Don't mess with the Medlovs!
Be they a Medlov man or a Medlov woman, if you come for one you come for all. Love of family is everything to all of them and they handle their business no matter how dirty. Like Renee said, God made Ana an alpha for a reason and that is to do what is necessary to protect his family. She has finally come into her own by accepting Anatoly's lifestyle and giving him permission to do what he does best because she has his back. Ana's love for Renee is deep and abiding as he realizes he does not deserve the love of a sweet woman like her. It's the same epiphany his father has about Royal as well. These men are totally in love with their wives and they know that they are only complete with them. It's amazing to see these big bad men just melt when it comes to their wives.
This was a great story, well plotted and written with all of the drama expected with the Medlov family. It was interesting to read about Dmitry's reaction to seeing Sanaa again after twenty years. There is an untold story there that I'm sure Latrivia will reveal in later books. Good job Latrivia.

Out of all of the author's characters, Anatoly has always been my favorite. And I know why because I knew there was a backstory for him but when we meet him, he is already a part of Dmitry's crew. Yes, we know he is the son of Dmitry but he always appeared standoffish but not because he wanted to but growing up in the harsh conditions, being a father figure to his younger siblings, trying to help his mom, is extremely traumatic for anyone who is going through it. Now we get the full backstory that endeared him to me even more.
Anatoly Medlov is the Boss, and we know that Dmitry is the Czar but he knew that Anatoly was the next person to take his rightful place at the head, and he has not let his father down since. Now the drugging of his son has Dmitry stepping back in (which he never left) so let's be clear. But people needed to realize that they f*^ked with the wrong person. And with Anatoly now realizing that his sister was being held captive and being used as a sex slave, the gates of hell will not prevail against the Medlovs now. Miami, FL will run red with everyone's blood being spilled if his sister is not rescued and returned to him.
We got to see Renee and Ana's marriage take a new turn and growing turn and now these two are Fire and Fire together. It was great to see them solidifying and standing together. Ana needed that and so did Renee because she didn't realize just how much of a hold she has on him. Royal being the head of the family with her husband Dmitry had to really school her about what it truly means to be married to a Medlov and I love that it was all done with love because that's what real women do, not to shame but to love one another.
Anil, Dmitry's newly found son is a spitting image of him except for he is darker. Is now in the fold but not as a gangster but as a son trying to take care of his dying mother, got to school because he wants to be a doctor and is really the compass for Dmitry. He had no idea that there was another child out there and finding him (which he already did) but just getting the answer (which he already knew), was just the icing on the cake for him. Dmitry although the Czar, is a husband and family man first.
One of the funniest scenes is when Anatoly went to the kitchen butt a$$ naked with just his house shoes on to get him and Renee something to eat. And Dmitry thinking he was coming to get something to eat too, turned right back around after seeing Anatoly with no clothes on. The way I wanted to holler but I was on the express bus going to work, but the tears were streaming down my eyes because I just that it was so hilarious.
This 2 part book of Anatoly's is definitely a reread. And just an all-out fantastic story with lots of action. It sits right up there with "The World in Reverse" for me.

I absolutely, loved book 2. I loved that Reene became a true mafia wife. That was a long over due. The story was fast paced and riveting.

Oh Yeah This Is Good!!!
You know everyone I read one of the stories about the Medlov family I both cringe and Trimble,I cringe because I think this can not end and I tremble because I'm so excited that I just because I know the story is going to be that good!!The next installment of Anatoly's story was done so well,it was great to see the growth in not only his character but the of Renee's as well.I was beginning to think that she would continue to walk around with blinders on thinking that the bubble she lived in was real.To say this was just good is an gross understatement,this story was out of this world good from start to finish.The writer captures every emotion and she sings every one out of you.This was just true gangster!!

Finally!
This series is my weakness, I love it! I can’t tell you how long I have been waiting for more of my favorite Medlov Man Anatoly. This book delivered all one would expect Mrs.Welch and more. For the 1st time since Renee and Anatoly have been together, we get a chance to really get to see how they are as a couple, the ups and downs of marriage and get a real feel for their love for one another. All the Medlov favs make an appearance and fight a battle for the ages, letting the world know once again, you don’t mess with the Medlovs!

Fitting conclusion!!!
I know some people were disappointed because of the delay but I'm sure they'll agree that it's was well worth the wait.
It's always exciting when it's about the Medlovs, this was about Anatoly, Renee and the rest of the family. They prove that family is very important and if one is hurting then they all are hurting. You cannot hurt a Medlov and not expect the wrath of the family to be all over you.
I like the human trafficking handle and the length that Anatoly went through to avenge those that hurt his sister. I also love that the women are coming into their own and have taken on causes dear to their hearts. I strongly recommend this series.

A month book 1 came out, I had to do a training at my job about human trafficking. I was not aware of the enormity of this crime. I want to thank you for writing about human trafficking and bringing an awareness to your audience. I hope you do more books similarly this and Gabriel's.

Bloody Sunday
Dmitry Medlov, aka the Butcher, has done it again! Another must read by Latrivia Welch and she didn’t disappoint! The Medlov men showed up and showed out like only they can. So happy to see Renee take off the rose colored glasses and recognize the family she married into and be the anchor Anatoly needs.

Alpha men at their best.
The character growth of Anatoly and Renee is amazing in this book. I'm so glad she finally realized who Anatoly truly is and helps him to grow, and vise versa. The strength of a strong man is truly evident when his queen rises to the occasion, and Renee has finally risen.

