Hawk Elite Security, a group of dedicated men and women.
Moved by duty and honor.
Dedicated to being courageous in the face of adversity.
Passionate about life.

Descendant of a line of Romanian gypsies, Marie Feur uses both truth and legend to create a persona that will fool even the most jaded of men. When the family heirloom—the gold armband—is stolen by the long-feuding family from the old country, she’ll do whatever she can to get it back, including work for Hawk Elite Security, the very men who are supposed to be guarding the amulet.

Malcolm Daniels has dealt with lying, cheating women before, so when Marie steps into Hawk Elite to work, he sees right through her façade to the woman with secrets and a sly hand. But the more he works with her, the harder it is to ignore just how much he likes; she thinks outside the box, she faces danger with courage, and—hell—she’s gorgeous. He wants her but doesn’t trust her.

The stakes are raised when her plan to acquire the armband goes awry. Life becomes a commodity paid to the highest bidder. But will Malcolm be willing to pay such a high price?

STRIKE FORCE (Hawk Elite Security, #4) by Beth Rhodes is another great addition to this romantic suspense series. I have been waiting for Malcolm’s story and it is everything I was hoping for.

Malcolm Daniels dealt with a lying, cheating ex-wife. He was young, inexperienced in relationships and she took everything from him including his trust in all women. When Marie is taken in by Hawk and given a job at Hawk Elite, Malcolm knows she is hiding secrets and he vows to reveal them. What he does not expect is that he comes to admire Marie’s hard work, courage under fire and her ability to see outside of the box. Marie is also beautiful and Malcolm wants his “little thief” physically, but he refuses to trust her.

Marie Feur is from a long line of Romanian gypsies and is meant to inherit and wear the gold armband that is legendary in her family. When Marie was young, the armband was stolen by another family with a long standing feud with her family. Her chance to get close to the armband comes with her work for Hawk Security. She wants to please her only remaining family member, her Uncle Bert, by returning the armband to their family, but that means she will be betraying her friends at Hawk Security, betraying her growing feelings for Malcolm and proving him right in believing she is only a thief.

Malcolm is so rigid and by the book. He loves his computers and programs and no longer believes in love or relationships. Marie is fun, loving and good at what she does, which does not always follow what one might consider “right”. These two are so opposite and yet Ms. Rhodes makes them, over the pages of this story, so right for each other. There is plenty of action and suspense as Malcolm and Marie deal with not only the stolen armband, but drugs and international sex slaves with the help of the FBI and their friends at Hawk Security.

The sex is steamy and hot, hot, hot between these two. It also progresses from sex with no strings or attachments to much more. Both Malcolm and Marie are now two of my favorite characters in this series. I especially love how Malcolm’s only response to good or bad situations, out loud or silently in his head is “Fuck”. A man of few words, well basically only one word, who left me laughing out loud!

I highly recommend the entire series and especially this book. It can be read as a standalone, but I bet you will go back for more.

This is another fine one that I jumped into. This Security group really gets you going once they grab ahold of you. Malcolm claims your heart right away thanks to his past you want to be the one to heal him. Marie is a colorful character with having you sit back and see what will go down once she steps in his path. They have chemistry with also the personnas to keep us with eyes on them. The danger element proceeds to rise with the suspense level rising also. When it does reach its peak you are by then open mouthed then starts to sag when you see where it all goes.

This is the fourth book in the series and although it involves the same characters it can be read as a stand-alone although I highly recommend reading it in order as there are things that occur with certain characters that are best to have the background on
Marie Feur was recruited by Hawk for his company when she was after an heirloom that was stolen from her family by Vladimir Dimitru. When she knows she can use her job to get closer to Dimitru she jumps on the opportunity.
Malcolm Daniels works for Hawk in his security business and is attracted to Marie but does not trust her at all, knowing her past as a thief. When the two of them are paired together to install a new security system for Dimitru, Malcolm knows he has to stay close to Marie as he knows she is up to something.
When Marie and Malcolm take a side trip to visit her Uncle Bert, the two get close but will Marie give up her quest to get her family heirloom back and will Malcolm be loyal to the job or Marie?
This was such a great book in the series and very enjoyable!
I really loved learning about the past of Marie’s family and how everything tied into the bracelet (heirloom) and why Dimitru had it to begin with. There were so many twists and turns that came up with the bracelet and many I was truly not expecting at all and I really enjoyed them.
I loved the tension between Malcolm and Marie and how much they each wanted the other but they both had reservations due to what had happened in the past or their present goals. They had so much sexual tension that you knew something was coming between them and that it was going to be intense when it did happen.
As I mentioned above I loved the twists and turns that just kept coming and you needed o now how everything was going to turn out as you kind of knew what was going to happen with certain things, but I was totally taken by surprise with other things.
I truly hope that there are more books in the series as I am loving getting to know all the members of Hawk’s team! - By Rebecca

