This entire series—Coffee Date, Just Lunch and Table for Two–is just delightful. Corny word? Yep. But it's the best description for these books. I smiled through each of them and felt all warm and fuzzy inside. By now you know Nia Forrester is one of my fav writers and with this series she proves that she can diversify her pen and still create work that resonates.

Loved this.

A wonderful conclusion to a fantastic series! Rand and Dani are the truth. I love that these characters have flaws and outside shit that challenge their budding relationship, and instead of letting it disrupt what they've been steadily building, they confront their issues and deal with them.

It's rare to read a romance that isn't predicated on instant love or gratification. This relationship was built from the ground up, and I never once felt like "Will y'all hurry up and do this". I loved reading about both Rand's and Dani's insecurities. Their chemistry was magnetic and that spoke for itself without the need for heavy or gratuitous love scenes, the hugging and kissing was genuine enough to make it feel erotic although it was such a basic display of affection.

I highly recommend this series. It's so incredibly satisfying.

Table for Two(pt 3 of Coffee Date)
I don't think Dani bends for Rand as much as she could. I mean I understand she has a business, but it's hers! So I don't understand when he needs and more importantly WANTS her to be at something that is important to him, why doesn't she try to make herself available for that time? She knows this is a big deal for him, she admitted that herself. OK well maybe I'm not thinking fairly when it comes to Dani and her business. They gotta find some sort of medium so they can make this thing work because I have been cheering for these two. At one point I felt Dani needed to grow up. She out here having whole attitudes with Rand about his past like she don't know who is. She really gets on my bad side sometimes. I should have known by the end of this series I would love them both. I am so glad they were able to work everything out.

Gripping...

*Some Spoilers Contained* I think I came close to an anxiety attack with these two. From the first page until the last, I never knew for certain how things would end up. I was totally endeared to this couple. I felt for Rand. His past was coming back to haunt him and it was quite a reckoning. I wanted to be upset with Dani for pulling back and putting some space in between them but it was definitely the wise and right thing to do. I almost got ticked off with the "results". I was thinking how both Rand, Dani, and Lil Rocket deserved a reprieve from sadness and disappointment. I was rooting for their happily ever after all! Loved this couple and this book. I would love a drop in just to see what comes first for Dani, pursuit of a new career field or an addition to their family.

I am so enjoying Rand and Dani's journey as they navigate their new relationship. In Table for Two, Rand and Dani go through some serious ups and downs when Rand's past rears it's ugly head. We find out Rand was essentially dating a high class call girl during his early years in the NFL then, he has a paternity scare from a former friend with benefits whose daughter may or may not be his. Poor Dani. She was so disappointed in Rand. While she knew he had a past, she just didn't expect to be slapped in the face by it like that. This causes Dani to put some distance between her and Rand and do some serious soul searching about their future. But, the stars were aligned for Rand. He was NOT the father so, he and Dani could move forward with their relationship. I loved that Rand had absolutely no problem owning his bad choices and egregious behavior. He was able to speak his truth and move forward to be a better man. My only issue is that, Dani and Trudie still have not had their confrontation. Because, lets be honest, they're no longer friends but a conversation does need to be had between these ladies. I just hope said conversation finally happens in book six. Table for Two was really good and I'm going to be sad when Rand and Dani's story comes to an end.

Rockets Bursting in air with 5+ Stars!

Wow, this was an amazing conclusion to an awe inspired story of love in its purest form. Rand truly loved Dani, and the same was true for Dani. I liked the way their nontraditional relationship began as a friendship and bloomed into a loveship.. I was worried about Rayna and Melanie for a hot minute. Nia almost gave me an arrhythmia when Ran and Dani drifted apart. Lil Rocket was the glue holding them together, on some levels. I liked the connection between Lil Rocket and Dani. And Freya was much better this time. Overall, I loved this story best because I could see a realness in this story. The realness is the clutch move this author brings to each story. Like a star athletes signature move, Nia is the best at her craft. I hope to see what happens down the road with Dani, Rocket and Ran... 5+ Stars

Adulting.....as the kids say

Being able to call yourself on your own mistakes and misdoings deal with them and find a way to true happiness. That's what we all hope to be able to pull off in real life. This was so well written from coffee to dinner that it was like watching a "true" story on someone's life. Really great read.👍👍

Nice Conclusion

I have enjoyed the series of short stories. Each one has left me wanting to see what would happen next. This story shows us the growing pain any new couple has to go through in a new relationship.

PERFECT!

Loved it! Beautiful addition to the series. I love that the characters are relatable and flawed, but not in the cliché “run-out-and-cheat-at-the-first-sign-of-trouble” kind of way.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, as always, with Ms.Forrester’s work!

Great story

While the love story of Rand and Dani is giving me life. The best part of these stories is watching the evolution of Dani. Her glow up is real. From her weight loss journey to her career path, sis is doing the damn thing and I’m so proud.