Wow , the book title say's Retribution. However for me it was about the finding and coming together of a family holding each other up. What a great book. I love these Medlov men , their women and close friends. I can't wait to read more about Anil who won everyone heart right away. 5 stars are just not enough

So in love, this book set my heart burning for Anatoly! Daddy Meldov had me ready to fight with him, as if my behind could jump in that book and be like "Dimtry what it do, boo! You need something?" This book is awesome and beautifully written! Can't wait to see what happens next!

Worth the wait
Again it was worth the wait. The characters, the story did not disappoint. I love these characters. I love looking into their lives, and what they do to protect. I love the author bringing in current events and her references to what's actually happening in the world it was refreshing while reading a story we know the author is current and awake and that's what I ask for in reading.. Thanks for this story. Loved it can't wait for the next book. And lastly my condolences to Ms. Welch's family.

I freaking loved this book. Wow! Mrs.Welch did a amazing job, I'm so glad that Renee became boss in this book it was awesome to see her finally support her husband. A fitting conclusion
This book is well worth the wait. As usual Latrivia Welch's writing is outstanding. The theme to the story is love, family and loyalty.
My immediate thought as I finish reading this book was James Browns lyrics to It's A Man's World.
The Medlov women showed just as much strength as the men. We got to see the wives and mothers intelligence, love and support is what helped together.

There really is nothing like family
Once again the Medlovs are all for one and one for all. What a great continuous of this wonderful family's ability to be living and kind,but at the same time they can be ruthless.I was so happy that Anatoly learned to open up and We need ability to let him be a man standing with him to what end.This family is the true meaning of love.

Truly Enjoyed!
Finally Renee grow some balls thanks to Royal. I would recommend this book and can't wait for the next. The storylines was realistic becuz we have girls being abducted daily. I hope the next book is not a long wait.

Read in one day during the daylight. Another short book that could have easily been combined with Book 1.
This book resolved most of the things I had a problem with in Book 1. Anatoly's Retribution could have easily been called The Medlov's Retribution. Most of the Medlovs played a part in Anatoly's retribution.
Renee realized who the Medlovs really were. However, it was a lesson learned almost too late. Royal also had to remind her of the role the women played in the men's lives. Even Anatoly was surprised at her complete about face. The conversation he had with her after coming off the first mission to save her sister revealed his surprise when he said: “Sometimes I am dumbfounded by the predicaments we get ourselves in” and she responded “We always manage to get out of them okay.” Anatoly glanced over faintly cynical. His eye held hers, making her blush. “Look who’s seeing the glass half-full these days.” That's exactly how I felt. No matter, she came around and Anatoly needed her support. There's more to the conversation but you'll have to read the book. All questions were answered.
I would love to read more about Anil, Marat and Peaches and Nadei and his baby girl and even Boris. How or where will Anastaysia fit? It's not a need left unfulfilled but interesting notes for future reference. It's amazing how the Medlovs will go to war for family which include all those who support and love the family. Their complete and utter retribution even shocked me at times. None are left who are involved in messing with any Medlovs - directly or indirect. "I didn't know" is not acceptable.
There were very few errors. So few that when there was one, it really jumped out which is good. I guess the ones not corrected assured that you were reading the a book by the same author. This is a book that I can recommend. I just wish Book 1 and 2 were combined. Who knows, that may be a treat for future readers.

Books one and two are nothing short of fantastic. I really enjoyed book two because you see more character building and interactions between Marat, Boris, Nadei and Peaches. Boris and Marat had me LOL'ing when it came to their banter.
We also see Ana and Renee's relationship grow, for the better. I have to admit, Renee' kind of irked me when it came to books one and two. She is different than the rest of the Medlov women because she has had a different life. However, we do see Renee' get another side of Renee' that you will enjoy. I also really enjoyed seeing Ana's emotions when it came to his sister. He may be the quiet and brooding type, but that man cares for his family.
I teared up reading when Anil and Dmitry had their talk while they were out on their morning run. Poor Anil but he is definitely strong, like his father. I hope he becomes a doctor.
I will be, patiently, waiting for Dmitry's Retribution. Mrs. Welch, I hope and pray and that no major characters are killed off in those two installments. I don't think my heart can take it.

These Medlov men are something else! I love how Anatoly has come full circle and love even more how Royal helped Renee see the error of her ways. Nobody's perfect. Not at all. Everyone has there own cross to bare. I'm glad Renee stopped living behind rose colored glasses to know and understand to whom she fell in love with and whom she married and made children with. It was a joy to see how not communicating could destroy what you and your partner built. Anatoly had a chance to see and hear how that was destroying Renee and he quickly got his ish together. Boris and Marat were hilarious! I can't wait to see how Marat and Peaches story would unfold. I know it will be goooodddddd!

A fitting conclusion to a lovely story
I loved how Renee and Anatoly's relationship grew in this latest release, also how Anatoly's characters has developed. The Medlov Men are strong, fiercely protective, alpha males and this book shows just how far they would go to protect their families.
A brilliantly written book with lots of seriously touching moments, as well as humorous moments from Marat and Boris. Really looking forward to more stories about this family, well worth reading.
I loved how Renee and Anatoly's relationship grew in this latest release, also how Anatoly's characters has developed. The Medlov Men are strong, fiercely protective, alpha males and this book shows just how far they would go to protect their families.

Heaven
I just can't get enough of this author. I was literally in heaven as I read this book. This family is my crack, I just can't wait for the next installment. I love how she gives everyone a voice and the introduction of new members. On my last girl trip, I hooked my kindle up and played the first book. If you could see the emotions on my girlfriends faces you would be amazed at how great of a job you do. Keep up the good work.
