Too many language mistakes!

Mike: I love your characters! The story is interesting, and fun to read. What ruined it for me were the incredible number of spelling errors, typos, and improper use of words. For example: “fair” for cab fare, and many more. You need a proofreader VERY BADLY. (I would gladly volunteer.) Please look at all of your books and make sure they are not ruined by careless editing. The mistakes caused me to give the book only one star.

Errors aside, I am starting my third book in the Falau series.

White Collar is the third book in the Falau Files series by Mike Gomes. These books do not have to be read in order. I like the book's cover, for it is intriguing. This book is filled with action! I give it four stars because I admire the author's talent, which is evident in this book and his others. Plus, I want to see how the series goes. There were a few parts of this book that did not grab me, but maybe it's just me. People who enjoy thrillers should read this book.

WOW!! WHAT AN AWESOME READ!!

Falau and his new crew are sent to get a man, who has stolen money from many people. A rich man, who got many investors to hand over money, that he told them he would invest for them. Falau has a new crew, of whom he has never met before. Can they come together to find the man and the money, before the man disappears? Fast action, from the US to Europe. A book, you won't be able to put down, until the very end!!

I'm sure

Falau picked up the remote control and aimed it at the TV changing the channel to ESPN showing a college baseball game. “That’s more like it. The other stuff is just too depressing. Sports okay with you?” “Sure. By the way, don’t think that I forgot about you getting us that pizza.”

I loved the action and the plot in the book but with each book the cursing gets worse. Unfortunately, I don’t want my books clouded with the f word. 😢 While I realize that cursing is prevalent in our society and the books are reflective of that, his first book was almost completely clean and I felt was a wonderful book. Sad to have to say good bye.

Very good read. I liked the fast pace and action of this book. The lead character, Falau, is portrayed as a powerful man that gets the mission accomplished. But, he also has his problems and is dealing with them. I like the character and the book. I'm ready to start reading the next Falau file.

I love Michael Falau. He has so many problems in his life....

The Falau Files books are all action-packed. Once I start reading, I can't put my reader down until I'm finished.

It is hard to believe that people could be so greedy.

Well worth reading.

Who edited this book?

Great story, well thought out. Interesting characters, but I had a tough time with all the misspelled words, poorly constructed sentences, and bad grammar. Mike Gomes, please find a new editor!!!

Pretty good

Far to many spelling and grammatical errors. More than a few broken noses with far to few physical repercussions. I like the "hero" with human frailties. I read novels like this as a diversion and " White Collar" was just that.

White collar

Did not enjoy this book as much has the others. Needed a better job of editing.

But I did get to go on an adventure. It was definitely fast pace. Where do they get that energy?

White collar

Good action book with many twists and turns but the entire story seemed logical for the situation initially described. The fights were graphic but it was a little far fetched to have the hero perform as he did when faced with overwhelming odds.

Enjoyable read

Gomes writing keeps getting better. Action packed. Found myself in the middle of it all, even laughed a few times. Pretty clean on the language, too. Thanks!
