This book is fabulous. It is an amazing story of an older man younger woman story. It is fast pace, well written and interesting – before you know it you are at the end wanting more.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Another great read from Ms Ferrari. I have really been enjoying the latest book that have been coming out from Ms Ferrari. This latest book about Mila and Owen was a quick, hot and steamy book with just a hint of danger and family drama. Mila is the illegitimate daughter of the president. Owen is a secret service man who years ago was fired from the president's detail for something he did not do. Owen has a chance to save his career by guarding Mila while in Hawaii before he father comes to join her. Mila is now older and still has a crush on Owen. Owen tries to keep hi feelings for Mila hidden. She is older now and Owen finds himself very attractEd to her now. He tries to hide his attraction but is having trouble. Mila can tell Owen is seeing her as a grown woman now and pulls out all the stops. Once Owen gets a taste of her after they find themselves in danger he is not letting her go an will protect her from the threats they now lface when someone is after them. This was such a great read and I loved the chemistry between them. Very well written and a great HEA! A must read.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Mila Adams and Owen. Owen was once a secret service agent and Mila was the girl he was ordered to look after. While Mila was under his care there was a rumor about them that the president took seriously and fired him for. Since then he has had trouble finding work so when a job came up to shadow a VIP for a weekend he took a chance and bid on it. Mila has had a crush on Owen for years but one day he was just up and gone. She knows she is the daughter the president doesn't acknowledge but she wants to be wanted. So she is going to do her best to tempt Owen into just that. Little did they both know what would happen in just one short weekend. Will they find their HEA or will it be the end for both of them?

This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Mila is the President's secret daughter and she is Owen's assignment. She was also the reason he lost his job even though she doesn't know it. When Owen sees Mila again he is stunned by his attraction and tries to fight it. Mila doesn't know why Owen disappeared before but she is going to make the most of her chance with him this time. When they are out in the water a encounter with sharks sends them both reeling so much that they give into temptation and sleep together. Once Mila is where Owen is supposed to leave her everything is over for them or so he thinks. Something doesn't feel right to him about the situation and he comes back for his woman just as someone is about to try and harm her. Will Owen save his woman in time? What will her father say about them being together?

This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first page. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Owen was fired from being a part of the presidents secret service security detail he was fired by the president himself for having sex with his 18 year old daughter but it never happened, now Owen can’t believe it he has to protect the presidents daughter that he doesn’t even acknowledge but if Owen doesn’t take the job he might as well forget about working in the security industry ever again. Dam that girl has filled out in all the right places well she’s not a girl anymore she’s a gorgeous woman he’s going to have trouble keeping his hands to himself. Mila didn’t know why Owen left her dad’s security detail it broke her heart and now she can’t believe that she is so lucky to have Owen standing there waiting for her. Mila and Owen end up having sex and Owen tells Mila that it’s not going to happen again but Mila knows better, now someone is out there trying to kill Mila and Owen has to get his head on straight. This is such a fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This was the first book I've read of Flora Ferrari and it did not disappoint. It took me in form the very beginning and did let up until I finished. It's the story of Owen and alpha male president secret service agent who was on the president's secret daughter detail. Mila had a teenage crush on him. There was a rumor Owen had a relationship with her (while he was always professional) the president believed and fired him for it. He's now unemployed and bids on a job protecting a VIP for the weekend. It ends up being Mila. He's determined to keep it professional until Milsa's in danger. I won't go on any more you'll have to read the story to find out for your self. Will they get their HEA? I Love this story it was fast paced action packed with hot and steamy thrown in. It is a definitely a must read you will enjoy if you love hot and steamy romance!

He sure knows how to guard a body!!!

