The author skillfully portrays

the evolving relationship and maturity of the couple while adeptly inserting them into historical events, but oh the hurtful things they say to one another! And the continuing love and forgiveness each draws forth.

Sadly, DNF at 16%. This series started so wonderful in the first book, nearly killed me with the second and then left me hanging in the third. I could not finish it

I must admit

to feeling disappointed with this storyline. There didn't seem to be much movement in the plot. It seemed to be as lot of talking and being stuck in a confined space somewhere. I must admit to not reading it very fast as it made me bored but I wanted to finish it to see what happened.

I was given an advanced copy for an honest review. Which I begged her for after reading her first two books. What can I say, they were just that good. Her writing style is brilliant.

Ms Jeleyne had done it again! This is a wonderfully exciting series! I would suggest you read her first two books before this one. I fell in love with the characters Linley and Patrick because the chemistry between them is dynamic. Their exploits will keep you on the edge of your seat. I don't want to say too much as to avoid spoilers. I will be anxiously awaiting her next book. I would gladly read anything she writes.

A very exciting read. The historical facts were enjoyable. I love the adventures Linley and Patrick encounter, and their love for one another.
