A very hot and engaging sneak peek.
Continuing this hot new series from this author, because if the few chapters is any indications, I know I'm going to enjoy Acquisition more. Can't wait to read more of Lauren and Antonio's story.

I was super excited to see this book on my kindle- turns out I read it a few months ago and totally forgot to add it to GR. THE HORROR!
Therefore, BAAAM - here’s my review.
Lauren is a badass CEO and Antonio wants her company. Then add one totally hot one nightstand to the mix- and then the war is ON!
I liked it but wasn’t like “ wauw” - not my favourite of hers (but honestly billionaire/ CEO books are really not that high on my favorite genre).
Because of the writing I decided to give it 3 stars. Chelle does know how to write.

This novella is well written and engaging. But it ends on a cliffhanger, which I didn't know. It's one of those strategies to encourage the reader to find out what happens next with the couple in the following book, providing the reader with a teaser.

Having read Aquisition over a month ago, I had forgotten some of these zesty little scenes so I found it helpful to pick up Takeover as it tripped some of those stuck switches in my memory banks and helped bring to mind other aspects of the first book before diving into book two, Merger.

Meh. The way this was written didn't really MAKE me want to read the story. I had wanted to read it because it falls into the same pattern of books that I have read before and loved. The same "billionaire love" pattern that a lot of romance novels are written in. After reading these, I'm not sure I even want to read Acquisition anymore.
It mainly just gives you back ground on the male lead, how he is it at home, etc. I guess so you don't hate him so much when he tries to steal/buy the female leads company. If I'm being honest, I literally could've done without these two bonus chapters in all reality.

This is a free prequel for the Takeover Duet by Chelle. I realize this was free and it was meant to be an introduction to a more lengthy story so I hate to complain but I will anyway. It had dual POV’s which I did like but it was also boring. I expected more sex and a lot less talk about aerospace design and what it means to be a female CEO in a male dominated industry. I’m all for empowering women but Lauren seemed like she was over compensating and only doing it for her father. If the other two books are like this then I’m not even going to bother to read them because I don’t have the time or the patience. It’s a shame too because I really liked Antonio Forte and wanted more of him.

I liked that Antonio and Lauren were in competition. Is it wrong of me to already want Lauren to come out as the winner in their drama? The ending to this story has definitely left me intrigued to find out what happens next.

This book has me curious I wonder how good it could be enough to buy it not quite sure decent opening I'd like to know more about the people in his life personally I'll go check out the blurb on the acquisition and see if it's really worth my time to go forward that's my review

A perfect tease!
This done exactly what it was intended to do...make me want more. I love a good battle between enemies, to see who cracks first. Lust, or love, either one can drive a person to madness. When you can't stand the person, but secretly want them anyway, makes it so much better.

This was a nice introduction to the upcoming story, and even though it wasn't really sexually heavy (which was the impression the blurb gave me) it did set up both characters fairly well. I enjoyed how they met and their flirtatious banter. There was a bit too much talking in regards to all the Aerospace stuff, but still a quick and interesting read. Am looking forward to part two.

Love these two and their story. The beginning is as hot and sexy as the whole series.
I read the series first and then came back and read this and it is a perfect portrayal of the beginning for Lauren and Antonio or should I say Lou and Lizzy?

Love this sneak peek and love seeing more of Antonio’s life before he came to America. I read Acquisition and loved it and of course Lauren & Antonio. Can’t wait to see what happens next in Merger.

The beginning
There were only a couple chapters that differed from book 1 so really the book wasn't needed. An update of book one with those missing chapters would have been fine. I am so ready for the next installment. I just didn't see this teaser as necessary.

Quick read..
The book was good, very quick read and certainly cliche, the first book was on Free or on KU and was good, but book 2 is $3+ I’m not sure I’ll keep reading. Especially not if it’s just 60’pages also.

Oh, what a sneak peak! Antonio and Lauren are in for the fight of their life. I think professionally as well as personally. Will there be a winner and a loser? This story leads you to look for more and more.

This book could be read before #1 or between #1-2. I did the latter because it came out after #1 and before #2. Basically its two extra chapters, the first two, told from Antonios POV. Then the next five chapters are the first five from book 1.