Rand and Dani are back , and I liked the progression of their relationship . BUT Rands past comes back to bite him in the ass and I really wasn’t surprised .The kind of life he lead before Dani , I expected something to come between them . The one thing I love about Nia’s writing is the fact that she touch’s on subjects relevant to what we’re going through today, as Rand and Dani did after the party , I was nervous . I love little Rocket ! He’s a real boy to me , I totally related to what he was going through , made me cry . This story came to us in three parts , though I enjoyed reading each story , I feel the impact would be greater with just one book .I feel this author really doesn’t write short stories , she writes relationships , and that takes a whole book and even then I always want more .

Worth the wait!

So glad to finally have the ending to Dani and Rand’s story. There were so ,any twists and turns, just like in a real life relationship with a celebrity but I love that his growth as a man made the difference in the outcome. Being famous I’m sure is hard but it’s not impossible to have a loving and committed relationship. Rand grows through tragedy to not only heal but experience love for the first time as well.

Poignant

“She. Will. Leave. Me.,” that was a poignant statement for me because it showed me how important Dani really was to him. She showed what she would not except from him and it made him see the difference between what he had in Faith and what he could have with Dani. That decision told me for sure that Rand was all in with Dani. It showed me not only that he had matured in life but also in love. That statement also showed that most people have a moment of conscience right before they have to make a decision and how taking those extra seconds to think over the consequences, can make that proverbial fork in the road become a clear path to the right decision and in this case, happiness! I think I could keep on reading about Dani and Rand; they have definitely made my list of favorite couples.

Great conclusion!

Loved it! All along, I've been a little skeptical of Rand , and wasn't sure he was good enough for Dani, but it was nice to be shown how wrong I was. When Alexa made the move on him in the beginning of the book and he said to himself, 'She. Will. Leave. Me', I knew he had his head right and realized what he has in Dani. About time. Growth looks good on Rane, lol.

Speaking of growth, I was so happy to see Dani realize her worth, both personally and professionally. I've felt all along like she thought she wasn't deserving of Rand. But she never tried to change into what she thought he needed, instead continuing to do her, so to speak. She was there for him when he needed her, but she also knew when to step back and let him figure things out for himself. And also got Freya to see how she was enabling him.

Great series. I love a good falling in love story, but it was nice that this series allowed us to see the challenges that couples face as the relationship progresses. Well done, Nia Forrester!

Dani and Rand started dating but people who have feelings for them both steps in trying to make their feelings known. Rand started getting more busier working and Dani business was starting to take off. Being busy in their respectful jobs, Dani and Rand started to drift a part and was thinking about calling it quits. After talking and realizing they have strong feelings for each other Rand makes a decision that will change their lives. Rand and Dani is such a great couple and im rooting for them. Their story keeps getting better and im so excited for what's next!!

Wow...

I took my time reading this last installment because Nia indicated that “this was it”, “the buck stops here”, “all good things come to an end”😂😂😂😂 Anyway, as with the first three installments, this one does not disappoint; however, it does still have me feinding for more from this couple. Hopefully they will find their way into someone else’s story in the future. If not, maybe we’ll get a “And Then...”

I love that I can pick up a new series from Nia Forrester and it reads like it was written by a different author. Literally every series. But she remains consistent with her voice within each series. I don't know how else to explain it. I think the thing that ties them all together is a sense of earthiness she brings to even the most idealistic characters. It's what keeps me coming back to this writer over and over.

Another good read!

When reading a short by Nia Forrester, I now know to expect that it's anything but!! From the story length, content, and depth explored with the lead characters...it's guaranteed to be a full, well developed, character driven plot. Dani and Rand didn't an easy road! But the emotional growth shown by Rand, and the patience and support provided by Dani, made for a very compelling read.

Rand man, your reputation proceeds you like a fat kid will at Hersey Park🤭‼️….Now, who’s the judgmental one 🙋🏾‍♀️🤨 🤷🏾‍♀️⁉️Rand’s former Rocketman indiscretion are working my darn nerves 😬🤭‼️ “Table for Two: The Coffee Date Novella - Book 3” was another great read. However, I held my breath anxiously anticipating🫣 the next roaster’s roll call. …whether it was Dani’s business professional clients or Rand’s professional business clientele. Every sports event renders another adventure 😥🤔‼️

I truly love them!!

Dani, Rocket, and little Rocket are one of the most interesting families I have read about. I was on pins and needles waiting for those results. Their love was so real. Their problems were real. This was a real couple with real life issues. Little Rocket was a great kid. It would be good to see how he progresses.

Loved this!

This was an emotional ride.. Danielle is smart, sincere, with a big heart. She understands who Rand is and his issues. I loved this story so much. It was emotional but not whiny and tantrum free. Danielle was open and honest about everything and she didn't try to force Rand into anything. She gave him space to figure things out. This was brilliant, thanks Nia!
