A family to call his own. Orphaned as a boy, Henry has wanted a family for years. Simple, right? Not really. After a year of marriage, his alpha wants a divorce. Even worse, his soon-to-be ex wants Henry’s inheritance. Bereft and heart-broken, Henry is on his own again, and in danger of losing a great deal of money. But just as quickly, he finds himself in the office of a very hot, very ripped, divorce lawyer. A gorgeous, blond alpha who’s giving him a sultry look along with some whip-smart legal advice.
Everything to lose. David’s built his practice to be the best in the tri-state area. It hasn’t come easy. Hard work. Sacrifice. A family of nay-sayers. If he goes anywhere near his handsome client, he risks his reputation. But he can’t deny the simmering attraction. A kiss leads to more. He’s determined to show his omega just how good they can be together.
But doubts and secrets conspire to tear them apart. Henry discovers he’s pregnant. His fears make the relationship spin onto thin ice. But David’s determined to prove he’s man enough to be a strong and dependable alpha.
Can David help heal Henry’s bruised heart and show his omega that they have the makings of the perfect family?
The Attorney’s Omega Baby is a 56,000 word, Mpreg romance with elements of heartache and humor, steamy sex, revenge on lying ex-boyfriends, babies and blissfully-ever-after.
http://www.mpregbooks.com Have you been frustrated trying to find good Mpreg books to read on Amazon? www.mpregbooks.com has books rated over 4 stars separated into categories!
There are a few time jumps, there was a large miscommunication separation, and the pregnancy wasn't really well explained (Henry gives birth without a c-section, but it doesn't tell you how).
Silly, just plain silly. I love mpreg books but I didn’t feel the connection between the Henry and David. It was insta love, which I don’t usually mind but this was ludicrous and the over the top drama was comical and not in a good way.
This was book 1 in the"Baby Makes Three" series. Omega Henry has been blindsided by his husband of one year Greg who wants a divorce. His friend Ned gives him the name of a lawyer to help him. David is an alpha lawyer who is good at his job he can't believe his new client is a hot sexy omega that he wants. David grew up in a mafia family he wanted no part of the family business. Henry's ex is a real piece of work he only wanted him for his money. Henry's parents died a left him with a lot of money. Henry didn't want to believe that Greg was cheating on him although he told his family that Henry was cheating. When Greg shows his true colors it is on camera. David tells him how he feels and gets his heartbroken thanks to Henry's friend Ned. This was a good read they had some really good friends. David is worried how Henry would react when he finds out about his family which is why he didn't touch him while he was a client. This was a good read although the book did have an error in it. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
This was an excellent story that seems to have three stories or periods in David and Henry's life that bring us to our HEA. You have the first part where Henry seeks out David's help in his divorce where his alpha tells lies about him. Then you have the part where Henry's best friend Ned upsets the apple cart with humors he has heard about David and his family, then how they get back together. The last is the pregnancy and David's family. There is a lot of angst, grief, treachery, lies, deceit, meddling friends, meddling family, friendships gone wrong, growing love, Mpreg, hot sex, alpha/omega relationships, laughter, tears, anger, pregnancy hormones, whiney pregnant omega, and an HEA. The only thing that I would have asked is that Penelope and Ned not disappear after their their interfering ploys. Good story and would recommend this story to anyone.
Henry was at times pitiful and others adorable - depending on what he was doing. His desire for a family resonated but the whole issues with the family who took him in was unrealistic - I don’t think that’s plausible given the length of their relationships - esp. With the parents. I enjoyed the romance part - and am looking forward to the rest in the series. Needs a bit more world building and to more fully flesh out the mpreg part as this is not a shifters universe where you have a different species.
This was cute and sweet and I liked it enough to give it three stars. However, I spent some time rolling my eyes because of the loads of misunderstanding between Henry and David that were not only caused by themselves but their so-called friends. Man, who needs an enemy if you have friends like Henry and David have? (I absolutely detested David's banshee over-the-top secretary/friend. I just hated her.)
