Grady by Gretchen Rily is the first book in Must Love Rock Stars series and my first book by this author. This story follows Grady Baker the leader signer of Bourbon Suicide and Evie Person the band’s pyrotechnician for the current tour. You should never mix business with pleasure in the Rock World or should you when the chemistry is off the charts?
I couldn’t put this book down once I started reading it. The main characters were easy to love from the first “cockbag” to the last. Loved the secondary characters, they brought the most comedy to this story. Can’t wait to read the other band members stories.
If you are like me and love Rock Star Romance, you should definitely read this book.

This is the first book that I have read from this author and wow she blew me away. I love rockstar romances and this talented author did not disappoint in this story. This is the first book to the Must Love Rockstars series. This is the perfect start to an amazing series. This author now has a new fan. I could not put this book down. It was so addictive I read it in only one day.
Grady Baker is a name that is screamed all around the world. He is the lead singer to a very popular rock band called Bourbon Suicide. Grady is the son of a eighties singer and he is always compared to his father. He is nothing like his father. Grady could get any girl he wants but one. He can’t get his mind off Evie the new fire girl for his band. Grady tries so hard to impress her but he always fails. One day he finally starts to show his true side of himself and that is when Evie starts to open her eyes. Will Grady get the girl or will his life be too hard to handle for her?
Evie Pearson finally has the job that she has always wanted since she was a little girl. She is hired to run the pyrotechnics for a major rock band. Evie will not let anything stand in her way of her dreams not even a gorgeous rockstar. She puts up a wall around her heart and career. Evie doesn’t like Grady at first because he shows off and is very conceded just like her last boyfriends. She doesn’t give Grady the time of day until she sees the true man that he is. Evie starts to trust him and they start to build a friendship but can she give her heart once again? Will Evie see a different kind of spark or will it just fizzle?
I absolutely loved this book. The storyline will have you hooked all the way until the end. This story has it all romance, betrayal, and a lot of sparks flying. You will fall in love with both characters. You will also fall for some of the secondary characters as well. I can’t wait to read the rest of the bands stories. Evie is very strong and independent which I loved. She is no damsel. She can take care of herself. Evie is beautiful inside and out but she builds a wall due to her past. Grady is not your typical rockstar. He has a heart of gold that loves his family. Grady had two sides to him the rockstar and the man. When you see the real side of him it will make you swoon. These two characters have sparks flying right from the beginning. They have some steamy scene that will make your toes curl. My favorite part is the author wrote this book in both characters points of views. This gives you more of a personal feeling with the characters. I can’t wait and see what is in store for Grady and Evie next.

Grady (Must Love Rock Stars) fits right into my wheelhouse. Sexy, well rounded and grounded rock star romance.
This is the first time I've read a book by Gretchen Rily and when I looked up when the next book in this series would be out, I was super stoked to see there is already a series about a minor character featured in this book.
This story has well developed main and secondary characters. It has a beginning, middle and an end that is very satisfying and I am so glad I read this book. I read the entire book on 1 sitting and look forward to reading more.
I absolutely recommend this story and look forward to reading about the other members of Bourbon Suicide soon!!

The story Grady (Must Love Rock Stars) by Gretchen Rily is a contemporary romantic comedy. It is a book that I loved reading and didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Grady Baker and Evie Pearson. Evie is a woman who is strong, beautiful, and does a wonderful job as a pyrotechnician for Grady’s band Bourbon Suicide. Grady is a man that while he is famous also has a kind heart and is someone who wants to help others. In the beginning, Evie doesn’t seem to give a second or even a first glace at Grady. One of the reasons for this is the Evie has put up a wall around herself to protect both her career and her heart. She has a job that she loves and doesn’t want anything to jeopardize it. It also means that life can get lonely. Grady can’t figure out why Evie has warmed up to everyone but him. He is a man that with just a smile can have any woman that he wants, however it is Evie that he finds himself thinking of. These two soon find themselves friends. These two also have a strong attraction to each other and it is shown by the intense emotions that they feel when together. There is definitely chemistry between them. Will Grady get Evie to take a chance and take their relationship past being friends? Evie does the pyro special effects for the band. Will she and Grady find the sparks flying between themselves just as they do on stage? This story has scenes where you will have a smile on your face. The author has written two characters that you know are in love with each other and that you will be rooting for to find a happy ending together. There are also quite a few other characters that you are introduced to and I loved reading about them as well. I loved how there are characters that not only accept Evie but are protective of her as well. Read this book to find out if Grady and Evie find their HEA! This is the first book that I have read by the author and it will not be the last. It is a story that draws you in from the very beginning and has characters that you will fall in love with. I can’t wait to read what she writes next. This book does have mature subject matter and I would recommend for those 18 years of age or older.

