A dragon, a panther and a bear walk into a bar… No punchline. It’s just a Friday night.

NYPD homicide detective, Kota St. James, is eyeball deep in dead bodies. She didn’t think things could get any weirder until one night, her ho-hum date and what was supposed to be harmless fun. Meeting Ramsey Hughes, a dragon with some serious baggage, was just the thing she needed to rethink her life.

Panther shifter, Jared Morgan’s life is finally looking up. Everything he’s always wanted is within his grasp until his past returns with a vengeance, forcing his mate and their family onto a path they do not want to go down.

Alpha Pride operative, Blade Reegan, is starting to see the weirder side of things. All signs point to forces building, but it’s nothing he can’t handle. Or so he thought until things take a turn for the worse. The world as he knows it will end if he and Reese, the lioness shifter that commands his unit, make one wrong decision.

Life for these people is about to change forever and throw them together in ways they will never forget, and in ways they can’t explain. If what happens to them here and now is an Omen for what is about to come, they are doomed.

About the author

B.J. Cunningham

BJ Cunningham was born in raised in the small village of Blue Hill, Maine. From a very young age, she wrote stories of fiction. When asked why she liked to write, she a caused great deal of alarm when she explained that she could hear the characters in her head and that the only way to silence them was to write their stories.

After many "meetings" and tests, it was determined that the voices were simply her over active imagination and odd sense of humor. Not mental illness.

Her crazy quilt of a resume includes zookeeper, production artist, optician, outreach education coordinator for a large biotechnology laboratory and she has a B.S in the administration of justice.

Raising a teenage son as a single parent paired with the talent of being a magnet for the strange and amusing, has fueled her quirky sense of humor that shows in her work.

Currently BJ is working on a paranormal series, The Bjorn Clan. The first, entitled Blood Ties, is scheduled for release in early 2015.
