Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

This book had all my favorite tropes. Older man younger woman, virginal heroine playboy hero and pregnancy. I loved it! It was sweet, steamy and even romantic! Tobias was sex on legs and vulnerable at the same time. Great hero! <3

"Bred By the Billionaire" is the story of Adora and Tobias.
45 year old manwhore Tobias is getting old *Eye-roll*, and is being pressured by his snooty parents to have a baby. He fucks anything with legs, but things come to a halt when he notices his cleaner's 20 year old daughter Adora, and instantly wants to breed her.
He then stalks and manipulates her to have his child, and she agrees with 0.1% reluctance.
Honestly, I despised the hero in this one. He completely disregarded the heroine's wishes and his change of behavior (from slut to loyal) was completely unbelievable. The heroine too, was a wuss because one minute she wanted a better future for her family, the next she was agreeing to shag this guy sans protection for a baby.
Also the magical resolution of all issues at the end was so unbelievable.
Naaaaaah.
Safeeeee..ish
1.5/5 (a very generous rating coz I spent my food money on this)

For me the author pushed how Adorable was strong and independent and could not be “bought”. That didn’t last long at all. I think that was the biggest disconnect for me because that though process never changed even though she was in his bed and in love in a week.

I had hoped for a stronger willful heroine.

Happy reading! DD

The next Bennett and love was waste of time to TOBIAS BENNETT until he meets sweetness and innocence personified - Adora Garcia!

Here we have an arrogant 45- year old billionaire by the name of Tobias Bennett being pressured by his controlling and unloving parents to have an heir by one of the many women they've selected. Well Tobias being a Bennett meets his maid's 20-year old, virgin daughter, Adora Garcia whose of Latin descent and realized that she was who he wanted to have and bred with. Indecent proposition no doubt but that's the way of arrogant Tobias Bennett whose wasn't seeking a wife, only an heir! Ya' see, love was highly overrated emotion to the Bennett family. When Adora says no to his indecent proposition and that she couldn't be bought, Tobias ups his ante' and tells her Maria, her mother would lose her job with him... so for the love of her mother Adora submits and the breeding proceeds as planned.

At first, boy did I hate this cocky hero but by 39 % into the tale, Tobias did a turnaround and redeemed himself to me and not only was he thinking about sweet and innocent Adora differently, he started to fall hard for the architect student and that 'L' word became an immediate thought. He was also more conscious of how his late brother, Maximus was similar so similar to Adora --wanting love first over his dubious grand scheme of only seeking an heir which I thought was inspiring considering how his brother had died and his parents hide it from the world. Ya' see Tobias didn't want to endure what his older brother needed to live and continue to let his duty-bound parents control his life when he had the controlling shares in his profitable company. After all, he was the spare child after the heir, Maximus had died of an overdose of heroin.

This tale had a lot of drama/ twists and turns and who knew moments due to Tobias' parent's underhanded deals and Adora's absentee father who was a well known architect who Tobias and his family had held with high regards. You see in this engaging story that the rich might have money but money does not make happy people always!

All in all, this was a great collaboration by Crescent and Espino which was a excellent start to a new series.

Look forward in reading the next book, "Bred by the Bushmen."

Tobias Bennett can have anything he wants and after his families continual pressure to marry and create an heir. Tobias has a better idea though, he just wants to find a woman who will carry his heir and call it good. However when he sees Adora Garcia it is instant lust and he wants her to be the mother of his child.

Adora is picking up her mother when she meets Tobias, her mother is Tobais's maid and she didn't expect to meet the man she had heard about. She know he is a playboy and she is focused on college, but when Tobias makes her an offer that stuns her. Adora declines but Tobias doesn't plan to lose, will Adora agree to what Tobias is offering without losing her heart?

This was highly entertaining, liked this couple a lot. I would have liked it to be a bit longer but the chemistry between Tobias and Adora is electric and you cant help but continue reading to find out what happens between them. Can't wait for the next book..

I Voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book

All Tobias wanted was to get his parents off his back, and by doing that he needed a heir. But where was he going to find someone as all the women he knew wanted so much more from him. And he doesn't have it in him to give it. And then he meets Adora Garcia. His maid's daughter, and he knew that she was the right one for him. He would breed her set her up in a nice apartment and that would be it. But from the moment he meets her, she challenges him on everything.

