A heartwarming epilogue for all the Crane men. OMG TAG CRANE'S SURPRISE! That left me giggly and emotional at the same time. You the man!!! 😭💖👏🏼 I love this holiday read. Just pure sweetness and good vibes.

So, confession time: I was dreading reading this one. Not because I have any doubts about Jessica Lemmon's writing skills, but because it felt so final. I loved all 3 Crane brothers' books (even if I do have a soft spot for Eli) and I think I didn't want it to end.

But here we are. And a Christmas story is all I needed. It was wonderful to have them back together and share in on the news - almost like I'm part of the family. Too bad Eli's taken, though!

If you're looking for one last adventure with the Cranes, get this one. It got me a bit teary-eyed, as all Christmas stories do - and as all great romance stories do as well.

It was fun to read all cranes coming together with their new life partners. I really loved reading the books although all are typical romance novels where hero has problem with commitments and even though they don't give me literary pleasure, I always enjoy them. They are light and fun, it's good to have just fun sometimes without any hidden mystery or a message so well hidden that it makes you scratch your head 😜.

Dear Reader,

After many, many requests for an update on the Crane family including: an epilogue for Isa and Eli, a short story for Alex and Rhona, and what became of [insert favorite character name here], I decided to write a Christmas freebie and answer at least some of your burning questions. This short story is, in every way, my gift to you. It’s my way of saying thank you for reading and loving the Billionaire Bad Boys series and the characters within. It means so much to me that you care enough to contact me about the heroes and heroines I love every bit as much as you do!

Now a disclaimer of sorts… This book was written as a freebie and has not been professionally edited. However, it was read over (and over) by not only myself but a few lovely volunteers. Huge thanks to Kate Meader, Nikki Snider, and Jill Wymer for your input. If you come across comma splicing, dangling modifiers, or a misused adjective, please know that the fault lies with me. I intend only to produce the best work for my readers.

If you’re new to the Billionaire Bad Boys world, an FYI: this book is very much an Epilogue to the series. It’s intended to be read as an extension of the series rather than a standalone. That said, if you don’t mind spoilers go for it. :)

Wishing you all a very merry Christmas,
Jessica Lemmon & the Cranes

Ah, the Crane men.

What is more fun than a holiday with the Crane family?

Well, doorknobs and islands are fun. So are men with plans to one-up their brothers.

Admittedly, I am not the biggest fan of holiday themed books. I know, call me Scrooge, but I don't usually enjoy them. That said, I read this one the second it was available...I was dying for a little more time with this family and these brothers.

I was not disappointed. The glimpses into their lives now, the view of the things to come for them, and the chance to spend a little more time with them was delightful.

This is a short, sweet and overall wonderful novella and I recommend it, but with one caveat...it is not intended to be read until you have read the books in the Billionaire Bad Boys series (and, if you haven't, WHY HAVEN'T YOU???)

It's a very quick read but a very sweet epilogue to the series. Each characters had a moment told in their POV and one from Big Crane too. It made me fall in love again with the Crane brothers. If you haven't read the Billionaire Bad Boys series yet well... first of all, you're really missing something and second of all, this novella will make you wants to learn more about them.

Ever gotten to the end of a book and wondered how the characters would fare in the future? Or read a book with a HFN ending that left you wondering how things panned out? I don't know about you but there are some books/series where I want the author to keep writing. To tell me the ins and outs of my favourite characters lives. Obviously this is not possible but some authors will throw us a bone, and give us a glimpse into the future. One such author? Jessica Lemmon. She's given us an early Christmas gift with an extended epilogue of sorts of the Crane brothers and their significant others. It was a quick read with a snippet into each couples lives. And overall was the theme of family and love. I enjoyed delving back into their world for a moment and now am left wanting to know about children.... Here's hoping Ms Lemmon gives us another gift ;)

A Crane Family Christmas was a perfect short story and conclusion to the Billionaire Bad Boys series! It was everything I hoped it would be and I honestly can't thank Jessica Lemmon enough for writing this free epilogue for her dedicated readers. I truly loved the Billionaire Bad Boys series and I was so happy to see all of the characters that I had come to know and love again. Jessica Lemmon did a fantastic job with ending this amazing and must read series, and I would highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already!

Fans of the series get to check back in with the Crane family and their significant others. It's a relatively short read, but I loved the holiday setting and just pretty much catching up with where all the characters are (and I also supposed where they're expected to go with their lives from here). It's a sweet story featuring Eli and Isa, Reese and Merina, Tag and Rachel, and also Alex and Rhona.

We get a little of everyone's point of view. Jessica Lemmon did a great job with this for such a short story, no one character seemed to overtake any of the others. Yes, some had bigger or more noteworthy news than others, but we do get everyone's perspective. And the family feeling is perfect for the holiday season.

If you're a fan of the main series, you'll love this extra little look into where the Cranes are now.

If I’ve said this once, I’ve said this a million times….Jessica Lemmon is my “go to” author. I haven’t read one book of hers that disappoints. Where do the words come from? All I can say is, it’s a gift. She has written some of the most memorable dialogues I have ever read. And her string of winning words, smart and sassy banter, hot and steamy chemistry between the characters, well it’s all there in Lone Star Lovers.

We all know that love makes the world go round. It’s the foundation of any longstanding, enduring relationship. Lose love, you probably lose the relationship. And it takes two to make it work, two people committed to it. Now lust….awww, the stuff that makes a one night hook-up steamy and hot. It can make an earthquake that’s a ten on the Richter Scale pale in comparison to the earthquake a lusty orgasm can give you. But I think if you ask anyone, what they would chose is the love and the enduring relationship. Hook-up are good if all you want to do is hit the “easy button” for a night and walk away. But how empty! Love, that’s hard work, but the rewards of the relationship are what make it worth it.

