I'm writing this review merely to state that there are no other grammars of Persian worth reading for those aiming merely to grasp the language. This is book is unparalleled in its comprehensiveness, and it should set the bar for later publishings, some of which I hope will aim to even top this one.

Really breaks down the structural differences between literary and colloquial Persian. The book is also divided really well between each topic. Definitely one of my favorite Routledge grammars.
