On The Edge of Evil

Rate this book
The passion of desire, heightened by the intensity of lust slams through Kieran Sanford on a night that cripples his mind. He is an artist and a martial artist. He is used to having any woman he wanted but he wanted love and pushed away the easy of sex. Sonia walked into his gallery on a day that changed his life .She was a detective but not for the good guys and on a day she wanted to buy some art with her fresh pay off money, she met him, the one she wanted. He was a wild eyed dark haired man that created a fire in her soul and enveloped her body with just his glance.

Louise was a librarian and had been looking for someone to hold her every night and love her passionately. She had about given up on love when he walked through the door. His long dark hair and blue eyes caused her to quiver, he walked through the library with a sensual stride, strong arms and a smile that almost caused her to climax at that moment. She would have this one. Kieran could not believe his attraction to her, he had just made love to Sonia and now he wanted this blonde haired, long legged hot woman that stood in front of him.

An ancient artifact has arrived in the town and brought with it a battle of powers. Light against dark, evil against good. The rock amplified the holders soul. Kieran had to get the rock and rise above his lust to fill his soul with pure love and defeat the epitome of evil that had arrived. If he failed the town would suffer into eternity as would the world.

Love is powerful but so is lust and greed. The suspense begins with a journey through three days in a town on the Pacific coast. A small town with a big job. Kieran has to touch forever with light or lose it to the grasp of night.

Twists and turns with every turn of the page. The perfect love story with suspense and mystery. Every emotion is felt through the moments of choices and love. Breathtaking love scenes with heartbreaking circumstances. Open the book and begin a journey into the town of Freemont, where time has stopped with the light slipping through darkness grasping for hope.

On The Edge of Evil is a wonderful story. It will take you through a wide range of emotions that will send your world spinning. Good vs. Evil, Love vs. Lust, Hope vs. Despair, Truth vs. Lies… not to mention the excitement and laughter that Mitch Bensel brings to this book. Normally, I can figure out a book before the ending. This time I was pleasantly surprised. The twists and turns are easy to follow, but at the same time will shock you. I feel extremely privileged to have read this book and look forward to reading more from this amazing author.

I bought "On the Edge of Evil" upon recommendation of a friend. I found it to be very different from any other book. Never before had I read such a good descriptions of what demons may look like and how they interacted with and fooled humans. I found it fascinating to see how this theme developed with the main character and his female interests. The relationships between good and evil were not apparent to me early in the book. As I read, I found the story began to be somewhat frightening. At times, it was too scary and I had to stop reading for a while. It was worth finishing! Complex interactions between characters kept my interest. I thoroughly enjoyed the unexpected but great ending.