Genre: Romantic Suspense, military, enemies-to-lovers
Standalone: Yes
Part of a Series: Yes - Book 4 of the Hawk Elite Security
POV: Malcolm and Marie
Steam Level: Slow burn
4/5

Strike Force has been my favorite of the Hawk Elite Security series. Malcolm has been that quiet, behind the scenes, dependable guy throughout the rest of the series. I loved seeing a glimpse of him and Marie in Strike Zone and getting to know them further in Strike Force. He's still that quiet, brooding, dependable guy but with a foul mouth and even more loyalty and gadgets. Marie is feisty, sassy, and strong, like all of the heroines in this series. I love that she's also vulnerable and emotional. And can give Malcolm a piece of her mind. I think that this aspect is what makes this series fun. All the characters are strong. There's no damsels in distress waiting for their heros to come rescue them. They are a team and even when they get on each other's nerves they have each other's back. I truly look forward to more books in this series and would love to see some extended epilogues.

I received a copy of this book for free from the author. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Strike Force is the fourth book in the Hawk Elite Security Novel Series and it was SO good! This series is new to me and I now very much want to go back to the beginning to understand the dynamics between all the team members.
Marie is hired to work for Hawk Elite Security through unusual circumstances. She is such a complex character with inner turmoil that often made me want to hug her. Her teammate, Malcolm, however, doesn’t share the same sentiment; at first. While on a mission together, they are forced to interact on a more personal level and the chemistry this two share is off the charts in the most subtle of ways!

I really enjoyed the flow of the story and how the job they needed to complete was woven into the story instead of being in the background. The fine details were written well and the development of Marie and Malcolm’s relationship was not rushed; which I greatly appreciated.
I truly enjoyed this book and very much look forward to reading the fifth book when it’s released!

This is my favorite book in the series. Malcolm, another commitment-phobe, has to prove to the team and Hawk that he is completely recovered from a bullet to the chest. Not so happy he was paired with the gypsy newest member of the team. Marie. Trust didn't come easily and the fact that he wanted her--bad--didn't help matters. He learned that she had a connection outside of the assignment that just added to the complications. What should have been a simple security system check was anything but.
He respected what she had accomplished, liked her personality, yet couldn't trust her. Where could they go without trust?
She had to revenge her family and take back an ancient artifact taken by Hawk Elite's client. More reason not to trust her. But there is more to the client. More to the family connection. More danger than he guessed. Will they find their way to be together? Will they even live long enough to try?
There is plenty of steam, unforgettable characters who are stronger than they think, and a good storyline.

Next book, yes please! Ive become addicted to this series and Strike Force certainly adds to the addiction. Danger in spades, a wee bit of deception (ok more than a wee bit), a family artefact that may or may not be magical, a hero that has more than his fair share of trust issues and the thief that stole his heart. Add in the rest of the team we've met in previous books, I couldn't put the book down. Beth has added a great addition to this series and can't wait to see what she has in that creative brain of hers next.

Strike Force by Beth Rhodes is the fourth installment in the Hawk Elite Security Series. Every book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend to read the series in order.
Marie Feur/ Gabor is descendent of roman gypsies. She created a secret persona. Then a heirloom was stolen and sher needs it back. Marie recruited Hawk Security and Malcolm Daniels is assigned to her. They work together and become more.
Strike Force is a beautiful love story with the right amount of drama and danger. I liked the story, the writing and the characters. I give 4,5 stars. Thank you, Beth Rhodes !

OMG

Out of all the Hawk Elite employees, Malcolm Daniels is the one I've been waiting for. He is hot, smart, protects what is his and doesn't trust the opposite sex. Marie Feur is of Romanian descent and a thief. Two opposites and yet they explode when they are near each other. Add in a family heirloom, a crazy curse and the wonderful Uncle Bert, what could possibly go wrong. You will laugh, cry and sigh as these two get their HEA. My favorite one in the series.

This was a favorite book in the series. Malcolm is paired with Marie and these two are polar opposites. He doesn’t trust her or her past and she sees that. They have a spark but can they trust each other to see where it may lead. Marie is in over her head with a family feud and she knows exactly what she has to do. Can Malcolm keeps her safe? Will he ever trust her? I love uncle Bert and his character in this read. ❤️❤️

I love, love Ms. Rhodes writing style. She leaves me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what comes next. Marie and Malcolm both work for Hawk Security and they are thrust into a mission working together. Malcolm doesn’t trust easily, but especially when Marie has revenge on her mind when it comes to the job they are tasked to doing. Throughout the mission they develop a more personal relationship than just work colleagues and their chemistry is off the charts hot! This author does an awesome job interweaving the couple’s romance between the job they needed to do. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
