I like this series but didn't love this book.It took forever to get Prophecy and Valentine together and like a second for her to "love" Venturi and make him a second lover???It didn't work for me.

Wow. Thankfully read this book at home not at work .phew. This book is the conclusion of Prophecy,Valentine's and Venturis love triangle from the Prophecy: child of light trilogy. You need to read the first 3 books to understand their story otherwise it is just a very, very hot sex scene.

This is a fun short erotic romance story that continue's from the Vampire Realm Trilogy. I loved it!
Prophecy is a powerful witch and now a vampire. To celebrate her death day, a ball was organised, but now she wants a private celebration with her mate, Valentine. On a whim, she casts a spell, but it backfires and she finds herself caught in a tangled web of her own making.
I loved the Vampire Realm Trilogy, so I was excited to find there was a short story that continues with these characters. This story, although short, was a fun read. I have read a few of the more negative reviews and I can see their point; the story is nothing short of erotica. However, I also loved the idea of the author taking a "what if" approach and making a story out of a character's fantasies. If you read the Trilogy, there is a moment when Prophecy fantasizes about a tryst with both of the men she loves. This is the author's way of fulfilling that fantasy. The story is most definitely on the steamy side, and had me giggling at some of the thoughts running through Prophecy's head. I was expecting fireworks when the spell wore off, but was surprised that wasn't the case. The end of the story made me smile, and I am looking forward to continuing the series by reading Reunion as soon as possible.
Felicity Heaton has written another fast paced, sexy paranormal romance that I thoroughly enjoyed! She is one of my favourite authors to read, and is on the top of my favourite authors list!
I do not recommend this book to younger readers due to the extremely HOT and explicit bedroom scenes. However, I highly recommend this book (and series) if you love sexy paranormal romances full of vampires. - Lynn Worton

Naughty, naughty, naughty! This whole book is sex from start to finish! Who knew you could find enough material, and be creative and imaginative enough to fill a whole book with lust and sex! If you are easily offended, or don't like gratuitous references to sexual acts then you won't like this!
The story picks up on the love triangle between Prophecy, Valentine and Venturi, that grew in the 'Prophecy' series, and begins with a party to celebrate Prophecy's 'death-day', (our birthday)! Prophecy decides to have some fun with her magic, and brews up a lust/love spell that she plans to hit Valentine with, unfortunately it back-fires when Venturi comes to her room with Valentine and they both get hit by the spell! (oh what a shame) lol! They basically get involved in a little threesome, and the whole thing is very hot, lustful, sexy (and did I say hot, hot, hot)! There really is no storyline as such, other than Valentine has finally recognised Prophecy has a need to be with Venturi and that she loves him too, (albeit in a different way to her love for him). He decides a threesome could be fun for all of them and 'goes with the flow' as they say lol!
I guess it was nice to see that Venturi finally got his girl, after all he did go out of his way to protect her through the last two books lol! What a lucky girl having two horny, desirable, hot, attentive guys to attend to her every need! If you read the trilogy about these characters, then you may like to read how they end up, or if you just fancy a wild, sexy read to get your blood tingling then this will do it lol!

Good gods, what a Smokin' Hot read!!! Spellbound was everything I expected it to be and more!!
I love Prophecy & Valentine, though I must confess, I've never been a fan of Venturi - but saying that I did enjoy this story (as long as it's not gonna happen on a regular basis and Prophecy & Valentine have much more of an exclusive relationship in future books!!)
Down & dirty, dirty from pretty much start to finish - 2 hot and hunky 'sex slaves' to celebrate her Death Day - what a way to spend a night!! Lucky, lucky girl......
Spellbound was way hotter than the other Prophecy books - mainly as this story features solely on their enjoyment of each other, there's no outside issues to intrude on the trio's fun!!

After being totally enthralled with the rest of the books in the series, I was really disappointed in this one. I like a steamy romance as well as the next person, however, that's not what I was expecting here. I wanted more story line about Prophecy and her life. I couldn't read the rest of the series fast enough. I'd stay up late at night and rush to buy the next one. The write up that leads up to the next book, leaves me wondering if I should buy that one or not, I think it goes off in another direction. To me, this book was all steam and no plot at all, very disappointed. For being the next book in the series, I was really hoping it would continue this wonderful story.

This is going to be one of my more entertaining reviews. I figured from the cover that this was going to be a hot and sexy book. What I didn't expect is how it would leave me squirming in my seat. Yep that's right. I said it. It was naughty, dirty, pure sex, but it was with 3 vampires. A vampire love triangle that got better as time passed. Prophecy took a chance when she made Valentine and Venturi get close but it was so worth it, to be able to have an amazing Death Day present.

I really wanted to love this book but I found some parts to be frustrating. I had to skip over a couple of parts because they were too extreme and I didn't want to remember the characters that way. I love the concept though but really wished there was more dialogue or more working up to the heavier scenes. I don't want to give any of the details away for those that haven't read it but there's a particular vamp I would've LOVED to keep around more in the story.

Ummm...wow I didn't expect that...I thought there was going to be some intrigue in there but kept reading and nope just the finalization of a love triangle coming literally together. It was well written and if there had been more than that to it, I would have ranked it higher.

This was a freebie and when I read it did not realize it was part of a series, while okay as story it might have been better if I had read the prior books to have some of the history of the characters

Felicity Heaton/Anastasia Dawson is an amazing author. I have read more than 50 of her books and have loved them all. Her books include, Vampires, Succubus, witches, angels, shape-shifters, human hunters, dragons, demons, clones, and much more. I hope you enjoy her stories as much as I do.

Short but sweet. I was worried about Venturi...he's such a likeable character. Especially after Mia threatened him & though he loved Prophecy he tried to keep his distance for Valentine. I'm glad things worked out for him. :)
