Loved this book! Great bible study and definitely helped me to see things in a different way! It shows the importance of being close to God in your time of waiting
If there is one thing that I have learnt from reading this book and praying through the prayers is that to be found by your Boaz you need to be found in Christ. Cultivate your relationship with God and work towards being a godly woman so that when your Boaz finds you, you are a sweet aroma
I am not great at keeping consistent with devotionals in physical book format to say the least. This books took me an extremely long time to get through. I actually got the book when I was single, and then picked it back up a year into my marriage. I found that it was more impactful personally when I was married and reading. I didn’t have anyone in my life when I was single to practice the characteristics and communication skills discussed. When I read it while married though, everything discussed was something I could practice daily with my husband and with the Lord. It definitely impacted my heart posture and fostered growth in my heart posture towards my husband, towards our marriage, and in relationship with The Lord. I definitely recommend reading while in marriage, as well as single:)
DNF on Day 10. Scripture was quoted inaccurately by book nine and wording. Of presenting the word please do it right.
“Matthew 8: 21-22 tells us this, “Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not just seven times, but seventy-seven times!””
I really enjoyed this book, and plan to read it again and use the prayers over my life and my future husband's life. It was definitely written in love, and seeking after the one who created LOVE.
Great read. I definitely recommend this book. Words of encouragement. It definitely opened my eyes and help me understand what it is to be patient and wait in God.
