Writing is a way to make a lot of different people do exactly what you want them to do. When I can’t get my toddler to listen to me, I turn to my characters. They always cooperate!

I currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina with my husband and seven year old son. I have perfected the ability to write in a noisy house and create story lines while folding laundry.

Ten Things to know about me:

1. I have a fear of whales. All whales. The noise they make. The sight of them (even on tv). I don't think this phobia has a name and I've never met anyone else who feels this way. I blame it on the 3D movie when I was 7 at the Boston Museum of Science. (Thanks Dad.)

2. When I get hungry it brings out the worst in me. My friends and family know to keep me well fed. They pack snacks now.

3. I can cook but not bake. Not even a little. Not even a box of brownies.

4. If there is a song I like it is normal to hear me listening to it a hundred times (give or take) in a row.

5. I do not, under any circumstances, read directions. Who has time for that? Making mac & cheese by the seat of my pants for the last 25 years.

6. Like a black-out drunk, I have lost hours of my life mysteriously to Pinterest. If you haven't tried it yet... don't. Save your self.

7. Before I became a mother, lots of things grossed me out. Now nothing does.

8. My favorite food is food... my least favorite food is no food. I love food. (apply the same rule to wine)

9. I do not have a green thumb. I have the kind of thumb that kills any type of plant ever given to me. Whatever kind of thumb that is... I have it.

10. Writing has changed my life. Not just the career it's created but the way I feel when I write. If you have something you love to do I hope you get the opportunity to do it.

Edenville at its best!

Edenville is the home of some of my best friends - created by a super talented young writer. When you read the books written by Danielle Stewart, you do become friends with the characters. These are people you would take home for your parents to meet, you would gather around the table with them to share a meal and would trust them enough to allow your children to have sleepovers with them, and there are tons of other reasons to love them. Unearthing Truth shows the determination of all of them, even when it can mean problems for this family group. When Paisley arrives in Edenville to search for the daughter of a serial killer, action of a sinister mood threatens not only Paisley but the serenity Piper Anderson and her entire family have experienced since the serial killer's death. Not wanting to upset the serenity they have achieved but still determined to help Paisley, the family gets involved in another great, spine tingling escapade. You do not want to miss this book in the Piper Anderson series. It is one you cannot put down once you read the first page. Enjoy!

I very much enjoyed this book. It mixed old characters with new ones.

Paisely Blackwood comes to town to find her aunt's killer. But what she finds is so much more, if she will allow herself to trust. Trust doesn't come easily to her, her whole life has been about finding her Aunt's killer, a quest her mom started before Paisely was even born.

Enter Betty, Bobby, Piper, Michael and Jules who are leary of her but agree to help her on her quest even if it exposes them.

There were twists and turns in the story and the writing was taught. We got to see more of how things are really for Bobby and Piper after all of these years of living with the knowledge she was raised by a serial killer and he stepped aside when justice was served.

Paisely is a stubborn and determined young woman. She finds friends in this quirky little town that has deep secrets that need to stay buried. Here she also befriends Lennon, a local newspaper reporter who is on the silly side but makes her laugh.

Of course no book from this series would be complete without Betty and her quips of wisdom. Everyone should have a Betty in their lives! She is wonderful.

Another intriguing story b6 Danielle. Loved this series and once again suspense reigns in the story. Paisley is a woman who is out to prove the truth for her mother and herself. She becomes one of Edenvilles citzens. Great story.

This probably would have received more stars if it had been recently that I had read the other books in the series.but I had to remember as I went along. Paisley was also not the most sympathetic character which made it difficult to root for her.

Great book! I have read all the books in this series and each one gets better. Loved how Danielle brought the Railroad Killer story back with a couple new characters, but yet meshed them with all the local characters we have come to love.

Wow another brilliant 5 star read

Wow another brilliant 5 star read from Danielle. I have to say although I felt sorry fir Paisley in this book I dint like har for a good long while into the book she was rude, spiteful and stubborn, I did like Lennon lol he has this quirkiness about him like Betty. But you get a insight to why Piper's stepfather Roberto was the way he was and that put a lot to rest.
It bothered me no one wanted to know why either.

Kept with the storyline of the other 6 books in this series, and did not fail to keep me reading until I was finished with it, again. Some twists and turns you never see coming, always throw me, but I love that in a book.
GREAT read if you enjoy this series!!

Fabulous

I have loved the Piper Anderson series since book one which was released several years ago. The characters, the town of Edenville -- all of it is so heartwarming and special. You know an author has done her job when you wish you could move there and be friends with this amazing group of people. Ann's of course anytime a new comer arrives, Betty is always there with food, pie, and a warm heart that gets people talking and telling their stories.

Another fabulous read, as a standalone or as part of the series.
