Bear Home for Christmas:
I so love Ariana Hawkes work. She is so creative and does such an amazing job.
Noelle Hollis was an amazing, beautiful. curvy woman. She has been through so much in her life. Between her parents dying at a young age, loosing her grandmother shortly after, then ending the the foster care system it just seemed so sad. Now here she is in a small town that she has not been back in in 12 years.
Granger was this handsome bear shifter. He was on this search for his stupid little brother. His brother had ran away with this girl and Granger was trying to get him home from Christmas. Now Granger finds himself in a coffee shop with a woman he feels sorry for, finds beautiful, and wants to get to know better.
The more time Granger spends with Noelle the more he realizes she is his mate. Will Granger be able to win Noelle’s heart? Will Noelle be able to handle the not only the news that she is his mate but that Granger is a shifter.
I know you are going to love this story just as much as me.

I love Ariana Hawkes books. She has brought us so many wonderful books and trust me when I say this one is no exception. This was such a wonderful story of a bear shifter longing and searching for his mate and doing what ever it takes to find her.
I loved Caleb Ridgeman. He was this lonely handsome bear shifter. Like most bear shifters he longed to find his mate. He went to the christmas parties each year to find his mate. Each year he was disappointed. You often wonder what woke him up that night. He was woken to by something. Something telling him he must leave Stonybear Peak to find his mate. This had to be a very hard decision for him. He would be leaving his home and clan behind and for what to find his one true mate. It was said that a voice had spoken to him telling him this is what he must do. Was it fate speaking to him or was it his bear knowing their mate needed them?
I loved Caleb’s best friend Dominic. He hated to see his best friend go. Dominic had hoped Caleb would of found his mate at the party. The party had just made Caleb more lonely and knowing what he must do.
Paige Buchanan was this beautiful plus size woman. She had found her self in a loveless relationship with a monster of a man. She was mistreated and abused. She feared what Kurt her boyfriend was capable of. So when Caleb gave her a life line she took it without thinking twice.
Though Caleb might of helped Paige that does not mean that danger is not around the corner. Caleb must do everything he can to keep his mate safe. He also must do everything to keep from scaring her. She just got out of an abusive relationship so how will she handle finding out that this bear shifter is claiming that she is his mate?

I received this for a honest review. Ariana Hawkes always does such an amazing job, just love her work. This was such a sweet story.
Madison Armstrong was happy to be back in Misty Hollow. When reading this story you will not only fall in love with the people but also the town as well. Madison had missed out on so much. She was tired of living in Chicago and when the chance to move back home to help her mother came she jumped at the chance. She missed her family and seeing her nieces growing up.
Brock was this handsome bear shifter. He had been smitten by Madison for so long, ever since high school. Now here she was buying a Christmas tree at his uncles shop. It is like fate stepped in to give him a chance.
I loved the fact that Brock, Riley, and Grayson jumped at the chance to help the Armstrong women out when they needed them. Sorry you will have to read the book to find out what happen. Madison did love watching Brock with her nieces. She could tell that he would be good father one day.
Don’t worry this book is a HEA book. Trust me when I say you are not going to want to miss out on everything thing that happens. Christmas will always be very special from here on out to the Armstrong woman and to these three shifter bears.

Stories range from enjoyable to stupid. Some of these I have read before.
1 - BEAR HOME FOR CHRISTMAS (Christmas Bears 1)
Poor desperate Noelle had been alone and in foster care since she was 10 years old. Since the last foster family to have her physically abused her to make her behave, Noelle became an unemotional robot just going through life. This carried over until the present day and impacts her making bad decisions and behaviour.
Really feeling depressed she decides on a whim (bad decision again) to get on a bus and to go see the only ex foster parents that were the only people who were ever kind to her.
Turning up in town she gets a rude surprise as they are no longer living there.
Feeling really sad for herself she goes into a café and cries.
Enter Grainger, bear shifter, ex special forces soldier on the hunt for his runaway brother.
Grainger is drawn to Noelle, his bear telling him she is their mate. He asks her to accompany him and help on his search.
What happens next becomes a life changing trip and ends up with Noelle doing some much needed thinking and prioritising of her life.
Falling in love with Grainger was no hardship either as he was wonderful and caring. Having her very own bear shifter mate and his wonderful family, Noelle will never be unloved or alone again.
A very enjoyable feel good story.
BEAR CHRISTMAS MAGIC
Whilst I enjoyed this book I thought the explanation for why the town was like it was and what had happened to Harlow’s mother just a bit pathetic. No mother would leave her mate and child for 20 years on the word of some elder/seer. Surely you would just move towns rather than live being told crap like that.
BEAR MY PERFECT GIFT (Christmas Bears 3)
Not my perfect read. The behaviour in this book makes it a total turn off.
Caleb is lonely and wants a mate and cubs so decides to go out and look for her but before he leaves on his search he has sex with his friend Rita. That did not endear me to him at all.
Then Caleb meets his mate in a diner but she is a doormat who is staying in an abusive relationship with a wolf shifter. Sorry I just had no respect for Paige. I don’t care if Kurt threatened her family, grow some balls. She runs off with Caleb, then when Kurt kidnaps her stays quiet instead of yelling her head off so Caleb can save her and fight Kurt off.
When Caleb does finally fight and kill Kurt they dispose of his body and car in a frozen lake and it is all sunshine and drug money.
So not what I expect from this author. Really didn’t like Paige and whilst Caleb could have been better he lumped himself in with Paige with his actions.
Such a pity as books 1 and 2 were great Christmas stories.
BEAR MINE FOR CHRISTMAS (Christmas Bears 2)
What a perfect Christmas read.
Second chance romance with a good story, no angst and lots of happiness.
Liked this whole group we meet in this book. Madison and Brock were lovely together and I really had a happy buzz when I finished this book.
It was really good too that the sister and their mother all seem to have HEA’s as well. How wonderfully cute.

