Dramione
Bizarre premise... students are cursed and, therefore, must mate with each other. What was the curse?
Interesting that Harry and Ron have secretly become friends with slytherins before Hermione has... and they're friends with Draco.
Snape and Narcissa...what?!?
Ah, and Hermione is holding a grudge against the slytherins.
I dont love the constant switch between narrators.
I live that basically everyone is on board with their arrangement. Even his parents are going to meet her parents.
Ah, so they both kind of have a secret crush on each other... well, she's in serious and understandable denial, and he denies anytime his friends suggest it. I like learning about his a bit into the story and not early on. It was surviving.
Hermione has had a few immature moments. At first, it was off-putting, and I'm glad she's more mature as she works through her issue, but it makes me wonder what he likes about her.
Of course, his thinking about discrimination is the thing that wins her over, geesh.
The downside to the many povs is that I'm not getting a lot of solid insight into any particular character. I'm getting more Draco and Hermione than the others, but almost not enough of Hermione to really feel her growth and change, which I think is the big challenge in this story. The big thing. So it makes her changes feel kind of quicker than they should be. She was so adamantly against it, but after 1 real conversation with Draco, she lost all of her hostility.
Yeah, cute story, well written, very clean. Not a love, but fun and easy to read. 3.8 rounding down.