Adora Garcia was studying to be a architect, and she was focused because she wanted better for her and her mother. She didn't want to be like her mother who go knocked up by an older rich man and then he threw her away and wanted nothing to do with her. That's why when Tobias made it clear he wanted her, she wanted nothing to do with him. But she couldn't deny the attraction she felt, but she wanted something he couldn't give her, Love!

I enjoyed this one, sweet, sex and lots of drama drama drama. I love these two authors, their books are awesome! And this start to a new series is awesome!!

I really enjoyed this first book in the series. It was sweet, sexy and hot, with some drama, that I love.
Honeslty, Tobias surprised me. I wasn't expecting him... Well, let's just say the surprise was good one. Thought, that doesn't mean he wasn't an arrogant ass sometimes. But even that was somehow endearing. Tobias made me to like him from the beginning. Maybe because I just knew there was more to him, then even he himself knew. That he had a heart. That he was special. Tobias just needed the right woman to realize it.
I loved how he was with Adora. Even at the beginning. It may seemed as him being selfish, wanting to use Adora and discard her, but even then I could see it was much more. Even thought Tobias didn't realizes it himself yet. And the saying 'actions speaks louder then words' comes to mind.

h made no sense to me: one second she was shouting at H that she didn't want to be used by him like her mom by her dad; she wouldn't be bought, and she wanted to finish school, then her underwent anxiety attack, then the next second they're kissing and made out, and not long after she was asking his love…

Tobias Bennett is a 45 year old rich, successful businessman who is single. He took over his family’s business and made it even more successful than it was but now his parents are bugging him for an heir. They want him to marry a “proper” woman and have a child to carry on the Bennett name. The problem was he didn’t really want a wife, he devoted most of his time to the Bennett Corporation. When he was 16 years old his brother, Maximus who was 19 at the time died of a heroin overdose. His parents who only care about appearances covered up the truth of his addiction and his death. His brother never wanted to be like their parents who are cold and uncaring he just wanted someone to love him. Their Father said love was a weakness and resented Maximus for his addiction. Adora is 20 years old and going to college to receive a degree in Architecture. Her Mother, Maria is a maid who has been working for Tobias Bennett for 10 years. Her Mother fell in love with a rich businessman years ago and they had a relationship until he found out she was pregnant and then he turned his back on her. That man is Adora’s Father and he owns the best architectural firm in the city but her Mom has no idea that Adora read her journal and that she knows who her Dad is. Maria asks Adora to pick her up at work because her car is in the shop and it’s the first time she’s ever met Tobias. When Tobias enters his living room fresh from the shower wearing only pants he’s mesmerized by the gorgeous woman looking out his window. As soon as he talks to Adora he knows she will be the mother of his child no matter what it takes.

Bred by the Billionaire...
Well I'm sure you can already guess where this story went.
Older hero decides he's getting old and needs an heir.
Virgin heroine who is so sweet and pretends to want to make the hero work for her, but ends up giving in within about 2.5 seconds.

I wasn't sure why the heroine was so upset about the hero's ex-girlfriend talking about his sexual prowess. She knew before he was a playboy and although she's a virgin, she can't be that dumb and naive to realize that women are catty and will say whatever they need to to make others jealous.

The ending to this book was just so abrupt. I guess with Sam Crescent books I'm used to a bit more in the future kind of epilogues and there wasn't anything like that here. There should've been more like maybe a look into how the hero was able to change his "cold" ways and become a father and husband.

This book is: ...OK-ish? It is not terrible, but it is far from great. It's a book you can read if you don't want to read something intricate or just want something to do to pass the time.

The plot is: repetitive and quite boring. The title is also (in my opinion) a bit crude for a story that is a bit more romantic than the title lets on.
The beginning is: intriguing.
The middle is: boring.
The crescendo is: ... is there even one? Nothing really happens in the book.
The finish/ending is: rushed. I want more. I want a longer and more in-depth epilogue.

The characters are: boring.
The worldbuilding is: ... I don't know. Since one of the main characters is an architect in the making, I would have thought there would be some depth to the worldbuilding, but no.