Grady (Must Love Rock Stars) by Gretchen Rily is a contemporary romance story that will pull you in from the beginning. This is my first story by this author and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I know that I will be reading more of her books. I enjoyed her writing style that kept the story flowing and her attention to details made me feel like I was right there. Her characters are connectable, lovable and true to life. They will take you on a roller coaster ride of various emotions from laughter to compassion. This is the story of Grady and Evie. Grady is a rock start who is use to everyone screaming praise at him but when he meets Evie she isn't so impressed. He has two sides to him, the man and the rock star. Evie is a woman that has been hurt before so she has put up a wall to protect her heart and job. She loves her job, she doesn't want anything to kill that for her. Grady has become confused on why she is warm to everyone but him. The problem is that he just can't seem to get her out of his head. When they find themselves become friends, you can just feel the attraction between the two of them. Will he convince her to give him a chance? Will she give them a chance to move past their friendship? Their chemistry is so great, they are just great together. Grady is so strong, caring, loving but then you have the rocker side that is so different. It is great to see the softer side of him. Evie is strong, loving and just beautiful inside and out but she just doesn't want to take the chance of losing her job even if she gets a little lonely sometimes. Their chemistry is off the charts and I found myself hoping they would find their HEA. The secondary characters in this story are just as lovable and connectable. I highly recommend this story as I know you will want to see what happens with this couple!

I love a good rock star book and Grady by Gretchen Rily is one of the best ones I have read in a long time. This is the story of Grady Baker, the lead singer of hit rock band Bourbon Suicide and pyro technician, Evie Pearson. Grady is everything that Evie needs to stay away from attractive, rich and a rock superstar. She’s been burned once and will never put herself in that position again. Grady can have anyone he want so why does he want Evie so much when she won’t even give him the time of day?
Evie stays separate from the other roadies and she does her best staying away from Grady too that is until he makes it hard for her to continue ignoring him. After spending a little time with Grady, Evie finds that he isn’t at all what she expected, Grady is kind, loving and generous, and he truly has a heart of gold. All her plans of keeping away from him are tossed away and she finds herself drawn to him the more time they spend with one another. Unfortunately not everyone is happy with her being in a relationship with the rock god, leaving her to choose what means more, her career or her new found love.
I really, really liked this book. I figured I would be reading one of those light romantic stories but found this one to be so much deeper than that. I loved reading about Grady and how alone you can feel even when surrounded by thousands of screaming fans, not to mention how he had two separate identities, Stage Grady and Real life Grady. I also found Evie to be a deep character, the problems she had working in a male dominant career was enlightening, you never think of the technical workers when you go to a concert. The author did a terrific job telling the reader just what type of hoops Evie had to jump through just to get a job. I will definitely be following this author from now on, and I look forward to reading more in this series it was that good!

Rock Star romance stories are amongst one of my all-time favourites to read and Grady was up there with some of the best ones! I thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of it. Gretchen Rily is a brand new author to me so it was great to find someone whose books I know I am going to love. One of the main things I loved so much about this book was the uniqueness of the storyline and especially Evie’s job role in the story!
I just adored the two main characters Grady and Evie. I was always going to love Grady – he’s a sexy rock star after all but he also wasn’t what I was expecting at all. At the beginning of the story his mom said that there were two Grady’s and there truly were but they were both equally as captivating. Evie was just awesome! I loved her job and she was so fabulous at it! I loved how she worked hard to get to where she wanted to be especially in a male orientated field.
The chemistry between Grady and Evie was great and it was obvious that there was the mutual attraction there. There were some pretty hot sex scenes in this book so it is definitely recommended for mature readers only!
Overall I thought this book was just amazing! It was well written, had a great storyline, very likeable characters both main and secondary and a nice pace to it. I will definitely be eagerly awaiting the next book in this series!

