conjectures that Darwin dreamed up in his own imagination. According to his evolution scenario, inanimate substances came together by chance to give rise to the first living cell. No doubt this claim was highly inaccurate, and one that could not be corroborated by any scientific evidence or findings. Again according to that myth, this single-celled life form gradually—and again by chance—turned into the first living species of microbe—in other words, it evolved. According to the evolution error, all the life forms on Earth, from bacteria on up to human beings, emerged as the result of this same imaginary process. Darwin's claims were of course based on no scientific evidence or findings. But since the scientific understanding and technological means available at the time were at a fairly primitive level, the full extent of the ridiculous and unrealistic nature of his assertions did not emerge fully into the light of day. In such a climate, Darwin's scenarios received general acceptance from a wide number of circles. The foundation of Darwin's theory of evolution was materialism. Therefore, it didn't take long for his theory to be adopted by materialists. Since materialist circles denied the fact of creation, they blindly grasped at the theory of evolution, and even declared that it was supposedly the scientific basis of their own world views. By carrying out a great deal of research and investigation, and by establishing artificial environments in laboratories, they sought to come up with findings that would corroborate Darwin's theory. However, every piece of research and every new finding they obtained, only constituted evidence that refuted evolution rather than confirming it. Science and technology had made rapid progress since the beginning of the 20th century, and refuted the theory of evolution. All the branches of science concerned with the subject–such as microbiology, biomathematics, cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, anatomy, physiology, anthropology and paleontology- -revealed countless proofs that totally undermined the theory of evolution. The fossil record is perhaps the most important evidence that demolishes the theory of evolution's claims. Fossils reveal that life forms on Earth have never undergone even the slightest change and have never developed into one another. Examining the fossil record, we see that living things are exactly the same today as they were hundreds of millions of years ago—in other words, that they never underwent evolution. Even during the most ancient periods, life forms emerged suddenly with all their complex structures–with the perfect and superior features, just as do their counterparts today. This demonstrates one indisputable fact: Living things did not come into being through the imaginary processes of evolution. All the living things that have ever existed on Earth were created by God. This fact of creation is once again revealed in the traces left behind them by flawless living things. This book will provide you with not only such information as what fossils are and where and how they are found, but also a closer examination of a variety of fossil specimens, millions of years old, that are still able to declare, "We never underwent evolution; we were created." The fossils discussed and illustrated in this book are just a few examples of the hundreds of millions of specimens that prove the fact of creation. And even these few are enough to prove that the theory of evolution is a major hoax and deception in the history of science.
Adnan Oktar (born Ankara, 1956), also known by his pen name Harun Yahya, is a prominent advocate of Islamic creationism in the creation-evolution debate. He is considered to be the leading Muslim advocate of creationism. He subscribes to Old Earth creationism. He is against Zionism and Freemasonry and sees them as very interrelated movements, though he denounces anti-Semitism and terrorism, which he says is a product of Darwinism, not religious fanaticism.
Adnan Oktar founded the Science Research Foundation (SRF, or BAV in Turkish), whose objective is "to [establish]...peace, tranquility and love..."
This mysterious book arrived gratis and unsolicited at libraries around the world, including the library I work for, an institution that focuses on American women's history. Needless to say, we did not feel the need to keep thirteen copies of a 14 lb. book on evolution and creationism, as it has absolutely nothing to do with our collection in any way. I lugged a copy home, because it has beautiful pictures, and also because it's one of the craziest things I've ever read.
The book was written by Harun Yahya, a.k.a. Adnan Oktar, a prominent Turkish creationist. The bulk of his argument consists of beautiful and uncredited photos of fossils next to photographs of living animals, with text along the lines of "these are the same and therefore evolution doesn't exist." Never mind that convincing fossil records exist and are documented, or that the non-evolution of one species does not preclude the evolution of another, or that it's very difficult to tell if two animals are the same by comparing a skeleton and an entire living creature - no, if you have a fish fossil and a living fish, that's apparantly irrefutable proof.
Other smashing arguments include pictures of, say, a dinosaur morphing into a bird (with hilarious "trasitional" forms in between) with a big red X over them to indicate that the idea is false. Oh, and also, Darwinists caused 9/11. Yahya clearly has no idea what the actual theory of evolution entails, a misconception which could be rectified by simply persuing http://www.talkorigins.org, which also refutes many of Yahya's ideas in its Index to Creationist Claims (http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/).
Still, it's the largest book I own, and it's sure pretty (and a great conversation piece!)
Great idea but a bit poorly executed. The book attempts to prove that living things have remained relatively unchanged for millions of years, by comparing pictures of million year old fossils with their living counterparts today. Although, evolution within a species itself cannot be denied, the book argues, the fossil evidence contradicts any claims of species developing into a completely new ones. That is, a shark has never been any anything other than a shark, despite any changes and variations.