Would I recommend this book? Yes/no? Why/why not? No, there are so many better books out there to read instead of this book.

this book is so bad.

-----“You’re mine, Adora. This pussy is mine. I’m going to take care of you. You, our baby, everyone.” His hands
stroked up her body, cupping her breasts. “Soon, they’re going to be full of our baby’s milk. I want to watch you feed our child.----

My man just wanted a heir form adora. He didnt give nothing. Adora has been thru so much and so has tobias. but... it just didnt feel good enough. I dont even know why i read this book tbh. this was so bad onggg

———She looked like a fucking angel. He’d chosen well. Adora had wide hips for child bearing and lush tits to nurse his baby. Just thinking about filling her with his seed made him feel like a horny teenager.———

What should I even say💀

I actually quite enjoyed this book, which may be surprising considering that I'm giving it 3 stars. The thing is, though, that there were a few things that just kind of stuck out enough to bother me.

One of them was the pacing of the story itself. Things happened far too quickly between the couple than it, in my opinion, should have. If the book was at least a hundred pages more, maybe even a hundred fifty, then thimgs could've been handled at pace that makes sense to me.

Another thing, leading off from that, I understand why the heroine fell as fast as she did, but she just caved faster than I thought was realistic for a character like her. I understand why the author did it, but it doesn't mean I have to be fond of it.

I also felt that this could've had a lot more going on and have consequences that weren't so easy to solve. That Adora took the problems and made to solve them in her own way instead of going to Tobias and having him fix everything for her would have been nice. Just the author proving to me that Adora was an independent and stubborn woman more than telling me would have been appreciated. Seeing the development of the characters would have been great and the growing dynamic having more screen time would be awesome.

What also would have been awesome was seeing more of the interactions between the main characters and the side characters, specifically between Adora and her mother and Tobias and his brother.

There was also scenes that I thought should have been written out instead of just having it happen off screen and telling the reader about it. One scene that comes to mind right away was between Adora and Katerina at the restaurant. There was more telling than showing and it kind of stood out to me.

Now, it's not like I didn't like the book (I said this already), I'm just noticing things that I beleive would have made the experience more filling for me. What I did like was the premise of the book. It had a lot of potential and could have done so much.

And though I rag on the couple of the book, I do still like them. They weren't bad and still enjoyable to read about, there were just some missed opportunities. I enjoyed them for the basics that were them and their relationship.

For me, this book felt like it was missing more, but it was enjoyable for what I would consider the basic and bare bones of a story. It was still entertaining, but not as filling as I thought it would be.

If you decide to read this book, don't expect something extravagant or having your mind blown, just set your expectations low and roll with it.

A Lovely Combination of Sexy and Substantial...

I will admit, when I first saw the title of this book I rolled my eyes a bit. Then when I read that it was part of a larger "breeding" series, I rolled my eyes a lot, and took a long pause to argue internally about whether I should read it. However my resolve to read across all tropes won out so read it I did. And, I was pleasantly surprised at what I found.

"Bred by the Billionaire" by Sam Crescent and Stacey Espino is the first book in their Breeding Season Series. It is the story of Tobias Bennett, a forty-five year old business mogul and seasoned bachelor. A relentlessly driven perfectionist raised to be devoid of emotion by his equally ruthless and money driven parents. A man conditioned to care only about his work, yet expected to pass on his family's billion dollar corporation to an heir. An expectation that completely contradicts his father's conditioning of "love and family are distractions that make you weak". And Adora Garcia, a twenty year old architecture student and daughter of Tobias's cleaning woman Maria. A woman that unexpectedly catches his eye and leads to a nefarious plan.

What follows is honestly something I didn't expect, a book that, despite its title, is deeper than it appears. Under the overarching frame of, "I need an heir to get my relentless parents off my back", was a surprisingly straightforward exploration of classism, privileged snobbery, and discrimination. It is a fairly affecting tale of what happens when someone enters your life only to confront everything you've ever been taught to believe, shattering your world view, and leaving you confused and struggling to comprehend fact from bourgeois fiction. All while being sexy and properly smutty.

