My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I received a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I bought this book before I had a chance to read the review copy because I wanted to read the whole series in order because I love and own most of Zoe’s books!
The cover is Christmasy and awesome!
This is the 6th book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content. I highly recommend reading all the books in order especially before this book which is like an update to all the bears in the previous books.
This is a feel-good Christmas story with all of my favorite Pinerock characters, and we are introduced to 2 new friends who get their HEA in this book. This story had a bit of drama, but it definitely focuses on Christmas and celebration. I liked Gloria who is having a hard time but makes some friends. Jaron is sweet and clueless about the world because he grew up sheltered in the mountains and doesn’t have a clue about most things, but he is working hard to learn all that he can. This story definitely made me smile.
I highly recommend to any bear fans who love HEAs especially those who love these Pinerock Bears and Zoe Chant! I can’t wait to read my next Zoe Chant book!

Pinerock Bears
I really love this series I read each book and each one from Axl /Zara, Remy/Saffron, Alec/Chastain, Gannon/Daisy, Cody/Crystal and finally with this book of Jaron/Gloria have made me fall in love with shifters all the more.
In each book you find that each couple goes through several trials in finding how much each means to each other.
Zoe Chant has brought you into her world of shifters with a huge bang. Her writing brings cheering, sadness, worry all together with love at the end and each book leaves a mark in the reader with wanting more....
In this last book, A Pinerock Bear Christmas you get a glimpse of each of the other books couples how they have grown, have added babies to the family and still had room to help another couple to find each.
Now it looks that Zoe has finished this series but I think that there's more to the Pinerock Bears ... could she give Alec and Charnain a baby of their own, ( it's not too late for them) how about Baz, Lexie , Fern and the twins ? The twins are special... maybe they're Dragons too!!!
Who knows how Zoe will write this or not. But I hope she does!!! I LOVE HER SHIFTERS,!!!

Plot: Gloria is traveling to her brother's house for Christmas, and her car breaks down in Pinerock County. There's no way to get the car fixed in time, so a couple of women she runs into in town invite her back to their place for Christmas. There we meet all of the shifters in Pinerock (it seems) for a Christmas celebration. Gloria also meets Jaron, who turns out to be her mate.
Character development: We didn't get a whole lot of character development for our main couple. This is a Christmas book, which in a lot of series functions as a sort of reunion story, and if you haven't read the other books in the series (like I haven't), then you're left trying to figure out who all the couples are, how they're related, and what's going on, in addition to learning about the new couple. It's confusing. That's on me for reading out of order. But also, books with too many couple or too many friends are one of my pet peeves. Still, my fault.

I don’t think the smile left my face from the moment I opened up the Kindle to start reading A Pinerock Bear Christmas. I enjoy any addition to series that I’ve enjoyed, but I look forward to the Christmas reunions and additions so much. And Zoe Chant never fails to give me great reunion stories from many of her series. So this time of the year I am one very happy reader.
Gloria is setting out to spend Christmas with her brother and his family after dumping her cheating boyfriend and looking for a new start. Only he’s a long way from Georgia and between highway closures and a car that picks the most inconvenient time to die Gloria is now stuck in a small Montana town on Christmas Eve cursing at her car… and about to have the adventure of her lifetime where love is the greatest gift she’ll find this Christmas.
Jaron is one of the bears from the wild clans that Gannon left long ago. Some of those shifters have wanted more interaction with the human world and the life and possibly mates that a larger exposure may grant. So, Jaron is now a deputy at the Pinerock County Sheriff’s department where he’s learning how to function in a human world among friends, bear friends. No one should be alone on Christmas Eve so Jaron has been invited out to the ranch compound that houses his alpha and all the members of the Pinerock County clan. He’s happy for the company, and experiencing a Christmas celebration with people he’s comfortable with – he simply doesn’t know yet that another stranger is about to show up at the ranch as well, and she’s going to be very important to him.
I loved catching up with couples who I have watched find their happy ending and to see where they are today. As usual, the competition between the brothers is fierce in outdoor Christmas decorating, the ladies take it all in stride and rule their mates with a gentle touch, babies have been born, and children wait for Christmas morning… just like most places in the world. In other words, it’s pure chaos, the absolutely delightful, fun kind. Gloria and Jaron are a sweet, young couple just discovering each other and watching them find an uncomplicated happy ending was enjoyable. This was a story that simply warmed my heart, made me happy to catch up with old friends and maybe hope to eventually learn more about the wild clans. A fun experience, a great story and one that I’d definitely recommend. If you want a guaranteed shifter story that will put a smile on your face this season – this one is for you.

