Good series! Never a dull moment because of its good storytelling & writing from the first page to the ending. Recommended to everyone!

My favourite detective series. You can tell the author was a police officer in her lifetime because the work and protocol written are so real. Of the four books so far, this one’s main case was an honest to god treasure hunt and my favourite case. I learned a lot in cryptology and cannot wait for the next adventure.
The characters are all so loveable and each instalment is full of adventure, good humour, and mind-wringing mystery.
Do you ever want to read about police women who happen to be gay rather than gay women who happen to be police? This series—this author, really—knows how to write incredibly real and interesting characters who are defined by their personalities, skills, and talents rather than their sexuality. Can’t wait to see more of Alex Wolfe and, well, everyone else!!

The author continues the story of Alex's career and life. She knows quite a few characters and the author leaves none of them out. The reader is pulled in deeper as new characters come into play and are major contributors to this story. The characters are well portrayed and consistent with their previous exposure to the reader. If you love mysteries with off beat characters and real police drama dive into this book. Even better, start with the first as they build very nicely on each other.

Love this series
I’m so happy that I found this series. I’ve been reading for pleasure since I was a kid (I’m 67). I have to admit that I love a good smart aleck like Alex. (But I kind of felt sorry for Kate at times). Great stories with bigger than life characters make me really admire the author. Thank you.

Another great novel!
It is good to get enjoyment from reading a book, and that is what you get here. Who would have thought that a bone sticking out of a camper toilet would be the start of a very complex case? One that does need following closely and interspersed with wonderful laugh out loud moments.

The stories just keep getting better
I'm in the process of reading the entire set of books in this series. So far there have been no disappointment s. The story lines are great. The humor is even better. You can't go wrong reading these novels!

This story keeps you guessing from beginning to end. Once you start you want to make sure you have plenty time to finish because you just want to keep turning page after page. It holds your interest all the way through. I look forward to more in this series of Alex Wolfe.

This 4th book in the series takes us through a mobster war, a sniper shooting, and some party-hardy vintage campers on a mystery ending up with a hidden treasure. It's a ride worth taking.

I really enjoyed the Alex with stories. I love how exasperated Kate gets with Alex. Everyone needs a best friend like Megan.

I love the characters!
I have enjoyed this series tremendously. Great chemistry between the characters and the stories keep you on edge. Humor abounds. Great reads!

Absolutely love this series
I love Alex and all her crazy antics. It is very entertaining and I can't put it down. I would definitely recommend the whole series.