It was a lovely combination of all the older man/younger woman, alpha driven, sexy chemistry driven romance fans of these authors have come to expect. All the while also including something more substantial, something a bit more complex to also make you ponder life, and see things from different perspectives.

Is it a tad simplistic in some places, a bit far fetched and over the top in others? Sure. However, it is emotionally intelligent overall and I have never been so happy to be surprised. It was a joy to delve into this story and find something attention grabbing, and stimulating to both mind and body. It's definitely worth the read, and sparked my enjoyment to an unexpected level, one that will lead me on to the next book in the series for sure.

I give a 4 smutty star and 3.5 stars for the story. Bred by the billionaire is by far a modern adaptation of cinderella. Well, at least an empowered cinderella, where the heroine is an aspiring hard working woman who struggle to get her degree and career despite of her financial situation. Though, i dont really think this kinda plot would actually happen in a real world. But, hey, we need to let our mind wander and go beyond our wildest dream from time to time, right?

Meet Tobias Bennet, a billionaire extraordinaire with arrogant attitude, who thought that every woman in this world would worshipped him for his look and money. He met Adora Garcia, sexy curvy latina whose also an A grade architecture student. He attracted to Adora when he first met her in his apartment. You see, Adora was the daughter of Tobias' cleaner who happened to be in his apartment to pick her mother up. After the instant attraction that he felt, Tobias proposed Adora to become the mother of children. Adora refused at 1st, ofcourse. No money in the world could buy her, let alone her innocence. But what a girl can do, when a hunk-sexy-as-sin-and-rich-as-midas chase her relentlesly and proposed to be the mother of his children? (Yep, children. Plural !!) So when she finally gave in, she need to figure out how to make Tobias realized that he actually loved her too?

Can she warm his food heart?

Tobias has decided at forty-five he needs to start thinking about an heir for his fortune. He figures he'll find a woman he can get pregnant, then stash her and his kid in a house somewhere while he continues on with his life. Then he meets Adora Garcia, his housekeeper's daughter and suddenly all he wants is the beautiful innocent woman in front of him. Adora has always put getting college and a good job at the top of her list, even at twenty being a virgin doesn't bother her. She definitely wants to call in love one day and have kids, it's just not a priority right now. Tobias doesn't believe in love, therefore can not offer it to Adora, but he can offer her financial stability, fidelity and making sure she never wants for anything. For Adora that just isn't enough, so Tobias decides to blackmail her into having his heir. If you want to know how that works out For him, read this book today. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!

Adora Garcia was warned by her mother about Tobias Bennett. He was a playboy and was not a man to fall for. When Tobias spies Adora in his home he is intrigued but more than that. His parents had been harping on him to have an heir. He may have found the one that would be perfect but he first has to gain her trust. You have to give it to Adora, she knew where her future lie and didn’t want to change that course. She saw her mother’s past and wanted to avoid the same. Tobias had to work for it and he also learned that it isn’t easy to not fall in love with a woman that draws you in. His parents are a piece of work. Adora’s mother did what a mother does, protect her young. And Adora’s father, well he was no better then Tobias’ parents.

I loved this book. It has the asshole, virginal heroine, breeding trope...and I do love a good breeding story.

I loved the banter between Adora (loved her name) and Tobias (I actually laughed at his name with the way I know its pronunciation is killed To-bias To-biias...). I loved that Adora held onto her hope of changing Tobias, of making him see that love was the way. And the fact that he was super jealous of her, the only thing he honestly didn't do was pee in a circle around her. I also loved their smut scenes and his dirty talk.

Loved it. Would recommend it. And it was also an appropriate length, I just wish it had an epilogue.

I've been reading a lot of WTF dark reads so I found this book to be refreshingly formulaic. No mental gymnastics needed to follow this plot. I appreciated the lack of unnecessary hurt and anguish that many authors feel inclined to write into unconventional romances. I would recommend this book as a palate cleanser to anyone suffering PTSD from some of the more darker reads out there. The only thing that bothered me was how we initially were introduced to the female as being dwarfed by the hero only to later be continually reminded of how "big" she was. I guess she's tiny and fat? All in all good read if you just want something easy to digest without being boring.