Small Miracles!!!
Gloria Munson was nearly stranded in a snow blizzard on her way to Spokane when her car broke down in Pinerock County. She thought she was going to have a miserable Christmas.
Well she couldn't be more wrong. She was rescued by Charmian ( ALPHA RANCHER BEAR ) and Crystal ( HIRED BEAR ). They invited here to be their guest until the men could fix her car problem.
Deputy Jaron Holbrook had no family to welcome him for the holidays. He was invited by his boss, Axl Tanner ( SHERIFF BEAR ) to spend Christmas at his family's ranch. Jaron knew that all the women on the ranch were mated.
So when he met the Tanner's beautiful and intriguing houseguest. He and his bear recognized her as their mate. And just like that he was called away to help search for Gannon ( MOUNTAIN GUARDIAN BEAR ).
The Tanner women knew that Gloria and Jaron were mates. Even though they could have shared that news with their guest. They left that task up to the young man.
It was great to catch up with everyone, to see the Pinerock Clan having a wonderful and joyous holiday was a delightful treat.

Beautiful
Love those Pinerock County bears! This is about the whole family along with a new couple celebrating Christmas. Jaron is related to Gannon and from the wild mountain clan. He came down to civilization to help people. He is a deputy working with Axl while getting his GED. He is pretty naive in a way because the mountain is all that he had known. Axl invites him to spend Christmas with them.
In the meantime, Gloria is driving from Georgia to Washington. She is heading to her brother's family home but gets caught in a blizzard in Pinerock County when her car breaks down. Charmaine and Chrystal see her and invite her to Christmas with them.
When Jaron and Gloria first see each other they get caught in the moment just staring. It gets interrupted because Jaron heads out to help find Gannon. Jaron knows she is his mate and can't wait to get back to the house. The women notice the looks that were exchanged. Saffron is the one who spoke up and told her that there was something special between them but Jaron would have to explain.
This is a lovely story of Gloria's life going bad with a cheating ex and losing her job so that she could find and live her dream life. Jaron also gets to feel not so alone now that he's found his mate.
I encourage anyone to read the whole series and fall in love with these awesome characters.

A sweet swoony perfect book to end the series
This was a sweet, sexy, and heart warming novella about the worst Christmas turning into the best one. Jaron is a bear shifter who recently left one of the wild bear clans to live closer to humans. He’s working in the local sheriff’s office and learning all the things he never learned about living amongst humans. Gloria had her life implode and she’s on her way cross country to spend Christmas with her brother when an accident detour, a blizzard, and car trouble strand her in Pinerock County. She gets invited to spend Christmas at the ranch by two of the wives. Jaron also gets invited by the sheriff. As soon as their eyes meet Jaron knows Gloria is his mate.The story includes what you’d expect - sweet moments, steamy moments, loyal friends and family, painful pasts, love, fated mates, and laughs. While short, the characters were well developed and the story was well written. We also got to see all the other couples from the series in Jaron and Gloria’s story so it was a wonderful wrap up novella for the series.

Christmas in the snow
This book is kind of a extra this series started of with 5 male shifter bears living on a ranch owned by alpha Alex, four of the five are related by blood, but then one by one each book shows a male finding his mate and you learn more about them all I think 3 or 4 years has past since Tara the first mate came to the ranch, the time frames could of been better explained but the storyline was lovely.
This book is kind of a extra bonus with Christmas cheer and a love story too.Nicely done when you get into a series it's always sad when it's over so this felt like a extra curtain role.I
But I wonder if there will be a book 7 maybe 20 years into the future with the kids (could be even more then the five of them ) be nice to see the couple's as parents to 20 year olds.plus I was hoping in that envelope she was giving Alex's a baby scan photo sadly not but it would be nice to find out that she got pregnant that Christmas and called her kids snow and winter or something maybe more dragons? Sadly this series is called bears so maybe not but why not?

Book 6 in this series see's us meet Jaron and Gloria. I felt that their romance was a little on the back burner in this one as we caught up with all the previous couples from the series. As I loved catching up with everyone, it didn't really bother me that it didn't focus to heavily on the new couple.
What we did get of Jaron and Gloria was great. Jaron was the shy type who had left his remote mountain bear clan to become a deputy and meets Gloria who was travel to stay with her brother and his family for Christmas when she gets stranded and rescued in Pinerock County.
Gloria had been going through a bit of a rough time and is hit with insta-love when she meets Jaron, who has the coolest name ever!!!

Gloria Munson is trying to find away around and accident that has closed the lanes on the highway during a snow storm. She is forced to stop in Spring Meadow, the county seat of Pinerock County. How could this happen she had plans to be with family for Christmas. Two good samaritan take her hoe to spend the night with their families.
Axl the Sheriff has taken his deputy Jaron Holbrook to thee ranch for Christmas. Jaron realizes Gloria is his mate and time is short to woo her.
Will Jaron be able to convince her they belong together? Will she leave when the storm is over? I give this story 5 stars. "I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy without pressure to do so".

A perfect bonus story for fans of this series! I loved how crazy the guys were about Christmas decorations. It added a bit of fun and silliness to this one. It was also so awesome to be able to visit all the couples and get one last chance to spend time with them, and bask along with them in their happily ever afters. The two newbies introduced here are Gloria and Jaron. Their romance was pretty stock standard, with zero hurdles, but it was still fun to watch another couple find each other. This was sweet, funny, heartwarming, and guaranteed to leave a smile on your face for a while after reading it. While you can probably read any of the previous books in whatever order you would like, this one is best left until you have read all the others to maximize the enjoyment of all the characters you see here. I definitely recommend to fans of this series!