Grady by Gretchen Rily is the first standalone HEA in the Must Love Rock Star series. This is the first book I have read by this author and I wasn’t disappointed. The author keeps you hooked from page one and makes you not want to put it down. It keeps you turning pages to find out what’s coming next, it keeps you wondering and on the edge of your seat. I loved this book and reading about Grady Baker and Evie Pearson. Grady is in a rock band called Bourbon Suicide and while he is every girls rocker dream there is more to him the just the rock star aspect. He has a kind heart and likes to help others when he can, which says a lot. Evie Pearson is a beautiful and strong woman who lives in a man’s world. She is the pyrotechnician for the band at the moment. Evie doesn’t give Grady the time of day as she doesn’t want anything to come between her job as she loves it. It doesn’t help her boss isn’t the greatest guy and doesn’t believe she is right for the jobs. Grady finds himself intrigued by Evie but is it because she doesn’t give him the time of day? Can the two figure out their attraction for each other or will they go on with ignoring each other? This story not only had amazing main characters but some awesome supporting characters who helped make this story. Grady is the head of a highly successful rock band and could have his pick of any numbers of girls but it’s the one that ignores him that he can’t seem to get out of his mind. Will he be able to show her that he is so much more than his rock and roll persona?
While Grady was building his empire Evie was busy putting herself though school. Now that she has her dream job as a pyrotechnician for a rock band she’s not about to let anything, or anyone get in her way. She knows that sleeping with Grady is a bad idea so she avoids it for as long as possible. At least until she starts to get to know the real Grady it isn’t long before their newfound friendship has turned into so much more for both of them.

OMgosh! This was such a good read! I really enjoyed going along for the ride with Bourbon Suicide. It was interesting meeting all the band members and a few of the crew. Evie was great! I have never read a story about a pyrotechnic girl and the struggles she has on the road or working. Evie and Grady we so great together! I love how they interact and many times how Grady was so nice to Evie. I like that right at the beginning Grady states how he goes from regular guy to rock star or vice versa. Very Interesting! I loved how Darcy introduced herself and called Evie “exploder of fire”. Ha ha so great! Grady’s Mom,Suzy, was a wonder! Always there and understanding and you know...Mom-ing everyone. She is very insightful!
This is my first Gretchen Rily story and it was enjoyable! The main and secondary characters each stood on their own and meshed well together. My only issue was many times I wasn’t sure who was talking during conversations especially with Grady and Evie. So I did a lot of rereading to get back in the groove with the conversation.
I was excited to see there will be another book in the series!

OMgosh! This was such a good read! I really enjoyed going along for the ride with Bourbon Suicide. It was interesting meeting all the band members and a few of the crew. Evie was great! I have never read a story about a pyrotechnic girl and the struggles she has on the road or working. Evie and Grady we so great together! I love how they interact and many times how Grady was so nice to Evie. I like that right at the beginning Grady states how he goes from regular guy to rock star or vice versa. Very Interesting! The band members are not related yet are closer and have one another's back more than most biological families. Even though they live/work together they have a great respect and friendship for one another. I love the banter and humor that is voiced throughout Grady’s story.
“He has that kind of reckless energy that pulls people in. It makes for a great showman, but I’ve been swept up in that kind of energy before, and it isn’t worth the exhaustion of dealing with off stage.”
When you basically raised yourself and only have yourself to depend on you can't risk losing focus or working towards your goals. Even when your heart wants one thing…. you have to weigh the pros and cons and do what's best for yourself in the long run. What would be worth risking your future and putting your career on the line? A night? A tour? A few memories?

SO STINKING SWEET!! I loved this book. Grady by Gretchen Rily is about a woman named Evie who is a Pyro technician trying to make it on tour with a famous rock band. She is the one of the only women roadies and when the band’s front man, Grady tries to make a move…he’s brutally rebuffed. Evie is trying to make it in a male only world and try to prove herself and she doesn’t need a bad decision, namely Grady, to ruin her chances. Grady is not taking no for an answer. He is super smitten with this girl and he tries to do everything he can to make it happen. With his persistence and with the help of his bandmates and family, he woos Evie out of her shell. These two really have a great chemistry together and their personalities balance each other out. The supporting characters were awesome. This story is very light hearted and definitely a page turner. I couldn’t put the book down! There are definitely some sexy scenes in this book and boy do they not disappoint. They are hot and steamy and definitely risqué! This isn’t a very long book but I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything. I would definitely recommend this book and hope that the author continues with the other band members! I’m curious to hear their story!

