I live in the southeast and enjoy reading and writing all things paranormal. Nothing is more relaxing than cracking open a new adventure in a new world.

I love paranormal tales and characters in general and shifter stories in particular. Throw in the romantic element, strong Alpha characters who bend beneath the power of love and I’m over the moon. Sighs…

This mating thing takes adjusting to

Renee finds out that a mating life takes getting used to. Niklas Storm has a whole lot of adjusting too. He's lived a mercenary lifestyle that Renee can not accept. His main concern is vengeance for his alpha's death which includes Hawk because he made the drugs that drugged his alpha. Storm and his cousin Razor are the last two surviving pups from Grandfather's line. The Goddess will not allow them to kill each other because of the gifts she's given them. Even though Storm has found out that the conspiracy that was responsible for executing of his alpha, alpha's mate and pups were hatched by Razor and his pseudo mate who's an evil conniving selfish beotch who kept her twin sister Trista, away from her rightful mate. Through the loving guidance of family, and Grandfather. Storm and Renee were able to work through the problems and schemes that were thrown their way. The idea of family, pack and a den was foreign to Storm, Razor, and Trista, but seeing how successful and supportive La Patron's pack is, they can see the benefits and yearn to join.

Sydney just blows me away with the creativity of her stories. This one did not disappoint. It shows the problems of mates getting used to being mated, especially when the partners are from two very different worlds. Storm was basically a loner and Renee comes from a well to do pack being the pup of La Patron. Renee basically grows up overnight being mated but she still shows her spoiled and sheltered ways, especially dealing with being apart from Storm for a short period of time. Even Razor's attitude changed once he was not under the influence of the evil twin's pheromones. This shows hope for the future for both couples. Who knows what the Goddess has in store for them next. For right now they can focus on their HEA.

So very good!

I’ve read each of the books in Sydney’s La Patron world...each one has been amazing and this one didn’t disappoint. The Wold Nation seems like a second home and all the characters longtime friends.

I️ would highly recommend a reader start at the beginning of this series and read all the books in order. They are each awesome and build up into a fabulous world.

In previous books I’ve not been a fan of Renee, she always struck me as a bit too spoiled (she is La Patron’s Princess), but how she changed after what happened to her dad (Silas) in the previous book made be rethink my opinion of her. I️ loved her relationship with Niklas Storm and how her mother (Jasmine) was able to offer motherly advice/input that we didn’t get to see when Renee’s sister met and mated with Quinn.

So looking forward to the next book and the continuing storyline. Each book ends with a satisfying conclusion and a build up for more to come. No life and death cliffhangers, but a strong desire to keep reading more. I️ bought this book the day it was released and couldn’t wait to get started. It certainly lived up to my expectations!

Good Book....

I have been with this series since book #1. The growth and development of the series has been steady and the continuity is to be commended. Very few negatives can be assigned to these books unless you are someone who simply doesn't like this genre. Renee, bless her heart, is spoiled and doesn't really live in the real world. Her world consists of her, her art, her dual natured family, her human mom, and super wolf father. She is immature and selfish. However, her mother is not fooled and does not bend to Renee's foolishness. I love Jasmine Knight. Jasmine was strong in her character in this book. The newcomers are excellent and introduced in a really strong and engaging way. The story is beautifully told, and all of the moving parts are perfectly timed. Entertaining, a bit of mystery and well paced is what I can say about this book. Something is coming and the players in the Wolf Nation are taking their places. Even Grandfather is back. I recommend you read this book. It's worth it and you will be challenged to think and anxious to get to the answers posed in the plot. Good job, Sydney...

A new force arrives

There was fun in this story and there was a sense of change as well. I got a kick out of Storm's "deer in headlights" moments, Renee will be so good for him. Grandfather better be glad he's kind of a ghost because I think quite a few people want to kick his butt, especially after this story. Once more Jasmine comes through as the voice of reason and it's so cute to see how Silas has changed over the years.

Long live the Wolf Nation

I've read every book in this series and sometimes more than once. Renee has grown to be a strong beautiful young woman and La Patron and Jasmine have done a great job raising their pups. She has found a strong mate in Storm. The Goddess has put him in the right place at the right time. Grandfather still makes me chuckle..great storyline with awesome characters!

Renee's story is extraordinary because her mate has a very unique skill set in protecting the wolf nation!

Sydney Addae writes the most fascinating and intriguing stories! I've been reading about the wolf nation since the inception of this riveting series and I have gone back to the beginning to read it from the start!!!

4.5 Stars

Definitely my favorite in this series with Jasmine & Silas’ pups. Lol. I do feel it ended rather quickly and easily tho so I couldn’t give it 5 Stars. But other than that, I really enjoy this whole series and the growth of their family/pack. Can’t wait for David & Sarita tho. Are they really mates tho?

Good story but typos get in the way

Loved Renee and Storm's story but the typos caused some inconsistencies and a choppiness to the story. Ms. Addae is usually more fluid with the story and also tighter and not so drawn out. Having said that, looking forward to David's story to hopefully restore my faith.

My favorite in the series!

This is one of my favorite in the series. Storm was fierce and yet loving with Renee. Renee was no nonsense and helped Storm feel safe. Always love the family being around. The sibling support in this story was outstanding. Of course Silas, Jasmine, Asia, Hawke and Angus are always great to see. Grandfather is a trip. He always wants to go to dinner, but doesn't eat. 😂 Or can’t eat. Hilarious!

Fight like a warrior

One of my most covenanted series. As always another amazing read about LA Patron and his den. Looking forward to the next book. I thought it was interesting that Renee's mate would!d be a mighty warrior, a deadly fighter. I always thought of her as dainty and feminine an awesome they are. Beauty and the Beast. Good read. Thank you.

Renee and Storm

An amazing artist gets swept up by Storm—a man befitting his namesake. Can her life includes the violence following him around and can he forgive or move on from his mission? This is another gripping addition to La Patton’s Den. Very fun to read!

love the book and author but….

So Storm can’t get mad or Justice for his alpha, alphas mate and pups being slaughtered but she can throw a fit over her museum being blown up and no one getting hurt but the bomber? Huh 🤔 ok that makes perfect sense!!

And blackwolf again says he’s the one who came back from death and impregnated a bunch of women so is he Angus’s lost alpha?
Inquiring minds want to know!!
