Thank you, Michael Pierce, for letting me be apart of a small team that gets to read the ARC copy of this book. I have been waiting for book three to come out because I was in love with the last book, and I devoured this book in a couple of days.

I would give this book a 3.5/5 stars.

I loved how this book picked up right after the second book and we follow Victoria and Bryon on their journey to save the kingdom. I liked the first book in this series, and I LOVED the second book, but this one was just eh to me. I believe that every series has that one book that is just created as a bridge to get from one book to another, a filler book just to move information and set up the next book. I believe this book to be that "bridge." I felt that even though there was so much going on, nothing huge happened. Everyone who was a huge danger in book one and two, who I thought were going to be a huge threat in book three, weren't. It was almost like everything that was happening in book one and two were just personal issues with the Queen, and in this book, we are introduced to a completely new villain and evil. I mean, I LOVE a good villain and I remember saying in my last review that I felt that the Queen wasn't really...evil, so I was actually happy and impressed that there was this new evil, that completely made sense to me as a reader. It wasn't someone completely new to the story, but something that was brewing in the background.

But, I felt like I needed something more with this book. Nothing was really solved in this book, only new ideas, and elements that were introduced to the plot and the world of Westeria. Such as, by the end of the book, I somewhat understood how things were happening, but I didn't understand why they were happening or who was completely behind it. This book seemed like a bunch of action, but no thought behind it. Everything anybody did was quick and they did the first thing that popped into their head, and if someone said no let's do my idea, they did that idea like the first person never even said anything.

I loved how we got to know Victoria and Bryon a little better; we started to see some of Bryon's flaws as well as his fears and how much Victoria meant to him in thought. I honestly didn't see their connection to one another in this book as it has been in the previous books. Yes, this book was more influenced by their surroundings and what was happening in the world, but I miss those moments when both characters would stop to think about one another. I miss those romantic scenes. I think we got maybe one of those in this book and it was a little disappointing. But I am also a reader who lives for romance in novels as well so. I loved how Victoria was very strong and independent in this book. I love how we got to get to know Kale's background a little more in the book with the introduction and the epilogue. I remember saying that I wasn't a fan of Kale, but you don't realize you miss someone until they are almost written out of the story. We hear from Kale again vaguely in the beginning of the book, and then he kind of pops in and out throughout the story either relaying information or trying to save someone (because we all kind of know that Bryon kind of sucks at it). I honestly missed Kale because even though I wasn't a fan of him, he got stuff done. He acted purely on his feelings for Victoria and he either got stuff done or he gave us another plot. I love Bryon, but he was in his own world in this book, thinking that the most important thing he could do is avenge Victoria even though she is fine and trying to save the kingdom.

If you love this series, I would 100% read this book. Even though I thought some plot points were random and we were just being introduced to a new enemy, this book was good, and with everything that the author set up everything in this book, the final book sounds honestly AMAZING. I don't know what is going to happen or how the characters will get out of their current situation. I don't know who is going to survive and what the ending will be, which I believe makes a great series.

Royal Threat is the third installment to Michael Pierce's Royal Replicas series. I read the first 2 books in the series and Royal Threat takes you immediately into the action. It is a continuation from Royal Captives where the real princess of Westeria, Princess Amelia is revealed to be alive and held "captive" of sorts from the real world. The book takes us right into Victoria's story as she is temporarily separated from Prince Byron and her friends and family.
I don't want to include any spoilers in my review but I feel there will be some references in order for my review to be in detail.
In Royal Threat, much of the story is about how Victoria is trying to find Princess Amelia and reuniting with her friends and family members. Many things are happening all at once but the author writes it brilliantly and it's easy to read the thoughts between Victoria, Byron, and those they interact with. Royal Threat is again in the split narrative between Victoria and Prince Byron and I feel it's really helpful in that these two are the main characters of the series. While others play equally important roles to move the story along, it's nice to see the differences between Victoria and Byron - Victoria seems to be tough and resilient while Byron (to me) felt a bit less tough. Not that Prince Byron isn't strong in his own sense, but if I was to compare him with her friend Kale, I'd have to say there is a noticeable difference between these two guys.
Throughout the story, several revelations are revealed and many characters from the previous books are brought together. If you haven't read the first 2 books in the series then you might be a bit confused with all the characters in the third book. There are quite a lot of characters in Royal Threat and even I had trouble remembering a few of them at times.
These are my thoughts on the main characters:
Victoria -I still very much enjoy Victoria as she seems to be the strongest in character. She is resilient, intelligent, and has a kind heart. She tries her hardest to help anyone she can even though she had a very sad and rough life growing up. There were times however, in Royal Threat, where I felt it redundant to exploit the cruelty she endured while living with the Ramsey's. I felt her torture were already explained well enough in the first 2 books.
Prince Byron - In book 3 I see where he feels the connection for Victoria better than book 2. However, while he indicates he loves Victoria, I just didn't feel that love strong enough to warrant him choosing her. Yes, we did see their relationship blossoming in book 2, and in book 1 it shows that he did like her more, but perhaps in book 4 there will be more definitive actions to how much he loves her.
Kale - In the 3rd book, Kale seems to take a back step or two from the first 2 books. Perhaps it's because book 3 centers so much on the deception of the other sisters and the doctors. I do however, like Kale much better in book 3. I can definitely see the depth of his character better in where his loyalty to Victoria really shines through.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading Royal Threat. The ending is a definite cliffhanger and I strongly suggest you read the first 2 books to really understand what is going on in Royal Threat.
Thank you, Michael for the ARC of Royal Threat!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Let me just say, I am not a disappointed reader. In fact, I am beyond happy with Royal Threat.