Grady is the first book in the Must Love Rock Stars series. It’s a contemporary romantic comedy set in the world of rock and roll. The characters are all relatable and the chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts. I especially like that the romantic relationship progresses naturally over a period of time and is not something that seems rushed. Grady Baker is the lead singer of the band Bourbon Suicide and Evie Pearson is the pyrotechnician for their tour. Evie and Grady build a friendship that progresses into more. Both of them have strong and sometimes stubborn personalities that the author shows is in their cheekiness.
The couple faces challenges thrown their way which leads to a rough time in their relationship. I enjoyed how the author works them through this in a pretty realistic fashion. The author also introduces us to the other members of the band who I hope have their own books in the series. While I loved both Grady and Evie, his mom may have been my favorite character.
This was such an easy book to read and I honestly couldn’t put it down. I really enjoyed it and loved the writing style. I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series and more from this author.

Must Love Rock Stars was a great 5 star read.
This is my first read from Gretchen Rily and she has done a great job of pulling me right in with her writing. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. I am a sucker for Rock Star romance and this one definitely did not disappoint.
We have Grady who is the lead singer for Bourbon Suicide and Evie who works the pyro for the tour. Evie is determined to do her job and not get distracted, however Grady has other plans. He wants to get to know her and can’t figure out why she treats him differently than the rest of the crew.
Grady does eventually get Evie to open up to him and become friends. The attraction between these two came off the pages. Can Grady get Evie to let him in? Will they get a HEA?
I really liked Grady, he was such a sweet guy. Evie was a very strong willed woman. The secondary characters were great, they added a good element to the story. I did have some LOL moments and there were also some really steamy moments as well. I really look forward to reading more from series and Gretchen Rily. 18+ readers suggested due to steamy content.

This quote perfectly sums up Grady by Gretchen Rily. It’s funny, sweet, sexy, steamy, and a feel-good read at the same time. I absolutely love me some rockstar romances and this is a great one. I will admit that it took me a few chapters to really get into but soon enough I was completely hooked in the story.
This story follows Grady and Evie, two really good main characters that really complimented each other well. There are two very different sides to Grady, the real man and the rockstar. And Evie gets to experience both. Grady is a cocky, confident ladies’ man but he’s also sweet and caring. The perfect blend for a great book boyfriend. Evie was a unique main character and I really liked her. She’s pyrotechnician with a rough around the edges and straight to the point attitude. She and Grady made for a one of a kind read.
This was the first book I read by Gretchen Rily but it won’t be my last. I look forward to reading more of her work in the future!

Grady is living the life of a Rockstar. He grew up in the entertainment industry and he’s a natural. He’s used to getting attention and getting what he wants. He’s got his eyes on Evie, but she doesn’t give him the time of day.
Evie’s had a rough life and she’s used to relying on herself. One bad decision earlier in her career has put her off Rockstars forever. Her career is everything to her, she’s worked too hard to lose it. But when Evie gets a chance to see past the Rockstar persona that Grady puts on for the crowds, she finds herself being drawn in.
The closer they get the more chances of fall out and someone getting hurt. Grady wants to be in a relationship, but previous experiences have taught him that long-distance relationships just don’t work. If word gets back to her boss that she’s dating a client, Evie will be out of a job and everything she’s worked for will be for nothing.

Grady is the first book in the Must Love Rock Stars series by Gretchen Rily. This is the first book I have read by this author, but will definitely won’t be the last. I love the fast easy flow of this book. I couldn’t put it down and finished it in one sitting. I love the way Ms. Rily makes the characters so down to earth and likable. Grady and Evie have such great chemistry, it’s hot, hot, hot. Evie is such a strong woman and Grady has such a good heart. I love the way they interact with each other, but what really brings this story together is the secondary characters. There are ups and downs as is with any real relationship, and you will need to pick this book up to find out if Grady and Evie will find their Happily Ever After,or will their relationship blow up in their faces. This book is an 18+ book with hot rocker sex. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series. Gretchen Rily is now permanently on my TBR list. Loved this book!

Evie has had a rough life and also had a rubbish earlier experience in her career with a rocker which has put her off them for life! With her working so hard and her career meaning everything to her she doesn't want anything to jeopardise that. The problem is Grady is persistent and has his eyes set on her and is determined to get through to her but she's not interested that is something he isn't use to he's a ladies man and use getting what he wants and he wants Evie! Grady is a confident ladies man rockstar but hes also caring and sweet but not everyone see that side of him but Evie does see both sides to him the rockstar and the true man underneath. There story certainly isn't easy there is obstacles in the way and hard decisions to make will they pull through? Wow i absolutely love rockstar novels they are one of my favourites to sink my teeth into and there story certainly didn't disappoint i was hooked throughout and i just couldn't put my kindle down!