Most, if not all, the images are unaccredited. Several mistakes were pointed out (by Dawkins) but a dozen or so errors and oversights are hardly enough justification to discredit an entire work of almost a thousand pages!
The author tries, in some of his works, to portray Darwinism (macro-evolution) as being in contradiction to Islam. However, I do not find that so, since he fails to produce any Qur'anic Verse or authentic hadeeth explicitly stating that God created all creatures in a single instant. The only exception is the special creation of man, as the Qur'aan, along with the other books revealed before it, affirm that Adam was created in Heaven in his complete form, and then sent down to earth.
The last section of this book The Secret Beyond Matter (also published separately) was a total waste of time - filled with the ludicrous, polytheistic dogma of Wahdat-ul-Wujood (Pantheism) masquerading as Science! The author deceitfully denies he is promoting Wahdat-ul-Wujood in the first few pages, but towards the middle, in an attempt to legitimize his views, he unhesitatingly cites passages fom Ibn `Arabee and his likes from their discourses on Wahdat-ul-Wujood without any shame whatsoever! He also considers `Ibn Arabee, the most notorious proponent of this dogma who was excommunicated from Islam because of it by leading the Imaams (C.f. Burhaan-ud-Deen al-Biqaa`ee, Masra`-ut-Tasawwuf/Tanbeeh-ul-Ghabee ilaa Takfeer ibn `Arabee) among the "leading Islamic Scholars"!
This humongous book, weighing ten+ pounds, was sent to me (unrequested) because of my association w/the UU church. Probably15-20 copies arrived at the church. It is full of nice color pix of fossils, compared to the present day animal. "See? Evolution doesn't exist!" Well WRONG. The book dispells the myth that the chipmunk evolved from the alligator. What?? DO NOT, REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS REDICULOUS BOOK! Come to my house to look at it if you really feel so compelled.
Not only did Harun Yahya spend a lot of money making this book (if it really was him and not a large group of people, as many suspect), but he also managed to make terrible arguments and get many pictures wrong. When attempting to show that species haven't evolved, Yahya shows pictures of millions-year-old fossil next to living species that are apparently their modern counterparts, thereby showing that they haven't evolved. The first problem with this is that even if one species hasn't evolved (living fossils), it doesn't prevent another from doing so. The second problem is the reason why I included the word 'apparently' up there, as Yahya often gives modern counterparts of a different genus, order or even phylum, such as being unable to tell the difference between snakes and eels. His greatest mistake is when he shows a picture of a modern fly, and it is in fact... a fishing lure, with the hook in plain sight, meaning that (most likely along with the many other uncredited photos in this book) it was simply taken from the internet without paying any attention to where it came from. Well, if it can fool a fish...
The book was written by Harun Yahya, a.k.a. Adnan Oktar, a prominent Turkish creationist. Actually Harun Yahya is not the only one author in this book but they prefer to publish it with the name of him. Some of you guys probably know these 3 volumes books arrived free at libraries around the world few years ago. However you can also download the first volume from links below
This book is not for reading but ONLY for seeing. However inside in this book you can find many beautiful pictures. Like the other Harun Yahya's Books it just so Harun Yahya if you talk about debate between Creationist and Evolutionist.
There are very few books in which case I am very happy that I do not own them. Atlas of creation is such book. I give it one star only because nice photographs and general appearance of the book. When I opened and read the text I felt slightly uneasy. The text was pile of religious fanaticism brought ad absurdum. The major theme was creativity theory against evolution. Well Darwin was considered as Satan himself and those who support him the spawn of Satan. There is hint of intolerance which is great as an elephant. This book is centred on those who are disappointed with the world and lost in the mist of science. The book offers too simple solution which is deny and destroy everything false, which means everything this book is against. The author is oriented in the theme however he twists the fossils finding and many religious matter together with simply this is truth statement. Arguments are weak and sometimes little disgusting, mainly at the end of the book where author uses the Darwinism as cause of the terrorists attacks. I sometimes wonder how far can authors go.