Now I can say, I definitely remember Penelope Brand! Any women that can handle Reese Crane (The Billionaire Bachelor) and his fake marriage definitely deserves her own story. But Zach? Help me out here. Anyone? What book was he in? I’ve combed through that series but I can’t find him.

In the first chapter I have never seen a girl go from the frying pan into the fire as quickly as Penelope Brand did. She was a powerhouse in Chicago and did work for the Crane Hotels, but then she moves from Chicago to Texas to escape her own PR faux pax; she lands a good job helping the Mayor of Dallas with his PR issues (maybe Reese but in a good call for her…..you know those billionaires all run in the same circles), but then Penelope has a one night stand (because that’s all she has time for right now) with a very handsome man who ends up being the Mayor’s brother, who then claims her as his fake fiancée to avoid his ex-wife’s tirade at the Mayor’s birthday party, and then she finds she’s pregnant with Zach’s child……whoa! I mean, can one person land is so much chaos in such a short amount of time?

Zach Ferguson is a different animal all together. He’s the CEO of Ferguson Oil. He comes off as the playboy brother, but there’s a deeper soul inside of this man. He’s elated to see Penelope again after their one-night hook-up. I think he regretted not being able to see her again. And let’s face it. If the first thing out of your mouth is to claim Penelope as your “fiancée” to avoid an ex-wife meltdown, don’t you think there is some kind of deeper feeling brewing within him to have Penelope part of your life? There are a lot of things he could have done (called for security, escorted her outside to talk, etc.) but he chose to make a public announcement that Penelope and he were a couple. And then to NOT bolt when she tells him she’s pregnant but insists he will be there for her all the way? This man has some substance to him, something you can work with. Just one little glitch though. He had a bad break up years ago, and so he’s kind of sworn off love. He’s ready to stay in the relationship and do whatever he can, but let’s forget the love thing. There’s amazing attraction between these two characters, but my hat is off to Penelope. She’s not going to settle for the hot, lusty chemistry/sex. She’s smart enough for that. Love is what will carry you through the good times and the bad. That a child of theirs deserves more. She DESERVES more.

In Lone Star Lovers we watch Penelope and Zach grow. Both learn what they are made of. Both learn that possibly they are better together than apart. Both learn the true meaning of love and a relationship that is meant to last. What a great journey to travel with them.

The next book in this series deals with Zach’s brother, and the Mayor of Dallas, Chase Ferguson. Now I have already listed this book as “I want to read” on Goodreads, so I’m already salivating for the next chapter in the Ferguson family drama. Aren’t you??

An Advanced Reader Copy was graciously provided by the author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Perfect ending
I was very excited to find this novella when I finished reading the other 3 Crane brother books, which I absolutely loved. It's the perfect ending for the series, an extended epilogue of sorts. We get to see all of the brothers and their lovely significant others and know how they are doing some time after their own book finish and even get to see and know a bit more of big Crane.
This Christmas treat, while short, is filled with good news and adorableness. Definitely worth the read if you loved the Jessica Lemon's series, just make sure you read it after as it's full of spoilers otherwise😉

The only thing I didn't like was how short it was, but I understand that it was meant to be that way. All in all, it was a nice to catch up with all three of the Crane Brothers and their partners again, and even Alex and Rhona too. Not gonna lie, I was kinda hoping we'd get a book following them too. I honestly thought Tag was never gonna marry Rachel. That man really hates weddings. However, it totally made sense for them to have a tiny private ceremony. I loved how at the end Eli and Isabella make plans to start trying for a baby. Is it just me or does anyone else want to explore the next generation of this family?

3.5 stars. It’s Christmas Day. This short story is told from each of the main characters from the series. And Daddy Crane. Which I didn’t really need. It’s not four stars because Tag and Rachel get married in this one. They’re still not my fav characters. And then Daddy Crane steals their thunder by announcing he and his former PA are getting married as the family opens presents afterward. Ha ha.
I’m also disappointed that Reese and Merina don’t have kids. But it was cute and I liked catching up with my fav couples.

Wonderful

A much needed ending to the true love that invaded each of these characters. Hope one day there will be a addition to the series. After falling for each of these characters one by one there could continue to be storyline to follow all the while answering and holding readers in content to find out what happens next!!
Love love love these Cranes !!

Amazing! It's so well-written that the ending made me tear up. I don't usually cry because of books so that says something. I got excited throughout parts of the book and read it all in one sitting. Once I started, I couldn't stop! Honestly such a good ending. I really hope she writes another book about the Cranes in the future. I absolutely adore all of them!

Read Reese's story before this and forgot until I started reading that I purposefully had DNF-ed the other two in the series because I couldn't STAND the other brothers and their tempers - felt so juvenile. There were bits I enjoyed (mostly that with Reese) but mostly I just wanted to get through it lol.

This is an epilogue to the Billionaire Bad Boys series. You get to see where each of the couples are in their HEA. I wish we had gotten further in the future, but this was a nice glimpse into the Crane men’s happily ever after. For the best enjoyment read this book after reading the 3 novels in the series as it’s not meant to be a stand alone.

Too predictable, but sweet

From the get go the entire story was given away. But that didn’t mean it was any less enjoyable. The parts on Big Crane were kinda cringy, thinking about an elderly person knocking boots so weird 😅
