Grogar: A Hearth's Warming Horror Story

Rate this book

The winter’s wind is blowing hard.

The air is thick and white.

All good foals should hide their heads

Because HE comes tonight.

Hooks and chains and ringing bells

Are among HIS favorite toys.

Screams and cries and filly’s tears

Are things that HE enjoys.

HE comes tonight not to give,

HE comes tonight to take

So you’d better be good, my little one

If only for goodness sake.

Tonight the stars will hide their eyes,

The good shall make no sound.

For tonight is Hearth’s Warming Eve,

And GROGAR is coming to town.

Gotta be blunt I have no review that is quite solid enough for this story, especially the audio version. It's terrifying, brutal, and just keeps going.

I love it. It's probably one of the best and people really slept on it.

A lot of people found it funny initially due to thinking Grogar was fanmade, but once you know he's a real og threat in MLP lore, it's even more terrifying to hear/read his name even dared to be mention like it is.