Holy shit was this thing big and heavy. If the cover would be thicker, this thing would have the same dimensions as the book of the dead from "The Mummy." And as can be expected, the book starts with the typical, false, claim that the theory of evolution has taken the faith of thousands, states it's all about the Quran and has a big double page about the author. Yeah, because that doesn't reek of self-love... Of course, the guy doesn't even know what the theory of evolution means. He claims it basically says life started by accident and everything later is also an accident. He has no idea how Darwin developed it either. He even claims microbiology; genetics, biomechanics, cell biology, paleontology, etc. etc. provided tons of evidence against the theory of evolution. Well it's clear the guy is not even a biologist. And no wonder that this idiot thinks there are no transitional fossils. He claims transitional forms would look like e.g. gryphons or mermaids. I think the biggest problem with this book is not the fact that it is basically lying all the time mixed with actual facts, but its high production value. This must have cost a lot and the author was giving the hardcover out for free. It's disturbing that in a relatively secular nation like Turkey, this crap can be produced. Considered how much money must have gone into this to produce all those big, glossy pages with giant pictures its astounding that they could not afford either pictures of actual rabbits on a green meadow nor do a better photoshopping job. The crappy photoshop is all over this book. Since I am at crappy: The stories are true. This idiot was so incompetent he really didn't notice the fishing hook at the end of the fake caddisfly. And yes, in the pdf version it is changed without any comment on him making a mistake... well more mistakes than the usual ones, not knowing evolution, lying about science etc. etc. This guy is incredibly incompetent. Not only was the caddisfly an obvious lure, but this mayfly is as well. Sure the hook doesn't spring into the eye quite as strongly because the background is not black, but still, it's pretty obvious. Plus, the page was obviously edited in the pdf version (the mayfly picture is even mirrored) and yet they still didn't notice the fishing hook. This picture of the sea lilly fossil where the idiot could not realize that the "modern sea lilly" is actually a sabellid worm (aka feather duster worm) was not the first nor silliest example of the author being unable to see differences between pictures. Later on there was the same worm again, on two pictures, one of them being the same as before, just less cropped and slightly rotated. And just like with the previous picture, this one here was replaced with a completely different picture in the pdf version. And I saw, the eel picture that is actually a yellow-lipped sea krait (a venomous sea snake) and in the pdf... removed once again, without any comment on that he made a mistake. However, in another case apparently no one had pointed out that this modern representation of an eel (he repeats himself several times) wasn't an eel either but very obviously a Zebra moray. How can you confuse the two? This is even worse than him confusing a snake for an eel, at least that had a similar shape, but a moray? At about three quarter of the book, the idiot claims that "evolutionists" have claimed certain humans are more evolved than others, that is BS now, no credible expert would say that. But hey, this idiot thinks e.g. Aborigines stay the same as long as they don't mix with others (same with other "races") ignoring that aborigines had differing features even before contact with Europeans. But hey the guy doesn't know the difference between race and species, so what do you expect? But shortly afterwards, it was interesting, here the hardcover and pdf books diverge, the pdf has tons of skulls and the hardcover has the Nebraska man, the pdf has it about 100 pages more. Well, considered how much he claims us to be liars it's astounding that he fails to mention that Nebraska man was never scientifically accepted or mainstream knowledge and that the person naming it was against the picture that was drawn back then. Of course we got some quote mining from Darwin's book to make him look like a eugenics supporter and the asshole claims terrorism is based on materialism and Darwinism. Hm... I wonder if he would tell that to Al-Qaeda and ISIS. And if all of this crap wasn't enough, we get more parodies. These pictures with how alleged transitional forms would look like, once again look like they came from the X-Men comics (because they have several eyes, faces etc.) and would rather debunk the theory of evolution than proof it. If they would proof anything, they would proof creation. Not only does he claim that Archaeopteryx is a fully fledged bird due to feathers, hollow bones and that Hoatzins have claws as well, but he claims the recently found 7th fossils had a breastbone like a modern bird. The 7th fossil was found in 1960s. The one he may mean is the 8th from 1992, and the breast bone was a coracoid. And he thinks Confuciusornis being beakless means something. I was wondering whether horse evolution would ever come up here, since the author has mostly shown fossils that look similar to modern species, and failed, showing that he doesn't know how evolution works. With the horses he cites some people from the 1980s and claims all these horses were fully formed, did not evolve and lived in different places, no idea why the latter is relevant, though. And since we had Nebraska Man, we also have Piltdown man here and once again the author reveals his ignorance/lying: It was almost from the onset strongly challenged by some researchers, in fact that it was a composite of man and Orangutan was claimed in 1913, 1915 and 1923 by several scientists. The fossils found afterwards did not fit and I don't know if it being displayed in the British Museum for 40 years, I doubt it. The last chapter called "secret beyond matter" was the same collection of lies and half-truths, something the author accuses "evolutionists" of, which all basically come down to "Allah is responsible because it is all too complex for it to be otherwise", which of course is BS for the fact alone that it could be any other creation deity as well.
Seperti biasa, gambar dan klaim. Gambar dan klaim. Gambar dan klaim. Tidak ada justifikasi dan dasar yang kuat. . .
