Madison is a young woman without direction, taking a teaching position at an engineering school (teaching anthrop0logy, of all things) while she figures out her next move in life. One day, during a workout on the soccer field, she happens upon Gabe, a young man with whom she forms an instant attraction.
The problem is - he's her student. Is a fling between them against the rules? Yep. Does it stop them? Nope.
We've all had fantasies about that one person that we shouldn't want, but do. Lesson Plan is a story that explores such a relationship. It's hot and steamy (lots of sex despite its short length), and you wonder at all times whether Gabe and Madison can actually hammer out a lasting relationship, because when they get caught (and you know they will), the s**t will hit the fan.

Lesson Plan is the first book I read by these two ladies, Kimberly Readnour and Michelle Lynn and I have to say that I enjoyed their team-work very much! It is a complete short story about a woman in her late twenties who found love in one of her collage students. A forbidden love affair that walks in a thin line between right and wrong.
Madison Young isn't happy with the turn her life took. She is once again under her parents guidance despite her twenty-seven-year-old. They found her a job as an anthropologist at San Paco college, a position Madison isn't much interested in. Meeting a younger man the night before her first day at work and realizing the next day he was one of her students, was the cherry on the top for her bad luck. What happens next for Madison and Gabe is the most unexpected journey for both of them, that has, guarantee, a beautiful and inspiring HEA ending.
I love reading Lesson Plan! While it is a short story, it is so well written that made me feel like I was living it along with the two heroes, without leaving me hanging in the end. As the story opens, it's easy to feel connected with Madison. She is so open and expressive, it's hard not to love her. As the story unfolds, many personal-family issues of hers became more clear. I loved and envied the relationship Madison has with her little brother, Brett. Their witty dialogs are so hilarious, yet they had some serious ones which were very touching. What I love most in the book is the chemistry between Madison and Gabe. They are a formidable match with a love to leaps off the pages. People say "Best to fall in love with a personality than looks". Well, these two not only have the look but their personality speak volumes.
I hope I intrigue your imagination and made you grab the book yourselves and find out what's really happening because there is no way to tell you myself.

Disappointing read

Two of my favorites romance genres are student - teacher and older woman - younger man so, when I read the blurb of Lesson Plan , I was happy to see both in the same book . However, my happiness didn't last long as within the first few pages I was bored out of my mind with this book.
What it's the matter, you may ask? Well, let see... The paper-thin-plot, one-dimensional characters, dated narrative, lackluster and mechanical 'sexy times' and overall uneven feel of the story. I forced myself to finish the story and not pull a DNF .
This is my first book of by this author .

A very sexy and forbidden love story! I found the characters to be charming and dashing all in one. They made me laugh and feel the swoons! I absolutely adored this book. If you're looking for something suspenseful and lustful I recommend :)

Yup that is what this story was. Short. Hot. Sexy. Forbidden. Teacher-student romance. Just not a young freshman 18-19 years old. A student who knows what he wants and a teacher who is trying to figure out what she wants. All in all a good story for anyone looking for a quick read.

Short story
It was a decent story but really short. I want to read a ling 200+ page book that builds up romance,and such. There are some grammatical mistakes. I liked that the book is a easy read, it would be perfect for someone who doesn't want to read alot. More details would be nice, along with a longer story line.

I loved this prohibited love story. Madison and Gabe are so great together.
It is a short story, I read it in one seat but it is complete. I really enjoyed it.

Awesome read about forbidden love. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts, and the plot pulls in you and won't let go. I highly recommend this book.