Bodyguard is another winner of a book by Flora Ferrari. She definitely knows how to write the older Alpha man and younger woman romance. This time around Owen is an ex Secret Service agent who was fired because of a rumor that he was guarding more than Mila's body in the professional manner. Mila the the Presidents daughter that has been kept hidden but she still needed to be protected. So Owen was assigned to guard her and she developed a crush on him which never went further than that.
Now there is a second chance in more ways than one between Owen and Mila while they are both in Hawaii and her life is in danger. Of course Owen being the big Alpha protective hero that he is jumps into action and will stop at nothing to keep Mila safe and then also with him forever.

This may have been a short read but it has Helicopter mishaps, swarming killer sharks, speeding motorcycle, planted evidence, false accusations, assassination attempts not on one but three people, one the Presidents illegitimate daughter two her Bodyguard three the President himself all for jealousy, jealous that Owen was getting the attention he wanted from Mila, from the President. So a plan is set but even down in his luck Owen puts the pieces together, saves the day gets the bad guy and the girl. Betrayal be dammed four years and a long time coming Owen and Mila ger their HEA. This book is R rated, yes I did shed some tears but not much. All this story stuffed in about a hours read so worth it .

This is another short but fun filled story by this author. I have read a few now and love how these shorter in length stories always manage to pack such a fulfilling punch. Owen was a member of the Secret Service but was let go under false pretenses. A friend of his hooks him with another job, Owen hopes this will get him back in the security circuits good graces. The job he is given is to look after Mila for the weekend in Hawaii. Not hard but Mila is the President's secret daughter and the reason he was let go from the Secret Service four years ago. There is a lot to take in with this one but well worth the ride. The extended epilogue were awesome as well. Mila is one lucky lady with Owen. He is not only a protector but is very intelligent when it comes to taking on his surroundings. Enjoy!

Four years ago Owen was booted from the secret service for having an affair with the president unrecognised daughter something he didn't even do after all he only thought of her has bratty little sister. Now he works a personel protection officer and imagine his surprise when he finds out his latest client his non other than Mila the presidents daughter. He knows he should walk away but if he does he will end his career and also she isn't the little girl he remembers in fact she is all grown up and her curves call to him. When danger strikes he will have to make the ultimate choice keep her or the president safe Oh hell there isn't really a choice at all he has to keep her safe or his heart would be broken

This is a great story about Owen and Mila. Owen is looking for work after being dismissed under false pretenses from the Secret Service. He finally gets a contract but second-guesses himself when he realizes he had to protect Mila. He lost his previous job because he was accused of sleeping with her, while underaged and she's the president's daughter. The contract is only for a weekend, he can handle it, right? The characters have strong yet vulnerable personalities with lots of determination. This becomes even more apparent in the ups and downs, twists and turns and suspense of the storyline. The added passion and desire makes out an even better read.

Owen was fired from the Secret Service over the secret daughter of the President now he is her bodyguard.
After getting dismissed from the President's Secret Service Detail by the President himself for for something he had not done Owen has found it hard to get employment but then her gets a contract to guard a VIP. He is shocked to find that he will be guarding the reason for his dismissal the President's secret daughter Mila Adams. As he now finds the grown up Mila very attractive he knows it is going to be a difficult job but then incidents happen that could be seen as accident but when he check are not.

A little short to do it justice. The story is about Mila, the President's illegitimate and secret daughter and Owen, an ex-presidential bodyguard. Their relationship is forbidden but their lust for each other can't be repressed after 4 long years of yearning. This book started very well to about 60 percent of the way in, then began to go a bit flat. The idea was good, the characters likable, there was some quite clean heat even. For me it was too short to get a better feeling about it. The scenes and the characters' feelings were well described. We get a HEA but that comes at the expense of the book being hurried to be finished quickly. Some re-editing would improve the experience.