I really enjoyed this story from a new author to me. It was a great start to a new series. We have a story about Henry who needs an attorney as his pitiful excuse for a husband has filed for a divorce. When he meets David, sparks fly. David is trying so hard to do nothing to tarnish his reputation as his family has a shady past (present?), and he knows that getting involved with his client is unethical. But things don't always go the way we plan. Once the divorce is finished, you would think that it was easy street for these two but Henry's best friend throws a major wrench in the mix. There is a lot of wide range of emotions in this book and no small amount of angst. I could have strangled Ned for what he did, though he does fix it in the end. As with most Mpreg books, there needed to be just a little more in the end. The baby is born & the book is done. I would have liked to see a wedding or them settling down as a family. Maybe we will get to see this in the next book in the series, which I cannot wait to read.
i hope this book burns in hell. i hope it rots. bella, i hope your pillows are warm on both sides. what the fuck did i just read??? this was worse than my 10 year old self’s stories that i used to write for fun - at least i actually plotted them out!!!
this had the worst case of ‘insta love’ i’ve ever read. how on earth was everyone so delusional to just go yeah, sure, these two are deffo meant to be after they met ONE TIME!?!?!??!?!! do you even hear yourself bella?????? are you okay?????? because i’m not after reading this absolute drivel. it was 56k words of absolute nonsense, terribly written sex, badly paced happenings and just a load of poopy doodoo crappy pants shit that made me go insane. alas, i do this for the lols, and this book has been on my radar for around 2-3 years bc of the cover alone and i finally got around to reading... i wish i just left it alone. truly.
also why did henry shit a baby outta his asshole? whatever, i don’t care. my psychotic episodes make more sense than this.
I thought I knew what to expect. I've read so many MM romances - mpreg in particular, and quite a few over the past month. But Bella Bennet not only surprised me, but pleased & thoroughly entertained me. With over 8,000 MM books I was having a hard time deciding what to read next. Finally enjoying a staycation, glad not having to drive out in the daily snowfall for a change. Playing in snow with my pups, then drinking hot chocolate or tea. And getting back to the current book I'm reading. Watching BONES on DVD, I'm up to Season 5 of 12, while I write up then type up my Reviews, before I am off to the adventure of finding the next book to read.
Bella Bennet is a new author for me and I can confidentially say this will not be the last time I read a book by her. Since this one is the First Book of the so far Three Part series, BABY MAKES THREE. I really hope there are more. I am having so much fun with this one I am eager to dive into the other two.
I was taken on a rollercoaster ride of emotions as I read this book: trepidation, embarrassment, shyness, the pull of attraction, pulse of a sensual beat, frustration at moral code, anger, sadness, disappointment, misery, fear, loss of a family & marriage, suspicion, upset, hollowed out, danger, freaked out, conspiratorial, feeling duped, boxed in, horror at learning something terrible, loneliness, overwhelmed, ruined reputation, satisfaction, happiness, elation.
OMG I laughed so much for the last third of the book I had tears in my eyes. I listened as I finally drug my carcass out of the house and to a restaurant. I went the long way around so I could continue to listen to the hilarious situations out main characters, Henry and David found themselves in. Both men had a hard time trusting, but they had a scorching hot attraction between the two of them. I really enjoy the Alpha and Omega dynamic. Watching Henry's growth was very rewarding. Seeing the maturation of his relationship with David was heartwarming.
Be careful what you wish for, because you might just get it. Henry thought David was ashamed of him and that was the reason he hadn't been taken to meet the Bianchi Family. Well he got his wish :0). One of the funnier moments in the book.
I was sad when this book ended, the only saving grace was that Book 2 in the series awaited me. If you're someone who enjoys experiencing all aspects of a mpregnancy. You will like how this author handles it.
Henry Cooke just wanted a family. He thought had one when his best friend's family took him in when his parents died in an accident. But now his alpha wants a divorce and he wants Henry's inheritance and will do anything to get it, including lying about Henry. Heart-broken, Henry finds himself in an attorney's office, an attorney who is incredibly good looking and sexy.
David Bianchi has worked hard to get where he is. It has not been easy, considering his family, but David has succeeded and he must stay away from the sexy omega if he is to keep his reputation. Neither one can resist but secrets and doubts and some misinformation make the possibility of a relationship seem impossible, but with a little help from friends, maybe not!
You could not help but feel bad for Henry. He had so many problems - loss of his alpha, loss of his new family and the potential loss of his inheritance. At the same time, you could not help but admire David for working so hard to succeed when his family connections seemed to be a stumbling block. They fell apart and it would something massive to bring them back together. Henry is still reluctant to make the last committment but David is ready. Do they succeed? Pick up Omega's Attorney and prepare to be enchanted.
This book has a good premise but it needs a lot of work to make it a good book. The grammar is off in places and sometimes it seems like there are parts missing from sentences. Some words are used wrong and the flow is just absent. This book needs heavy editing so that the repeated sections (of which there are many!) can be removed and a lot more showing can be done instead of telling. In places it seems like the author has attempted to show things but then has maybe felt they needed to explain and has ended up adding unnecessary information. I almost put the book in my DNF folder but I was determined to finish it just to say I had. I had to force myself to read as the book felt disjointed and jumped from section to section without fully developing the background. The characters were one dimensional and felt stilted with each other. I couldn't understand why David and Henry were together. I have read plenty of instalove stories but this didn't even feel like those. It felt a lot like the author realised that mpreg was becoming a big thing and decided to try their hand at it without doing research and just assuming anything would work. Like I said, it had the bones of a good story but this is a first draft, not a finished product.