I just finished reading Grady (Must love rockstars), by Gretchen Rily.
Evie Pearson is one of my favorite characters, that I have ever read about!
She is in the top 10 for sure!

Grady Baker is used to people adoring him - falling at his feet even.
But Evie? No sir. She is not even friendly towards this particular superstar and he can’t figure out why.
This book has chemistry, heat and friendship - the story was excellent and the writing was superb! The characters were very likeable and even the secondary characters were good.
I could read a book about a few of them, as well.
I haven’t read any other books in the series yet but I’ll be fixing that ASAP.
I recommend you to do that as well - Gretchen Rily, a new fan was born today.

This was a great story to read. This is the first book in the Must Love Rock Stars series. Gretchen Riley will make these so they can be read as a standalone. I particularly loved these characters. Grady by Gretchen Rily is the first standalone in the Must Love Rock Star series. It is a contemporary romance novel. It is the first book that I have read by this author and I wasn’t disappointed, I’m looking forward to the rest. The author does a great job of keeping you hooked from page one. The pages just keep turning! . It keeps you wondering and on the edge, the desire to find out what’s next is intense! I loved this book and reading about Grady Baker and Evie Pearson. Grady is in a rock band called Bourbon Suicide. While he is every girl’s rock dream/fantasy, there’s more to him than just that rocker vibe. He has a kindhearted and helps out others. Evie Pearson, is a beautiful and strong woman who lives in a man’s world. She’s a kick hurt kind of girl!
I can’t wait to see what’s next!!

Grady (Must Love Rock Stars), by Gretchen Rily, is a contemporary romantic comedy story. The author has created a great story that is put together with a collection of characters that make the story have its own uniqueness to set it apart from other stories that may seem similar. I found the writing to be engaging, precise, and inviting as the story captured my imagination and I enjoyed the scenes that the author wrote. The written attraction and chemistry was exquisite. Grady and Evie were amazing in this story, but I also enjoyed the additional characters that supported the story. Despite this being the first book I have read by this author, it is one that was well done and an addicting read.

This is the first book that I have read from Gretchen Rily and I can honestly say that it will not be my last book by her. It did take me a little while to get into the book but I am glad that I carried on reading because the story was amazing.
One of my all time favourite types of books is rockstar romance. So I obviously jumped for joy when I saw this.
I loved both Grady and Evie. They were both such amazing characters. Grady was my favourite, well both of the Grady’s were. He was cocky but sweet.
Even though this was a short story, at 144 words, it was packed with emotions and excitement. I actually loved it.
Overall, I am looking forward to reading more! Grady was awesome and I am so glad I read this.

Grady is what I'm hoping is the first book in the Must Love Rock Stars series by Gretchen Rily. The chemistry between Grady and Evie was amazing and it wasn't just because of her being the pyrotechnician for Grady's band Bourbon Suicide. He was instantly attracted her though they had hardly even had a conversation.
Grady has a heart of gold and will do anything for someone if they are important to him and Evie becomes that pretty fast even when she is doing nothing but pushing him away since he is her boss. What started out as a simple gesture to help out one of the employees turns into a lot more than that.

If you are tired of Rock stars that fit the asshole category,(and while I do love them, a change of pace can be a good thing) do give this book a try. I loved this band, they are self-depreciating and funny. Grady is sexy and sweet while Evie provides the "spark" - pun intended. The band Bourbon Suicide (love the name) acts like a true band of brothers and have no filter when dishing out on each other. Grady's mom, a former rock video star is a hoot. A really pleasant book to while away the hours. I did have an issue with the POV switching at the beginning of the book from first to third and from Grady to Evie that it was a little hard to follow but that seemed to straighten itself out by the middle of the book. Noah is up next and I will be waiting.

Grady (Must Love Rock Stars) by Gretchen Rily is the first in a new contemporary romance series that was AMAZING! I could not put this down (and I'm normally not into rock star romance), and it had me from the first chapter. Evie is everything! She's rocking it in a man's field of work, and takes no bull from anyone! She's smart, sassy, and sexy! Grady is so much more than his rock star ego & the Adonis all the groupies salivate over! They are complete opposites, yet find themselves colliding. The chemistry is off the charts, but a heat this intense always comes with consequences. Read to find out if they get their HEA;) Can't wait to read more by this author!
