His Summer, Her Storm
Being the daughter of a kingpin certainly has its perks. Summer or Sunny as her family refers to her, has never had any desires to associate herself with the street lifestyle or the bad boys that come along with it. Instead of dealing with dope boys who can provide the life she’s used to, she chooses a square with a 9-5. After many years of being with Brandon, Sunny starts to feel like there has to be more to life, and more importantly, that Brandon may not be the dreamboat everyone thinks that he is. Is she right about Brandon stepping out on her? Or will she possibly ruin her chances of lifelong happiness over pure intuition?
Autumn Breeze is Summer’s older cousin. Breeze has certainly had her share of heart breaks and let downs being abandoned by her mother at a young age and left for Summer's parents to raise. She chooses not to be a victim, but instead picks up the pieces of her life by becoming a true entrepreneurial success story; even finding love in the arms of Kendrick. Will a misunderstanding prove to unravel all that Breeze has worked for and put her in the path of abandonment once again or will she once again find resiliency and put her life back together piece by piece?
Shayla is Summer's bestie, although they couldn't be more different. Shayla has no problem tooting her own horn feeling like niggas should "part like the Red Sea" when she walks by, but will her sheltered lifestyle prove her to be too naive and self-centered for these mean streets?
Storm is a street nigga in every sense of the word. Known as Quiet Storm in the streets he is the definition of "not to be fucked with" and will go to the ends of the earth to protect the people that he loves. What happens when the person that he's loved and given his all to decides to test his gangster and his love? Will he show her why they call him Quiet Storm or will he let his heart lead the way?

Here for It!!!
This is such a good read with so much drama. First, Kalena is crazy and needs to be put down. Storm should have handled her when Smurf told him to. I love Summer and Storm together, i hope they make it through the drama. Man, i hope Smurf pull through. Kendrick should have been killed for messing around on Autumn with her best friend Raina. I hope Autumn and Shamrock get together. Shatoya is just stupid, I’m sick of her. And if she set my bae Rah up I’m going to be upset smh. She needs to get her stuff together. Overall, i love this and can’t wait to read part 2.

I thought this was a pretty decent read.
Somethings I felt didn’t flow as well as others
things did such as Shayla’s storyline.
Or maybe it was because she was just
a dumb broad altogether that made me
not like it. I can’t say for sure. But overall it just
seemed too much too soon. Like it was just
all over the place to me and the pacing was too fast.
However I loved Storm and Summer and have no problem reading just
their story lol. I didn’t realize this was the author’s
first novel until the end and just want to say congrats!
Overall I think she did well and I will read part 2.
