OMG I think this is the most compelling story yet in this series. such inner turmoil of the main male character.

Fighting for a cause is one thing, but what if that cause was lost in the translation? What if it was just too much to take in? One man is about to meet his fate with a very real wake up call. Will he fold when they come knocking or will he choose to make his stand?
You just have to love a cliff hanger! Love this series. Can't get enough of this Author. I just can't get enough of these characters and their plight as their journey progresses. It definitely isn't all flowers and roses. I voluntarily received a complimentary copy for an honest review.

Blood calls to blood, 5 DROPS OF BLOOD
soul calls to soul. There was only the storm now—only the heat. Only the spirit of an immortal searching for a hold. In this moment, he was my blood. he was the one thing I ached for—and the one thing I’d never had. Mortal or not…the Commander was mine. Do you hear me? He cannot die! All my judgement brought me here. To this very moment…to this cruel fate. WHOA! I CANNOT believe what all happened in this "short novel"! This is primarily Samson aka Commander's book, which is a little different, but a whole lot of awesomeness!! Annabelle shares the pages with Commander and we DO get to live & experience some pretty intriguing parts with & as her as well, but the majority is with, for, through and as Commander. One of the things I LOVE so much about this series is the darkly beautiful storytelling & the almost poetic way with words Kim has. Normally when something really intense happens, I usually skim through it until I know that the character is okay, or the situation is favorably "resolved", but even with a life just barely hanging on I COULD NOT skim through it - not even for a few sentences - because of Kim's vividly descriptive wording/storytelling! If you've ever read my reviews you know that I always quote a couple/few lines from the book. Well...Kim has made that next to impossible! There are SO VERY MANY to choose from, that I feel any one of those lines - full or in part - would "represent" the book, that I feel would capture your attention and make you want to read the book, that would have you NEEDING to read this book! With her Alpha talent and unrivaled gift, Kim is truly the Commander here!! (Just don't tell Commander (the "star" of this book) that I said that! *wink*) Just like every single word I read, like every single *good* Vampire, Guardian, Wolf, mortal, or Marine, like every single book before it in this Zodiac Dragon Series, Commander has me wholly, utterly and ABSO-EFFEN-LUTELY COMPLETELY CONSUMED - mind, body, spirit, heart and soul!

Outstanding
Wow one again Kim has written a masterpiece . This book is shorter then the other books but don't be mistaken it is full of action and so much details you be hooked from the start to the end. Commander is a loyal marine he does everything by the book. His world is turned upside down everything he thought he knew was a lie . He meets the guardian's and other shifters he sees for himself the battle and the war that they have been fighting. Commander finds all this new information overwhelming and finds it hard to deal with. Just as he is starting to understand a war breaks out between the guardian's, shifters and the newly turned vamprire. Commander is left badly injured in fact he is dying. Annabelle knows Commander is her mate she will do anything to save his life. Even if it means injecting him with shifters DNA to save his life.
This book is amazing please read it.

Commander is the 9th book in The Zodiac Dragon Guardians and another fast paced, action packed read with a lot of elements I enjoy in a good book.
I enjoyed Commander Samson Annabelle, First Circle Warrior for the Shadista Vampire Queen’s story and their roles with the Guardians. The Author takes us on one hell of a roller coaster ride as Annabelle must do whatever she can to protect and and save her mate after he is injured protecting.
After Marks sees the proof of what has really been happening, he will fight side by side with the Guardians, Alphas team, Shifter, Vampires an Berserker to right the wrong.
Loved the the unique storyline and hated that story ended so soon.
Another great addition to the series and recommend reading them in order to better understand how everyone fits into the story.

Every time Commander Samson Marks got more knowledge about what was really going on, who were the enemies, he felt anger, guilty and pain. Feeling he had failed to protect his own, he joined Alpha and his team to work against the threat. Battles were bloody, deadly and he was compromised. Would he find redemption, love or fail again? Intense and exciting story with action, suspense, magic, intrigue, passion, violence and more secrets revealed. Like these secondary characters’ stories in the Dragon Guardians series. They add to the action and intensity of the series and we get to know their motivations, secrets and alliances.

Who knew
Ok to be honest when I read the first book in this series I didn't like it that much, but I liked the plot even if I didn't necessarily enjoy the execution of said plot. Based on my faith in the plot I read the second book, then the third, and the rest is history. The books got better and better and my rating went from 3 stars to 4 and finally to 5. I'm absolutely obsessed at this point and can't wait to read any and every book in this series.

The bad guys took on the wrong Marine.
Another winner. Each story is more exciting than the last. Commanders story has taken this series to a new level. They now know what and who they are up against and it's bad. Then just when I thought I could catch my breath as this story wound down Pisces made an appearance. Wow.

Short and sweet, I love this book. Loved the chemistry of the main characters and can't wait to read the next book in the series. Highly recommended series and you won't be disappointed in any way.

Wow this series keeps you wanting more and more. I want more of these strong characters stories. Commander (zodiac dragon guardian book 9) had me freaking out cause we know who the really bad guys are and man are they gonna be scary

Another excellent book by Kim Faulks, Commander, Zodiac Dragon Guardians book #9. I enjoyed reading this next book in the series. The ones behind the evil Shadow Government reveal themselves near the end of the book, bringing more questions to mind about their plans!

Another twist of fate.
This series is amazing. Shifters, vampires, shadow government, this series has it all. It shows we can deal with the demons inside. Especially when you have an army of humans and immortals at your back.

Fantastic be with me the story of changes made by the commander. He meets the vampire will she be his Saving Grace. This was a great read Cliffhanger but still Continuing Story I hope all the Guardians get their book if not the end seems close.

I love this series!
POSSIBLE SPOILERS......
Commander Marks is visiting the Gaurdians compound for a meet/greet and a baby naming ceremony for a pair of immortal twins.
Commander meets the vampire Queen and they work on figuring out what is going on with the Queen's brother and where he is possibly hiding.
At the hight of the ceremony the Gaurdian compound is attacked. As Commander tries to help the Gaurdians..he doesn't stand a chance against supernatural beings....