When Royal Replicas finished, my anxiety levels skyrocketed because of the situation Victoria found herself in. I kept thinking to myself: as if her life couldn’t get any worse? Will she succumb to an awful fate? What will Byron do? Thankfully Pierce eased my fears in a way that made me respect Victoria and Byron because of the choices they make, not only for themselves but in the best interest of others.

In Royal Threat we get to follow the story through the eyes of Victoria and Byron. I think this helps develop the story in a way that I do not think would have been possible if we were still solely following Victoria. The character development, specifically in Byron, really sheds light on his loyalties to his country, Victoria and his determination to do what is right.

However, I do want to point out that Victoria does not lose any part of who she was in the first two novels. She remains strong, independent, loyal and determined. Usually by the third book of a series the main characters seem to become weak and helpless. As I said before, the author was able to maintain every part of Victoria that made her likable and believable.

There are twists and turns that I did not expect which made me appreciate Pierce as an author because the story did not become stagnant, it continues to develop and I cannot wait to read the last book. I’m curious to find out how their story will end and I truly hope that any loose ends we had throughout the series will be answered. I have a feeling that Pierce will not let me down!

To be honest I’m going to be sad when it’s over. I’ve grown attached to Victoria and Byron.

Thank you, Michael for maintaining the integrity of your characters and the suspenseful development of their story.

This book is so riveting. This is the third book in the Royal Replica's series and continues right where book 2 left off. Warning: This series does hint on subjects of physical and mental abuse and violence.

Victoria plays a bigger part in this book. She is described well and takes more of a heroine role. I'm glad that the biggest secret was revealed in the last book-The king was not dead-and that Kale and Victoria are practically related. This allowed Victoria to focus on her true love interest, Prince Byron, instead of going back and forth between the Prince and Kale. Prince Byron is stepping up and is described more of a hero and someone that Victoria deserves, which I appreciate. He seemed so weak in the first two books. He has more one-on-one time with Victoria where we can see them bonding and are reminded of their chemistry and feelings for each other amidst all the chaos.

The clones take on a different role, which was an unexpected twist. They are in the background of the story until about the middle of the book....There is a ton more action in the book-more twists, which are brilliant! There are unexpected enemies turned allies. You cant be sure who to trust. This reminds me of The Princess Trials/Princess Games/Princess Crown with a little bit of the Selection and a little bit of the Hunger Games. Just brilliant!
I can not wait to read the last book in this series.

I received an ARC in exchange for my review and I cannot express how happy I am to continue to the Royal Replica series with this book. Overall the book was very exciting. I couldn’t put it down! I wanted to know more about what was happing with Victoria and the other girls and I couldn’t read fast enough.

My reasons for four stars instead of five stars are personal grievances and in no way reflect the actual story. I would love to know more about Prince Byron and his family. Maybe a short novella explaining more about the war in Easteria would help. I’m also hoping the final book will answer some questions about the new twist explained about the clones in this book. I don’t want to comment more so I don’t give a spoiler away.

I highly recommend this book and the Royal Replica series in general. I was a huge fan of the Selection series and this feels series is similar without being a copy. As well as the intense action and science/technology aspects added bonuses without being too far out of reality.

I really liked this book and how you see Victoria growing in strength and truly making an identity for herself outside of just being a clone. I thought it was interesting how Byron almost seemed to appear weaker as Victoria became a more formidable force. The plot twists, again, were great! Something that has bothered me though between Royal Captives and Royal Threat is almost the excusing of the abuse that Mackenzie has caused towards Constance and Victoria. It feels like the author is almost humanizing him. I started to like the Queen throughout this book as you saw her love for Amelia, but then I had to remind myself that she basically handed Victoria over to be “broken in” to the Duke. Now with Mackenzie, he has almost become part of the “team” and gaining everyone’s trust. I’m not sure, it could just be the author demonstrating how often abusers get away with their deeds and the feeling of helplessness felt by their victims. I’m hoping this may be something corrected in the next book and Constance can have her well deserved justice.