It’s Christmas season in Pinerock county and everyone ends up at the ranch for Christmas !! Even Gloria, a stranded motorist who knows noone in Pinerock, muchless the shifters who make it their home !! Another Zoe Chant hit! Loved how Gloria just kind of rolled with the punches. She could have been miserable, but she wasn't. I loved how despite his upbringing, Jaron was desperate to gain any knowledge he could. Great Christmas read!

A great holiday read
Loved this book!!! I love my shifter books and this Christmas one is the best . Zoe Chant has put all the family values that I cherish and hold dear into this book. Which is probably why I love shifters . This is an amazing shifter family Christmas with a new romance for a young couple that did not expect to meet a mate. This is one of the best holiday feel good stories I have read yet!!! It even brought happy tears to my eyes . I truly enjoyed this story. It was so well written and I fell in love with all of the many characters. A must read!!!

This was a very sweet finale for the Pinerock County Bears series - and honestly, it read mostly like an extended epilogue for all of the couples we've met up to this point. I think it's fair to say that the Pinerock Bears weren't my favourite of Ms Esker's shifter romance sets, but for completion's sake, I'm glad I read them.
And next up, I'm going to try her alien romance books (look, I'd never thought I'd be an alien romance reader, but if you'd asked me three years ago, I would have sworn I'd never be a fated mates shifter romance reader either, and here we are).

Christmas with a clan of shifters? Not what Gloria is expecting as her car breaks down in rural Montana on Christmas Eve. But the unexpected turns out to be the bed thing that ever happened to this misplaced Georgia peach in A Pinerock Bear Christmas. A lovely, quick read that captures the spirit of the holidays. Loved This!
I loved this sixth book in the Pinerock series. Her we get to experience Christmas with all of the other clan members from all of the other series. This allows us to see what everyone's been up to and where they are at now. Jaron and Gloria were a nice added touch. I would've wanted some mention of where they would end up living hopefully close to Gannon and his mate.

Lovely read but really would have been happier if Alec and Charmaine had a baby to look forward too as well. She is not too old for this to happen.
Enjoyed the silliness with the lights and music rivalry.
Thought it strange that Gloria’s brother never asked, for safety reasons, exactly where she was and the name of the family she was with.
The Christmas story was fun and bought a mate for one of the backwards bears from Gannon’s old clan.

Love at first sight
Short but nice Christmas love story. If only real life could be this easy and perfect, life would be so much better. Being able to open your heart and home to a stranger without fear is wonderful. Being able to look at someone and know that they are the one and only would save so much heartache and divorces. I love Pinerock and would love more stories all of the clan.

A Pinerock Bear Christmas (Bears of Pinerock County Book 6) by Lauren Esker. Gloria’s car broke down in Spring Meadow, Pinerock County. There she met Charmaine and Crystal who invited her back to the ranch. Axl finished at sheriff’s office and found Jaron sitting in the office obviously having nowhere to go so Axl invited him up to the ranch. As soon as Jaron and Gloria met it was obvious they were mates.

Christmas at it's finest
After reading the entire series, this was the icing on the cake. Each book was entertaining on it's own,with just enough suspense to keep you on you toes. Having all the characters celebrating Christmas made the story so much more poignant. Love Zoe Chant's stories. I recommend any and all of her boo

Excellent series
I Absolutely loved this series.
I hope there’s more books to come in this series it is such a good series, anybody that is loves reading about shifters,romance,excitement, strong heroes and sassy Heroines these are the books for you. So pick up a copy and settle in for a good read you will be unable to put them down.

All the Circle B bears and their mates are gathered for some holiday cheer. The Season even does some matchmaking between a member of one of the wild clans trying to find his way in the human world and a stranded traveler. Lots of laughs as the males try to out festive each other, love and family - what more could you want in a Christmas story?

I have not read any other books in this series. Maybe if I had I would have given a higher rating. To me, this seemed like a little side story filler book. No character depth or development. They meet and an hour later they are doing the deed and sealing the mating deal. This story spent more time on other relationships within the clan than the two main characters.

I have been on a shifter binge and that is where I found Zoe. I have enjoyed many of her books since then and am working my way through them. There are some minor editing issues in her early books but not enough to give up reading them.
With many variety of shifters who are hot and true mates I am sure you will enjoy them as much as me.

Bears of Pinerock County
Here’s to another good series by Zoe Chant. I loved the series. The stories were great. Couldn’t put the books down read the whole series in three days. Highly recommend you read. All of her stories are unique to themselves. Can’t wait to start the next series. Thanks, Zoe. Keep up the good work.

I have only one complaint about all 6 of these books. They're over. This was the best series I have ever read. So much love. So much chaos. It was lovely. I absolutely LOVE your writing style. And I can hardly wait to see what else I can read from you. I read all 6 books in less than 4 days. What else do you have? Thanks. I see you.