Everly was lovely if a bit soft allowing her parents and family to treat her that way.
Heath was a bit of an idiot to me and really only sort of redeemed himself at the end. Loved the children in this story though and the ending was so lovely, really heart-warming.

Bear My Perfect is about Caleb who is a bear shifter and hasn't found his mate. He left his clan to find he has made at his cousin's town. He met Paige on the way. She has been abused by her boyfriend who is a wolf shifter. Will Caleb and Paige fall in love?
Bear Mine for Christmas is about Madison, who is the lawyer and return home to her family. She meets Brock, a bear shifter that you knew in high school, while picking up a Christmas tree. During the Christmas parade her niece was missing. Will they be able to find her niece and discovered love in the bargain?
Polar Bear Christmas is about Everly is a polar bear shifter who has been not quite fitting in with her family, being verbally put down, and working at her family furniture building factory. She meets Heath that her sister's wedding and had a crush on him.
Everly meet his two children. Heath is in denial that Everly is his mate. Will they ever get together?
The characters are intriguing, talented, and troubled about their relationships. The plot is what makes relationship work. I like that the author write but different types of shifters and make them relatable to the reader. They also have funny side and a serious side to each story that makes it enjoyable reading. I very highly recommended this box set.

For me this box set it so touching ! I will be leaving a review for Bear Home for Christmas and this is Granger and Noelle's story . It starts off with a Noelle wanting to see her old foster parents without any planning just an impulse to see them . Of course a blizzard has be hitting ! So inside a cafe she steps on Granger ( not knowing him of course !) and while drinking her coffee life hits her and she kind of looses it and Granger comes to check on her . Granger is such a cool shifter I just have to say !! The ups and downs in this story along with some surprises will keep you turning the pages !! This is well written and recommended .

After reading a quite intense series, I felt in the mood for something feel good, when I saw this book sitting in my collection I thought, I'll give it a go. So glad I did. It's a collection of different books all set at Christmas. All different types of stories, all with a HEA, all fantastic reads. Brilliant stories, loved them all. So if you're in the mood to feel good, Ariana Hawkes has just the thing for you, enjoy.

All old stories
This was a good boxset but I've read all the books before. I thought it would be something new or at least one or two new books so that was a disappointment. If you're like me and you've read most if not all of Ariana Hawkes book then save the money and skip this one.

Great collection of five books that are delightful, entertaining and full of holiday spirit. Each book is full of charismatic characters (and a few annoying ones) with different plots. Each book takes you to a world with bear shifters involving Christmas with fulfilling and rewarding stories. So glad to have read this fun collection.

Survivor
As an albino living in a clan of intolerant bear shifters she grew up unloved, overworked and mocked by everyone including her parents. Finding a polar bear shifter and his children should have made things good but somehow it seemed worse. Will she get her Christmas wish? Good adult read.

What a fun collection of shifters and romance
If you want shifters, steamy romance, and some obstacles but with HEA then this collection is for you. I highly recommend this collection. Great characters, interesting plots and it all draws you in.

Each story within the box set is different and well crafted. I couldn't put it down. I laughed and cried and then laughed again. Some scenes you will need to read away from polite company. They are so worth it. Enjoy!

Light fun, and not as repetitive as I feared between the five stories.
Both the characters and the settings vary, and while there's more telling than showing in the world-building, they do seem thought through.

I enjoyed the stories in this set. There was humor and passion and HEA's. But the last book was off, referring to events that hadn't been covered here. Still, it isn't too hard to follow along.
