Pull on your onesie, light the fire, grab a hot chocolate and join Ella, Nathan, Sam, Charlie, Walt and the cavalry for another riotous read.
CJ Morrow writes the kind of fiction she likes to read and since her taste is varied so are her books. She loves a romcom with a guaranteed happy ending, equally she loves a psychological thriller especially where the ending is a plausible shocker.
When she doesn't like what's going on in the world, she writes another one.
Word weaver, lover of things curious, unseen and unexplainable, general wordy person. Always watching and laughing, mostly at herself.
I enjoyed this book as much as the first one, it was a delightful read that gave me a happy feeling when I'd finished it. I'm looking forward to reading more of your books.
Great book. Super writer (no annoying grammatical errors). This book is funny and cheerful with great characters. It's well worth reading the prequel before this one. Definitely an A+.

Just like the first book, this one was quite a fun read. There are again slightly annoying aspects to the main character but overall it was an enjoyable book. I quite enjoyed the world with tiny magical hints that the author created.
I feel rather ungenerous, giving this follow up novella only 3 stars, as I really did enjoy it, yet not enough to award a higher rating. The writing style was excellent, as before, and being already familiar with the characters, I was expecting another delightful, if slightly quirky, read.
After I read the last page, I was left thinking 'Is that it?' I wondered if there was another 'onesie' book, in the writing or planning stages, which would tie up all the loose ends, because it seemed to me to end abruptly.
I loved that Phoebe popped up unexpectedly, and seemed to have no idea who Ella was, except that she that she knew she had been acquainted her at some time. Previously Phoebe came across as aloof and scathing, but this time she is warm and ditsy.
Sam, who was not told about the history or the offerings to the Stream of Life in the first book, suddenly behaves strangely after a glass of water and later gives Ella an offering for the stream. none of this is not explained, even though Ella muses on it a while.
Hal turns up in the chapter entitled 'Party' and seems to have had a complete change of personality. I felt this was a cover, and I would soon be reading how he had another scheme to get his hands on the spring water. And the character Hilary, seemed a pointless addition... unless there was another book in the series...
Having enjoyed 'Blame it on the Onesie' so much, I was a little disappointed that this follow-up novella left me with more questions than answers. Here's hoping for one more onesie!
After I read the first book, I was excited to read what was going to happen next, but I was terribly disappointed. I struggled to finish the book as it was really boring (nothing really happened and if I wasn't familiar with the characters I would have stopped reading very early on. It was just plain disappointing.
A novella with a cliffhanger of sorts published six years ago. I would avoid this, honestly because you’re not going to get any sort of resolution to the story.
I guess I’ll check back in six years and see if she’s written a sequel.
