The Voyeur #2

Watching the Voyeur

Rate this book
Patrick’s job should be easy. Watch the Club. Drive Annie to work and back and keep her out of trouble. That shouldn’t be too hard except being around her is making him question his decision to keep his hands to himself.

Annie is determined to enjoy her two weeks without Ethan watching her every move. She’d love to enjoy it with Patrick, but if he’s unwilling, she’ll find someone else.

When Patrick discovers the shady past of Annie’s new beau, all bets are off. If she really wants a man—he’s the one for her.

This is the second book in the four book series. Book four ends with a HEA. This has hot, kinky sex scenes so it's meant for those over eighteen.

He Should Run Marathons

4.5 stars - Annabelle "Annie" Argotos has a spirit and backbone that I appreciate. Patrick is so far in over his head with this woman, even when he thinks he's in control, that it's utterly hilarious! They do have an interesting dynamic.

He grabbed Vic’s letter and fled, shoving his dick back into his pants. This was the third time today he’d acted like a coward, not a marine, and he’d only been around her for a few hours.
-- Patrick

Fleeing seems to be Patrick modus operandi. I wonder if he invests in track shoes. 🤔😂 He even drives me to the brink of insanity. Nick is insightful, and I can't say that I fault her logic based on Patrick's actions.

Of course, when he isn't being a dipshit, the chemistry between them is explosive! I can't wait to see where this goes in the next installment.

Watching The Voyeur - Book 2

This was a great introduction to the Annie and Patrick story. He is paying his honor to the wrong person, her brother.

Great imagery, however, the torment that Patrick put on himself for falling in love with his friend sister is a bit much...I was like damn she is a grown ass woman, who is beautiful, sweet, nice, stubborn, and have an attitude that can take on anyone or anything...Hell she was the youngest out of all her brothers and they did raise her to take care of herself so stop the bullshit and admit your feeling so everyone can move on and be happy...Nick perspective of coming to terms with his little sister dating was breath-taking and it was nice that he tried to pass the knowledge to his friend before it was too late...But the pain he put Annie through before realizing the truth was horrible....Overall these books were short but filled with so much intensity, love, compassion and honor I couldn't help but to read the entire series to see what will happen next for Annie and Patrick...I wasnt disappointed....

Patrick and Annie want each other. Ethan wants her protected while he's gone for two weeks and assigns the job to Patrick. What's a man to do? He's a one woman at a time kind of man. Annie is a voyeur who is continually watching ménages. Patrick doesn't want anyone else touching her even though he can't have her.
Ellis O. Day has taken the perfect catch 22 and let her characters bare their souls and feeling in this storyline. Once again, Safe, Sane and Consensual is always foremost brought into play as the reader will see when a NO is presented. The plot is thickening as Patrick has his friend and co-worker follow a lead that might locate Vic.

Loved reading Patrick and Annie's story. The attraction between them is so undeniable and only made more fun to read about given how Patrick tries to resist the attraction once he finds out who Annie is. The scene in Ethan's office when Patrick is trying to play cool and Nick knows something has happened is, as they say, "priceless". I love stories like this that aren't just about the kink, we get a true story happening between the characters, great humor, and a look at what is happening at the club. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Patrick is thrown together with Annie and is smitten, but when he realises she is the sister of one of his best friends, he is placed in an uncomfortable quandary. The sexual attraction is mutual but he wants to respect her and he's also a little worried she'll break his heart. A strongly sexual and steamy romance.

Plenty of spice with a very good plot. It's wonderful to have a truly good author in a genre where many are subpar. With Ellis O. Day you get lots of sexy scenes in a book with a real plot and fully-fledged characters.

Patrick remembered that he told Ethan. He would watch over her and make sure he would pick her up and take her home. She had two stops before she went home but he argued with her until she was home. She tells him about the letter she had received after their father had died. Patrick told her if she had the envelope he might be able to track him down and make sure it is from him. Patrick comes over to her house to bring over one of her bags she forgot. Her friend Chelsea was going to stay for dinner that Annie started. Chelsea opens the door and sees Patrick so she invites him in and he told her he was going to fix the plumbing for Annie. Chelsea then invites him to stay for dinner which Annie said NO. Chelsea then tells her she had to leave right away. Patrick was picking Annie at school so he got angry when he sees her with to two guy friends. He tells her on the way to work that he does not want her walking with them. Annie blew a gasket tell him he was nothing to her and back off. He gets back to the club and into Ethan’s office as he is checking the monitor and sees Annie flirting with the sous chef or the dishwasher. Nick comes into the office and sees that Patrick is watching Annie and he and Nick had a discussion of how she is off limits to him because of Ethan and Vick. Nick tells him to go after her before someone else. All of a sudden he went to look for Annie but she seemed to be missing. He was checking all the rooms when he spots some curtains moving and he thought about his little voyeur. Twists
and turns will Patrick finally come to his senses. Will they be able to find
Vic so they could figure things out.

Watching the Voyeur: Book 2

Unusual acquaintances, at the La Petite Most Club, sex club. The owner and his friends are friends with the brother, she has known Ryan and Patrick since High School, crushing on Patrick, she is their best friends little sister so they are looking out for her while brother tries to get through his PTSD and set his mind straight. So little sis is hot for Patrick but he won't penetrate her as respect for her brother. The guys were in the Marines together and you know they have a strong code.
It will be interesting to see what will finally happen.

This book is hotter than book one and funnier. Patrick and Annie's chemistry sizzles with unrequited lust.

It's a fun, hot ride - check it out.