This was an okay book that I think had the potential to be good but feel short. Since this is just my opinion I'm not going to go into too much detail. I just could not like Henry in any way, he was a complete a** and he didn't deserve someone as caring and loving as David. You could really feel David's heartache and love but Henry just came off as cold, closed off and uncaring. Next what was the whole point of the mafia angle it nothing was ever going to come of it? Just filler that had no real point but lots of wasted potential.
Henry is going through a divorce and his friend, Ned recommends David as his lawyer. It is a tough divorce not only because Henry's soon to be ex is looking to clean Henry out of his inheritance but because David is seriously taken with his new client. Caution and miscommunication keep them apart after the divorce. They are both miserable until two friends take drastic steps to get them to recognize they are perfect for each other. It is a hard won HEA but we get there.
This has the makings of a good book but is in desperate need of an editor. No major grammatical errors that I noticed, but the language is stilted and doesn’t flow naturally. There are jumps in both the way the characters think/act and the action/plot without any explanation. This book felt like it was written by someone who is a fan of the genre but this is their first attempt at writing a book.
The story was pretty good. I liked the MCs and a good portion of the other characters but, the flow was a little choppy and I’m pretty sure in one scene the writer mixed up the MCs. The editor also missed a few things (wrong word (s), missing word(s), too many words, etc.)
Didn't connect with the characters as much as I had hoped
I love omegaverse books. I love the insta-love and matings and babies. It's been a while since I read one so I was looking forward to it. I liked the concept of the divorced omega falling for his attorney. Having the attorneys family in the mob added to the draw. But I didn't really feel the connection between Henry and David that I want in these kinds of books.
This was a cute premise, but fell a bit flat for me. I like the idea of a straight laced lawyer trying to make a name for himself outside his family's shady dealings while still having close ties with them, and I liked David's character. But I could not like Henry as a character, at all. And I thought the giant miscommunication to cause angst as a plot point was way too dramatic.

i wanted to send it to my DNF pile by chapter 5 or 6, but it had potential so i gave it a bit more time but by chapter 9 i just could not stand it anymore - the ridiculous plot. **spoiler** when they thought up a plan to get the two characters together i cringed but continued reading but when they tied them to the chairs and left was the last straw for me.
Cute story :) Although my biggest pet peeve is miscommunication and assumptions...you know what they say about assumptions? It makes @$$e$ out of you and me. That was the only issue I had, it took me a little bit to get through it because the rampant miscommunication was a major turn off. Other than that it was a good story.
This book is about a soon to be divorced omega and the Alpha attorney who represents him during his divorce .
I really enjoyed this book the storyline was great and the characters where fantastic . I was rooting for the two main characters and their journey toward love and happiness .
The book was nice. There were some grammatical errors but it didn't distract from the story. What I didn't like was there was no villain and no tension. I like some action in the book. The story itself was genuine and I liked it. I just hoped that ex-husband would try something nefarious in the end. That would have made this book so much better for me.
I wanted and needed so much more to this story. There were parts of the storyline that details were just glossed over! There was so much potential but didn't go deep enough for me. I did love the characters (especially Penny) but this wasn't enough to give it more stars.
The book started out OK but went downhill quick it was so sweet it made syrup seem bitter The writing was just bad by about 30% of the way through it was a real struggle just to finish the book I don’t think I will read any more books by this Author I usually try to be more positive but I Can’t it was Just plain bad
This had so much potential. The characters were well thought out, and the basis of the story was good. I just couldn't get over the repetitive nature of all the sentence structures. The lack of flow when reading, especially through the spicy scenes, just made me cringe. I typically don't DNF books, especially when they're not very long, but I did with this one.
When I read the blurb, I thought this would be interesting and to a degree, it was. When really bothers me that here again, NO CONVERSATIONS between the characters. You read ten paragraphs of in mind thinking before you get a conversation sentence of ten words! Gets kinda of BORING.
Well written and entertaining! The characters what can I say they are great. I love his mom, best friend Penny and I can for sure not look at spaghetti the same way any more. The poor roses! Great book with humor and love!
Omg this book was absolutely amazing. This book was a page turner that I just couldn't stop reading until the end. I had absolutely loved reading this book. I would highly recommended this book.