What starts out as a routine assignment quickly turns into an action adventure, full of suspense as Owen tracks the villain who's trying to kill Mila. Yet there's still plenty of time for him to finally confront his feelings for her, and for them to explore their passionate chemistry together. More of a second-chance story than an insta-love, it's refreshing to see Mila as the one who knows exactly what she wants. It's a fast-paced romance with a wonderful HEA. This story is short, fast paced and enjoyable. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I liked Owen and Mila. I saw some chemistry between them but would have liked a little more. That being said, I liked Owen and Mila as a couple. I liked how protective Owen was of Mila. Yes he was her bodyguard and it was his job but it was more than that. He truly protected her because of his love for her.
I have to admit, I figured out who the villain was. That being said, I liked that Owen was able to stop him and save Mila and her father.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read.

Loved it

Owen is a former secret service agent, now struggling bodyguard. Fired by the President for his relationship with his daughter. While Owen knew Mila crushed on him, he never encouraged her or had any relationship with her other than professional.
Mila is on vacation in Hawaii, and to watch her father's speech at Pearl Harbor. She is thrilled when she sees Owen waiting for her when she gets off the plane. Her teenage crush is her bodyguard. Maybe she can convince him on acting out some teenage fantasy.
Owen keeps it professional, until Mila's life is in danger.
Fun fast and steamy. A great action movie type story. Loved the epilogue's.

I have mixed feelings on this one. Mila initially came across as immature and manipulative in her thinking. Owen was not much better. NO protection every time they had sex? Really?!! In this day and age? That just did not seem like what a responsible former Secret Service Agent would do. Especially with the daughter of the President. Even if that daughter was not officially recognized by the President. I was really disappointed with that part of the book. Once the action started the book improved considerably. And the extended epilogues were great.

Oh I am totally addicted to Flora Ferrari's books! She writes one hot read after another. Bodyguard certainly ranks among one of my favorites. Owen is angry when he is chosen to guard the President's secret daughter after having been previously fired by the President for something he didn't do. But if he wants to reestablish his reputation and career in security, he has no other choice but to take the job. Mila definitely hasn't forgotten the sexy bodyguard and this time she is determined to get his attention. She has crushed on him for years. Oh boy does she ever! As Owen and Mila give in to their passions, can he save Mila from a hidden threat? Another hot read!

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I loved this quick story about Owen and Mila. She's the not claimed daughter of the president and he's ex secret service. He's been tasked with protecting hey in Hawaii before her dad gives a speech. When out swimming in ocean, an almost steak shark attack leaves him wondering who is after her. They fight their building attraction due to professionalism. When an old friend betrays you and endangers what you want becomes a life or death encounter. Great HEA.

I can’t choose a favorite when they’re all so good! Flora Ferrari has done it again! I loved Bodyguard so much I couldn’t put it down! It kept me on my toes from the beginning when I figured out that both incidents weren’t a coincidence! I loved Mila and Owen and I loved their story, I’m a sucker for a HEA and I’m glad Mila got both the man of her dreams and the father who was proud to claim her as his! Another hit Flora can’t wait to read more!

This story has drama, suspense and romance all in one. Owen was once on the Secret Service of the President guarding Mila the President's eighteen year old daughter that no one is to know about until he was pulled off for something he did not do. Now he bids on another job and finds out he is to guard the very grown up beautiful Mila once again and he's not sure if he can keep his hands off her but when threats are made he will guard her with his life.

We find that things won't go as easy as either thought, especially when things start to happen, whilst on their last minute outing.

Excellent. I will definitely be reading more by this author. Absolutely fantastic. Owen is supposed to be protecting Mia, but everywhere he turns there is danger. Someone is always one step ahead of him. This book is nonstop chills, spills and thrills from the very first chapter. Excellent storyline with excellent characters that you cannot help but fall in love with. Even though this is a short book, I could not put it down. It is action-packed like a big screen movie. Great book.

Sometimes when you face serious challenges, it is for life! If Mila and Owen are lucky, and make it through, this could be the start of their HEA and family.

"Bodyguard" has everything you could possibly need in a read. It's steamy, sweet, intriguing & full of drama!

The characters, Owen & Mila are so lovable. I became immersed within the pages & didn't want to resurface until the very last word!