“Clones are going rogue…
Allies and enemies are becoming targets…
No one is safe.”

Whew, how could anyone resist that? I certainly couldn’t - but then, of course, I’ve already become addicted to this series by Michael Pierce thanks to its wonderful first two books, Royal Replicas (book 1) and Royal Captives (book 2), both of which I both highly recommend in general and strongly urge be read before this book 3, Royal Threat. Having said that, I can at least give comfort to my fellow addict that Royal Threat delivers the goods. It has all the mystery, intrigue, murders, thrills a reader could ask for, plus we get to know a lot more about Victoria and Bryon. Loads of fun and highly recommended. Now the only problem is that I have to wait all the way till April for book 4, Royal Return, to be released. Humph.

After the last book reader expect no more surprise: they are wrong. Challenge after threats, Victoria and her friend face their new enemies. And as time pass by, we learn more about the reason behind each allegiance. And why those ties can be so fragile.
A plot that became darker and holds more ramifications after each page. We can feel that we are just scrapping the surface and that is why I love this book. It keeps you on your toes just as much as the characters are waiting for the next shoe to drop.
I went through this book fast and crashed down on the last page, gasping for air. Don’t hold your breath too much, there is still one more book in the Royal Replicas series.

In this book you will discover lots of action and palace intrigue. There were so many surprises there was hardly a breather in between chapters. Mystery, murders, mayhem, you think things are about to settle down then you get blindsided by something totally unexpected. Nothing is as it seems and no one is as they are supposed to be. If you plan on reading this continuing saga of the Royal Replicas, then be prepared to end up sitting on the edge of your seat. Absolutely chilling! You definitely won’t want to miss out on this one.

I’m a bit preprogrammed because I thought the third in the series would be the last book.
Nevertheless this one didn’t disappoint, plenty suspense and intrigue amongst the royals!

It’s hard to keep track of everyone but that’s part of the thrill.
Because of the chips and malicious doctors you never know who will turn bad next.

Hopefully the conclusion will come out soon and the characters will have something of a happily ever after.

I received a copy and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Oh wow

Malditos

OMG, the twist and turns keep coming. It brings all the clone princesses into the picture. More about what the Queen and Doctors were doing. The ending leaves you up in the air on what is going to happen. Can't wait for the next book to see what is going to happen now that everything is left for you to guess. The only thing I think I would have done different is put Kale's story into another book instead of at the beginning and at the end. I received an arc copy for my honest review.

I have become fully invested with the characters of this series. I am eager to know more and see where the author will take us on this emotional and page turning journey! Thank you for such a fabulously written series that has kept me on the edge of my seat with each and every page turn.

Action packed but...

The story is full of the action that I’ve enjoyed through the other two books, but I felt the writing wasn’t as descriptive. The dialogue, at times, lacked indications of delivery or feeling for random stretches. I’m interested to see how the story continues, but hope we get more thorough descriptions moving forward.

The story is still amazing, and this would've gotten 5 stars, if it wasn't for the glaring spelling and grammar mistakes throughout. This book needed some copy-editing. There was a part where I didn't know if it was Tabatha or Tabitha, and that really takes away from the story by diverting the reader's attention.

Great read!

This series has a lot of twists and turns that will surely surprise you. I loved how Victoria has evolved in the story though Byron needs to step up and show more courage and skill in leadership. I also love Kale’s character. He is brave, sincere and with a sense of compassion. Can’t wait to read the next book.

While Royal Captives felt more like a filler book and bored me most of the time, this one kept me entertained and speeding through the pages. Royal Threat is probably my favorite book in the Royal Replicas series. ALSO THAT COVER 😍

I don't know why I'm still sticking with the series. Each book is better than the previous but for some reason, I still can't warmup to the characters. Just one book to go and I'd gladly put it behind me.

This book was fantastic! Once again Micheal Pierce has created another great story!

Royal Threat picks right up where the last book Royal Captives left off. Full of even more action, bittersweet tragedies and revenge. Micheal Pierce had me even feeling for some of the villains.

Victoria is fighting for her life once again while also trying to keep everyone around her from the crossfire. Prince Byron lets everyone know no one will hurt the ones he cares about, especially Victoria. Everyone is just trying not to loose everything.

Full of betrayal no one knows who to trust and no where is safe. Right along with the rest of the series, it is fast paced and full of twists! The ending of Royal Threat was by far the best cliff hanger. I can't wait to find out what will happen next!
