Mahogany is desperate to save the life of her baby, Majestic, who's only two and losing the fight with leukemia and a rare blood disorder. And what she must do if contact the very man who had no idea he had a hand in her existence and ask for his help. Chance is living a unsatisfactory life after Mahogany left him years ago. But he didn't know that his secrets and adamantly refusing to entertain the thought of children were what drove her away, not knowing that she was pregnant. But she had to protect her heart and her child. She had no choice but to believe how he said he would react to a possible pregnancy. Chance saves his daughter, but is there enough of a relationship between him and Mahogany to justify saving.
A good sweet and sometimes spicy read. Don't want to ruin it, but it wrapped up nicely with the HEA that all three of them deserved.

Good Story
Okay the jury is still out about how I feel about this story.On the one hand it was fun to see the two main characters play off of one another and the chemistry was really good.But I wanted to see more bonding between a father and a daughter,a family trying to find there way towards each other.You call someone with news that's going to change their lives at some point I needed a moment of angst.Also where was the bonding you don't get to see that,I think too much time was spent on looking at family and friends.This was a good solid story with good dialogue but it was missing that little oomph to push it to the next level.

Relentless double edges sword and shovel alright!
That's what Chance fought out the hard way. He was so mad at Mahogany for leaving him and tearing up his heart and soul that he had to rain in his anger when he found out why she left. His lack of communication with her about why he did not want any children was heartbreaking enough. It forced her to leave to protect her child. She was grateful for his responding and saving their child's life. It only took them a couple of days together to realize that they still loved each other. They just had to convince themselves to do what was best for the other.
Falon wrote a heart anguished story about a couple who had hurt each other, trying to make the best of the situation for the sake of their child and desperately trying to find their way back to each other. With Majestic, Chance realized his true dream of having a family.

You will find a lots of hilarious moments that will have you laughing out loud. It is so interesting to see these two [Mahogany & Chance] go back and forth until finally they seem to get it. Be ready for a lots of drama, secrets and family issues that will keep coming until they get the message that they love each other no matter what all the reasons that had happened. In the end will Mahogany and Chance get their HEA? Well to see how well this author brings it all out to the reader you will have to pick up this well written story and see how well this it was delivered. I loved the ending!

Great story.
The characters emotions were intense. The twist in their relationship was crazy. The steamy scenes were hot. The happily ever after ending was so sweet and heartwarming.

This was a well-written book, I liked the dialogue and banter between the characters.
Chance being a jerk to Mahogany was annoying because he caused her to leave due to him keeping secrets. He eventually realised his mistakes which was good, but he still continued to let her think he couldn’t forgive her which dragged out their reunion and was frustrating.
I liked Mahogany as a character but she was a bit too quick in forgiving Chance and his family. I wish she got to talk to them about how she felt about their previous cold treatment of her.
Majestic was a really cute kid and I also liked Tommy. The epilogue was sweet and I would’ve liked to see more of Chance and Mahogany as a couple after they reconciled.

A second chance
This book was a good spin off from her the other books by this author. I was glad that it focused primarily on Chance and Mahogany. I thought that Mahogany was foolish for being cryptic with Chance regarding the pregnancy. Chance should have been more open about why he didn't want children. While I understand why Mahogany left it was wrong of her to keep Chance from knowing about his daughter until it was almost too late. Chance and Mahogany never stopped loving each other even though they both abandoned their relationship. They did get the family they didn't plan for.

Somewhat deceitful
Mahogany and Chance’s story was a good one and I think it was more deceitful on Chance's side. If he had just been truthful as to why he didn't want children from the beginning I don't think Mahogany would have seemed deceitful. I mean she tried to tell him...how could he not pick up on it? Anyway all worked out for them all, Majestic got better and Mahogany and Chance overcame their obstacle with one another. Can't wait to get a little more of their happily ever after in the next book. Oh and more of Uncle Tommy too.

I'd never read this author before
Loved her story telling and the telling from both main characters perspectives. I like learning as I read and would have liked more information on HH blood type. I had to put my book down and go to the Internet. I liked the main characters. I truly wish I could understand people's choices to not tell their true feelings, I know it's for the book. That would be okay but people do it in their real lives. Some heartache is self inflicted in the name of self preservation.

Witty and Fun
I love a book that has great dialogue. This one had that in spades. Tommy was utterly hilarious. Chance, although rigid in his stance, found the light. Mahogany was young with practically no guidance growing up, in love with an older man. She stepped up to the plate for her beliefs. I liked that. Chance ran all in when it came down to it. This was a very good read.

Wow, I felt sadden by Chance declaration about being a killer. Blood is blood but it's not defective to kill. When it comes to bloodlines, it shouldn't stop you from having children due to heredity. Poor Chance! I enjoyed Mahogany and Chance story.

LOVED IT
True love. Chance and Mahogany definitely one of my favorite couple. Majestic was so adorable, very intelligent. Tommy was so hilarious. This truly was a great story of love. Hoping Nevaeh's story will be released soon.

Of the Powers and Owen stories, Chance and Mahogany's is my favorite. Enjoyed catching up with previous characters. So happy Chance released the bitterness and was open and honest with Mahogany. I truly love Majestic

2.5 stars. The premise made me curious, but I was disappointed. I didn't really like the writing style, no flow and the pace felt too slow for me in this book and that made it somewhat boring.

Very good!
Enjoyed reading! It was a bit wordy in some places, but it did not hurt the story! Some of the interaction with Chance's family and Mahogany was over the top crazy, but still funny! Anyway, I thought it was very good!
