Whew!!

Whew chile the emotions this book caused.
I do have to say I missed O'Shea's point of view but she was very much present. Well let's get into it.
Sweet Pretty Nadia is a force to be reckoned with. Her unconventional relationships were wild. They really showed her layers. What I love most is that she is completely different from the first book where she was willing to settle, but now she refused to be nothing less than worshipped. I wonder what is next for her in her new relationship.
Beautiful Boss Delia...I feel like I need to know more about her past. She really seemed to want to prove who she was and that was baffling as she had accomplished so much, so young. She worked my nerves with that forced relationship and slick mouth. I was glad when she finally realized it was time to move around.
Zion....crazy Zion. She really had me stop reading the first book a few times. She stay out of line. This book was NO different. Rather than do right by the ones she professes to love she disregards everyone's wishes and loses her mind. Even Second chances were not enough for her, no she preferred to be hated. I do not understand her at all.
I love that this author shows that black women too have complex llife experiences. I will definitely be reading everything in this series.

A thrilling second book in the New Money Girls series that focuses more on the accomplishments and setbacks outside of the sugar baby/escort/ whatever-Nadia-is-at-this-point lives of Delia, Nadia, O’Shea and Zion. It shows the power women can have, that no relationship—despite any personal gain one may get— is worth abuse or for someone to treat you as less than you are, and the value of having people who will call you out when you are being a shady bitch. Despite some small grammar and spelling issues, the book was a delightful read and I am looking forward to the next installment in the series.
